I didn't know "Fallinlove2nite" wasn't poduced by Prince, until I've read this thread. But I like the song a lot, much more than any of the other joints he's been releasing lately.

we've heard 6 of those either as singles, snippets or PA recordings from concerts.

whitecaps and tictactoe were described in one of the album previews and sounded

pretty cool.

he seems to have taken FunkNRoll off the album since it's now being previewed as

a song on his own solo album. so that leaves only 3 songs we know for sure prince

is singing lead on.

so perhaps he's also switched Whitecaps and TicTacToe to his own album and made

the 3EG album much more of a 3EG project rather than a Prince & 3EG one, so it's

less distracting as a release and might have a better chance of getting one now he's

also got to shop around his own solo project whilst the PR remaster is on the horizon.

i'm still hoping "2Y2D" will end up on an album, i liked that one a lot. both the

studio version he previewed at the Dakota, and perhaps even more the live

version with 3EG.

Unless the album has changed a lot, the MOJO interviewer said Prince did all lead vocals on the Plectrumelectrum album, which would mean songs with others on lead wouldn't be on there, so that takes away 'We Ain't Turn Around' and 'Stop This Train'.

From what I've heard (live boot) it's a fast paced song, which sounds a bit like Johnny B Goode. I like it. Decipherable lyrics, 'lost my job at Mickey D's, gave away too much food for free', 'everyone in the world wants to be star, but who's got what it takes to get that far?' 'Never really happy... You're never really happy' (I really like how he sings that line) and 'a brother might move, might move to Marz'. It has lyrics about robbing stuff and going to jail that I can't quite make out. Some great guitar playing, but then again, a studio version might sound much tamer.

Seems to be the same Marissa who was working the mic, cane and skirt at Ziggo Dome during the tour.

If I'm correct she is also sitting next to him in the infrared sessions pic.
