Prince use to have a party with WB every New Years Eve
First he had a deal. Now he has to leave
Releasing shit on Tidal that you would never believe..
We asked "Realeasing any vinyl?" Prince replied, "you can keep the memories..."

lol just joking.

This would be much better if Prince actually SANG and added more LYRICS. A rap — something — to make it worthwhile. A really industrial DANCEABLE version would be cool. This is blah.

But thanks for posting to GooglePlay so we can download! I hate Tidal. Prince shouldn't make fans slaves to Tidal for the Album, since he didn't like being a slave. Fans like Freedom and options too!

Can't wait for the #FreeUrself album that got yanked so Prince could milk us for more bread with a remix album.

Can we get a digital booklet with new releases please? Pretty Please?!?

I also prefer the Egyptian art to the 80s art. That's how I've updated the song in my iTunes.

The 80s image isn't retro enough for my tastes.

I listened to it twice and it didn't make my ears bleed like most of the stuff on AOA. But it's not good either.

I don't think it's necessarily the worst thing Prince has ever done, but it's definitely shitty. What really gets me though is the fact that Prince or someone in Prince's camp (I don't remember and I don't give two fucks enough to look it up) said this was experimental. That's just laughable. Well, laughable and depressing as hell.

Oh no, you got it wrong; she said it was "super-experimental" lol

I was hoping this song would remain a Tidal exclusive. Embarrassing track to put up on iTunes and not representative of the talent this guy has. This remix is just tragic if you ask me. I liked a good portion of AOA but this one remix is an amateur piece of homemade garbage. It takes real skill to ruin Prince's voice and this track d-d-d-d-d-d-does it for me-me-me-me-me-me.

Yes. It takes real talent to release music this shitty. D'Angelo will never be as clueless and devoid of artistic merit as Prince is these days. D'Angelo could read a phone book over the sound of a broken air conditioner and it would be better than this fucking garbage. I can't believe this is going to actually be on Prince's new album. That's shockingly embarrassing. Or, as you would say: rolleyes

I like the original but also the remix. Prince is adding whole new dimensions to an already cool song, they come across totally different songs to me. That added guitar and piano are great enhancers and additions. cool

That's exactly it. In the US the single is listed as being from "NPG", but Universal released the song internationally under various UMG labels (Virgin EMI being the case in the UK}.

finally heard it. Sounds like Josh went wild on the vocal tracks and some guitar tracks Prince had lying around. I like the vocal tracks and the guitar tracks. Everything else... someone above posted my thoughts exactly, that it sounds like something an aspiring dj in highschool would make. No restraint at all when it comes to the cliched effects. Tries way too hard to be 'cool'.

...and...yet...most people (aside from diehard P fans) really like it. Better than the original.

As I stated, I heard it once and it stuck in my head. In a good way.

Yes it's a bit lazy of him to use the same vocal track. The likes of the Space, TMBGIW and I Hate U remixes were great because he'd record new vocals with additional lyrics.

Saying that I've listened to this new version of TCBU back to back with Hardrocklover a couple of times today and it's grown on me a bit. Even tho the sound effects in the first half remind me of Ross from Friends playing his keyboard.

that's good. Other people liking it is not an argument for me to like it too, though. And because i don't like it doesn't mean that you shouldn't like it either. If you enjoy it, right on.

Do you know what the most depressing thing is? By Prince's standards this song actually is experimental as is AOA. No doubt about that.

It SOUNDS MUCH BETTER in my iTunes tracklist on my iPhone now that I've downloaded via GooglePlay. You have to listen to Prince albums in context. I will now rescind and reserve judgment until I hear all of HitNRun — sitting with my cat in my lap with all the lights off in my crib.

Tidal SUCKS. I feel suckered/bamboozled for even listening to it and subscribing. Don't do it. You were warned.

Most people who? Most people think Prince died in the 90's in a dangerous lack-of-ribs-self-Fellacio accident.

I refuse to believe people other than 'diehard Prince fans' have even heard this track (other than those that were mercilessly subjected to it by diehard, massichistic Prince fans)...
