It may have not been the wisest things to say...especialy right now. But in the end I see people who are mad at him for having an opinion. Prince is a JW and I am not. He has many views I dont agree with but Im not mad at him for it.But I can so see how he said it and the fact that he even chose to say that knowing much of his fanbase is homosexual would anger people. that's one way of looking at it. when i read that bit about the woman on the swings and him going up to her i just thought he was lucky that she wasn't a mad psychopath who stabbed him in the throat. it's great that he would talk to someone personally and all but i just hope he had a few bodyguards there as he yelled at her through a megaphone from the paisley park front porch Oh I'm sure he didn't just run out there and not tell anyone.....She was being passive aggressive and the best way to deal with them is confronting them but in a firm and assertive way..... stalkers will run... I've seen it...It takes all of their power away. A guy that I was close to for quite a while would come over unannounced even though I consistently asked him to call before he came over....It was hard for me to send him away when he surprised me... and he knew that. I was sooo frustrated...and I didn't want to be mean... I tried to answer the door and discuss it with him and he always somehow got inside and won the argument. So I finally talked with someone who understood the passive aggressive type.....He told me "next time he comes to your door unannounced..step outside, close the door behind you and ask him what he wants." I didn't think it would make any difference so I tried it..... The guy came to my door and I came out and asked him what he wanted.... He was caught totally by surprise... and said "well to say hi what else?" I said "well hi". He looked like he'd seen a ghost... and actually ran (yes really ran) to his car and jumped in and drove off....lol.....I was shocked.... it worked.....He never came by again..... It's very very strange...but it works not to be flustered and be calm and in control with those kinds of people.....they like shock value..... That dude from his band that's a JW worked him over I bet for a long while until he didn't know up from down..... it's more psychology than religion....now he's trained and convinced he'll never win.... he'll die trying though if he stays with this religion. If you believe in God, then you have to fight all these types of questions that you raise. It must be really tough for you because, I agree, it's impossible to work out.. Pleasureprincipal..I like that name reminds me of one of my favorite videos..janet jacksons pleasure principal..but sweetie its not my own my own thoughts, I have a gay uncle and love him and speak and closer to him than the rest of my uncles, along with my brothers..I love him regardless of him being gay, he know and admitts and will tell you that it is wrong and he stated he will never get married because that is not what god wants and he also stated that he will change when he is ready too, and he enjoys that I do not pressure him or even bring the subject up with me, and he always comes to me with bible questions..so do believe that all gays believe in marriage or don't know what they are doing is not in connection with god..everyone is on a different page..and when my uncle is ready to give up that lifestyle if he ever does my arms are wide open just as they are now! | |
