how hard would it have been to sell a remix EP on 3rdeyetunes.com? it would have fleshed
out the whole feel of the albums. but nah. we'll get those remixes on a new album instead

i wonder if the fixurlifeup remix will be on '3rd eye girl's sophomore release'

havig said all that, i don't really care as long as there are about 8 strong tracks on the album
and i still hold out hope since i totally love HARDROCKLOVER and X'SFACE

Because he hasn't had this many good new tracks that are also perfect for a live show. All three sound like they would kill live. When was the last time that has happened? The 80's?

Yep I remembered that version from last spring too... I think the cloud remix was faster and dance like wasn't it?

Yes, all those remixes were like dance versions to me. Pump, pump, pump. If Revelation is on it, that would make me very happy. I also like Shut This Down and Million Dollar Show. Not sure what else is going to be on it, but hopefully If I Could Get Your Attention will be too. Big Taja fan here. I know Taja was at Paisley Park last summer, would be interesting to know if that had anything to do with him rerecording it.

So 3 for 3 so far, Stare, Hardrocklover and TCBU. I understand these tracks are not going well with the six vocal people who love AOA, but for the general audience, this is far far better/not repulsive.
I can play these tracks in the car with other people without feeling embarased for Prince ...and for myself for playing it in front of innocent people. Love it. Love the extended ending. Now this sounds like the Prince that makes the top of all of those lists.

This could be the best Prince album is many many years.

You all didn't really miss out on anything with those other remixes. Hopefully they won't be wasted space on any new album(s). I love HARDROCKLOVER and X'S FACE too. I think you'll like SHUTTHISDOWN too, if you like those. I'm loving the bass on THISCOULDBUS too.

I remember reading somewhere Taja visited Paisley Park, wonder if she's on the new version. I guess it's possible, he likes using female vocalists a lot lately. . I'm looking forward to Shut This Down and Million Dollar Show after hearing the snippets.

According to who heard If I Could Get Your Attention at Paisley Park, it was Prince on vocals

The original song was a tedious lament, but this new version is simply great.
