He's baaaaaack... (Chris Brown -- Violent Outburst at 'GMA')

Chris Brown -- Violent Outburst at 'GMA'
46 minutes ago by TMZ Staff

Chris Brown exploded in rage behind the scenes at "Good Morning America" this morning ... smashing a window and storming out without a shirt ... sources tell TMZ ... and it was triggered by on-air questions about the Rihanna incident.

ABC sources tell TMZ ... Brown performed and was interviewed by Robin Roberts live from the Times Square studio when she began asking about the infamous incident.

Brown tried to redirect the questions to focus on his album -- but Roberts continued to ask about Brown's legal issues stemming from the Rihanna incident.

We're told after the interview, Brown freaked out, storming into his dressing room and screaming so loud, the people in hair and makeup became alarmed and called security.

We're told Brown was out of control, and one source present tells us he smashed a window in his dressing room, and the glass shattered and some shards fell onto 43rd and Broadway. ABC security tells TMZ ... the window was shattered with a chair.

We're told by the time security rushed the area, Brown had ripped off his shirt and left the building, blowing off another performance he was supposed to do for the ABC website.

And sources say ... on his way out of the building, Brown confronted a segment producer, got in his face and stared him down. People from the show got in between Chris and the producer to diffuse the situation.

Remember -- Brown is on probation for the felony beating and he's required to obey all laws.

UPDATE 6:49 AM: Brown just tweeted, "I'm so over people bringing this past s**t up!!! Yet we praise Charlie sheen and other celebs for there bulls**t."

UPDATE 6:59 AM: Brown has already deleted the previous tweet ... and added a new one that reads, "All my fans!!! This album is for you and only you!!! I'm so tired of everyone else!! Honestly!! I love team breezy!!"

I'm afraid it's too late. Everybody will now see dude for the loose cannon he really is. If anybody was defending him before, I wonder how they'll try and justify this.

Robin Roberts -- Chris Ap...ihanna Q's

Robin Roberts asked Chris Brown if she could question him about the Rihanna incident BEFORE the live interview began on "GMA" this morning ... this according to sources connected to the production.

0322_chris_brown_GMA_EX

Sources tell TMZ ... Roberts insists both she and other "GMA" staff members spoke with Chris before the interview and asked if it would be OK to fire off "a few questions" about the Rihanna incident ... and Chris approved.

As TMZ first reported, Brown flipped out after the interview -- and apparently smashed a window in his dressing room.

Robin is telling people at the show she did NOT try to set him up ... and insists, "I'm pulling for the guy."

As for the broken window, sources say no one in the studio saw Chris throw the chair into the window ... but he was definitely in the dressing room when the window was smashed.

^^^^^ My favorite line in the whole article. This is about like Kanye saying, "I ain't saying she's a gold digger, but she ain't messing with no broke n*****." lol lol lol lol

Robin Roberts just put him on blast. I guess he thought he could get his Charlie Sheen on and be rewarded for it this week in sales. The buzz from his singles should have been good enough for a decent debut next week. I guess this is the new marketing and promotion machine at work sad

Sorry, but that rationale is ridiculous. This is no way helps his sales out. CB has a fucking problem and he needs to get his shit under control.

I believe Robin. She's a nice lady and doesn't seem like the type who would just spring questions on somebody to embarrass him/her in front of everyone like that. She's not known for being a tough interviewer. If Chris Brown wants to keep acting a fool like that, his career will be finished for good.

That's an interesting juxtaposition.

I wonder if the difference (aside from the obvious) is that Charlie's "victims" don't seem altogether as innocent as Rihanna. And Charlie also owns his crap. He seems to say, "Yeah, I'm crazy. Deal with it, b*tches." Chris, on the other hand, seems often to take a position that says, "But.. but... I am a victim, too!" bawl He deserves that acknowledgement, of course, but people seem resistant to having their sympathies taken for granted these days.

I don't see Charlie Sheen as being celebrated; most seem to think he's off his rocker, rightfully so.

But Chris Brown throws a temper tantrum in which he busts out a window... after already having beat the crap out of his girlfriend? He deserves to be villified.

I sort of agree with you in one token, but on the flip side, Chris is now starting to add to his "villification" these days. If he wants people to let his past go, then he needs to let go of the fact that people are going to STAY all up in his past because for as long as he lives, there's always going to be somebody who is going to bring up the Rhianna incident...whether or not he rises to the top again or becomes a has been. I'm pretty sure he knew beforehand what was going to be asked so there was no reason to go apeshit afterwards. If he would had played his cards right, he could've answered the questions respectfully and humbly as well as intertwining that he has apologized and moved on.

As far as the Charlie Sheen incident goes, I haven't really seen how he has been "celebrated" in his meltdown. To me, he sort of celebrates being an asshole...on the otherhand, with Chris still whining about people not letting the past go and then reacting immaturely makes him an asshole. Just my opinion.

The fact that he's got a sold out tour (doing what I don't know) that's gonna earn him $7 million AND the possibility of getting his job back AFTER he's openly indulged in all kinds of illegal activities is how he's being celebrated.

The thing with Chris is he doesn't know what to do when he doesn't get his way. Instead of breaking windows, storming out of interviews, twitter tirades, and getting all pissy he could have simply said, "Next question" and moved on. This is the difference between someone who's mature and someone who's not. He has to learn how to control his temper which is what got him into trouble in the first place. Now I gotta hear about this shit all day. SMH...
