Obama calls Beyonce a role model for his daughters? eek

JayZ and Beyonce were supporters of Obama campaign. eek

.

JayZ: Before making it big, Jay-Z was a crack dealer in Brooklyn at the age of 13. During an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2009, he called drug dealers in Brooklyn his “role models” growing up.

.

He also has a history of violence. When he was 12, he shot his 16-year-old brother and he stabbed a record producer in December 1999. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to probation for the assault. Jay was even shot three times while growing up.

.

...........And, to think that Prince trusted JayZ. eek

Go take this foolery to the conspiracy thread or the Tidal thread.

with an officially admitted, well-documented history of violence. it's a shame he thinks he can make a claim on the estate, and who knows how low he will go??

Also, Omarr is saying Van will resign his position as attorney to the law firm of Baker and Baker.

Remember Van was representing Omarr for awhile.

Omarr says he will waive any conflict.

Van filed an Acceptance of Appointment as co-Personal Representative of the Estate which means he wants the job.

I wonder why Van wants to do this?

He will not be representing the Estate forever, will he???

Van will be out of a job once everything is straightened out unless this will be a job that will last for years? It may be the siblings dont want to bother with the Administrative aspects of the Estate, and are willing to pay Van big bucks for a long time to be P's Personal Representative.

Omarr states Van has "deep contacts" in the music industry.

Just because you have deep contacts in the music industry does not make you an expert.

hmmm

what do "deep contacts" have to do with any of this? what the hell does that mean? u don't need deep contacts to administor prince's estate and music, u need competant ones! there is nothing to suggest that van jones is competant in this area.

--- Van is an attorney who worked for Prince for 5 years recently. The truth of the matter is Londell has not done a good job.

and you know this how?

either you are working on these files yourself - in which case you are subject to a breach of confidentiality lawsuit and best watch your words here!!!

or you are simply just another Orger expressing your own personal strongly felt opinions, without the actual legal standing to make libelous statements like the bolded quote above.

Reasons that Londell has not done a good job.

1) The concert fisaco that he had to go to Irving Arioff for help with. (Fact)

2) The deal with Universal who Prince got rid of. (Fact)

3) The contined bootlegging and copyright infringement that is going on with no intervention by the estate. (Fact)

4) The Tidal mess. Why was a lawsuit not filed back in June if the money could not be located. The Federal case would have been underway by this time. (Fact)

5) The stupid tweets. (Fact)

6) Hanging with that Van Rascal dude. (Fact )

7) He term was only temporary and the family has the right to have him removed if they are not happy with his work. Half of the sibs are unhappy with him. (Fact)

Good point the estate should be reporting this guy to the bar association and suing for that stolen property which if he lied on any documents to do it opens him up to criminal charges.

I am not an attorney and I even know this much.

Please learn the definiton of libel. The things I mentioned are facts and mentioned with just cause. I am sure Omar and Tyka have listed their reasons for wanting to replace him and that is a fact that is in the court record along with the things I posted which are factual.

Not liking that a statement is being made about you is not libel if it is based on facts.

Definition of libel

  1. 1 a : a written statement in which a plaintiff in certain courts sets forth the cause of action or the relief sought b archaic : a handbill especially attacking or defaming someone

  2. 2 a : a written or oral defamatory statement or representation that conveys an unjustly unfavorable impression b (1) : a statement or representation published without just cause and tending to expose another to public contempt (2) : defamation of a person by written or representational means (3) : the publication of blasphemous, treasonable, seditious, or obscene writings or pictures (4) : the act, tort, or crime of publishing such a libel

IMO, since this is THE BIG TIME, lawyers, advisors and other personnel should be experienced in handling this aspect of the entertainment industry as well as multimillion dollar estates. I have mentioned the Eastmans several times on this site and on FB, but Prince's estate needs people with their experience and their expertise to appropriately oversee and monetize the estate. They have handled Paul McCartney's business since he married Linda Eastman, and he is a billionaire today. How did Yoko Ono handle the Lennon estate? To whom did she turn? These are the big time players Prince was in company with, and his legacy/estate should be in the hands of the best in the business.

and yes, i already know the definition of libel. thank you for highlighting the defintion lol lol

but i really don't want to waste time in a back and forth with you. i just don't see the point. rose

You know, this has been speculated about, and the last time I saw one of those "wealthiest in the UK" entertainer listings, he was over a billion.

I'm not sure if it's his expertise either but I don't think he's a vulture. I think he was a close friend and really cared for Prince. I'm not worried about him selling Prince out to the highest bidder.

I value this thread, you and the other orgers that take the time to read / breakdown what's happening. I have watched this guy for 8 years bounce around gigs. I'd rather a lawyer with a music / copyright background.
