When u click on the link I posted it takes u to a page that says 3 month free for being fan of some band I never heard of LOL, I was able 2 sign up and got a free acct till december 2015...

If you're only paying for the Prince CD, then yeah I agree. But there's a massive library there for on demand listening. I've quite enjoyed my free month, I've listened to more music than I have in a long time. I recently had a holiday in Florida and downloaded a load of stuff for offline listening for the flights, it's worked out well for me.

Have I enjoyed it enought to pay for it after my free trial? Not sure but I think I might miss it..

I have 2 physical copies... I just did the free trial to see what else they have and it's pretty nice, they have a lot of music I would not buy that I can find easily and listen to and 3month free is pretty nice

The Twin Cities is going to be hosting an uprising Star, Ms Lianne LaHavas. I hope lots are there to represent and come back with good reviews. I didn't plan to miss this, I'm sure it's gonna be' Kinda Wonderful' and Amazing!! Lianne has such a beautiful voice, a live stream would be kind of wonderful too.

DVD? 11 years and counting since the last half assed one? I think that's right. Prince obviously can't afford the CGI to smooth out his face like he can with photoshop.

In two years, I'll probably be able to get it out of the bargain bin for $2 like I did with lotusflow3r

To be serious, a month of Tidal is the same price as a CD. If you buy one new album a month, it basically pays for itself. I'm not too worried about ownership since I already digitized my music staples years ago. I didn't play my AOA or Plectrum Electrum CDs once while the included MP3s were in heavy rotation at my house.

I haven't given Tidal a single dollar and I've already listened to a bunch of new albums (including Prince's), a few old favorites, watched a De La Soul concert and saw a full Rihanna concert live from Brazil in HD...it's been money well spent.

So far we have some b-artist Prince related acts and presumeably 'if it'll make u happy' whatever that is. Tidal will be over soon as far as I'm concerned.
