The fact that Prince released Free Urself less than a month after HitnRun begs the question:
Is Prince going to use Tidal as if it's his dream outlet of music?
Meaning, with Warner Brothers, it is well known he would be sick and tired of promoting his 'old' music because he had already written new music by the time the album was ready to be released. With Tidal, Prince can streamline new music just as fast as he writes it which is what he's always dreamed of doing!
It would be nice for us 'fams' if he dropped a few old gems from his Vault. But he probably won't do that without 'touching up' the old vault songs. In the mean time, lets hope he keeps on streamining new music just as fast as he records it. He must have struck a deal he is happy with in Tidal.
