I bought some beautiful purple glass balls for my tree and have one of those light show things outside pointed at my house, lighting purple "drops" that look like Purple Rain.

Went to the marathon expo tonight and bought a guitar sneaker charm to add to my O(-> charm that I wear on one of my running shoes. Because all I listen to when I run is Prince.
I also made a felt Prince tree ornament. |

Started a ping pong club at our local community centre. Kept ragging on the recreation director till she got the lights fixed in the youth gaming room and dragged up a couple of ping pong tables from the basement storage. Now we meet twice a week, an eclectic mix of people, from wizards to newbies. Does anyone have a picture of Prince playing ping pong? I'd love to put a poster up on the wall as inspiration. Already planning an all night purple paisley ping pong pyjama party phundraiser for Friday April 21, 2017. Not yet decided on the charity to support, probably something local related to youth. I love the Xmas deco ideas, thanks for those. | |

I've been doing whatever I want to and stopped worrying about what other people think of me. Well, within reason I have a family to support and a demanding job but still - he's made me stronger. | |

Some of these have inspired me to think more too. A few things I will add: I have also been caring less about what others think of me. I am realizing more and more that it is okay to be myself. When I go food shopping I have rarely been buying meat 🙂 I've been wanting to dress better and take care of myself more But mostly I've been realizing how important it is that I work at my purpose while I'm here on earth. | |

I am passionate about Spreading the Purple Love in his honour. It makes my heart happy. Organized and held two double feature fundraisers for Prince Fams and we raised $1231 for Little Kids Rock - funds donated in Prince's name (I will be posting their letter this weekend for all who contributed). Opened the fundraiser to international fams (info in the marketplace forum) and we are now fundraising to raise that same amount or more for Safe Haven For Youth - homeless shelter in Minnesota (Safehaven.org) - funds to be donated in his name too! 2017 I will change course again and fundraise for an animal sanctuary since that was another important cause near and dear to His heart This week, I also started a fundraiser locally to help raise funds for a holiday dinner for the 70 tenants at the homeless shelter that my sister works at, as she recently told me due to budget cuts they will not have money for a holiday dinner this year. We've raised $155 so far and I'm confident by the end of next week we will raise enough to give them a special meal. Organized the Princely Card Exchange to keep that Purple Love spreading! And, for fun, for me, I've bought some purple decorations and purple stockings this year, the colour scheme will be Purple and Gold,

I am a teacher and this week I played "Starfish and Coffee" during transitions in the classroom, such as cleaning up and rotating between learning stations. I also wrote the lyrics of the chorus up on the board. And I credited the song to him by writing By: Prince Live 4 Love ~ Love is God, God is love, Girls and boys love God above | |

. I teach k-1 students who have autism. Playing his kid-appropriate songs are 1 way I can expose the younger generation to his music.
