30 bones.
Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

Liv and the Hornz play at North Sea Jazz in Rotterdam Holland on july 13 just before Outkast. For people who love this certainly worth thinking about.

Anyone who has attended able to say whether kids are typically allowed. Haven't been to PP since 2004 and they were then. Happen to be in town for a graduation and would live for the kids to at least see the inside. So many great memories inside that place from the celebrations.

Glad to see a show going on there...really sad I can't make it. I hope there is something again next week!

Yes, kids are allowed...and generally, the show/atmosphere is family friendly. The Paisley staff are always very professional and courteous (sp?). My only suggestion is to possibly bring ear plugs for the kids. When the DJ is playing, it's not too bad, but when a band starts playing, it seems to get significantly louder!

Have fun...I hope to see everyone out there next week? lol

Thanks PHD - literally been a decade since I was at PP for the final celebration. Can't pass an opportunity to pop in at least for some dancing.

I saw Liv Warfield open for Prince in March. She was great! Anyone who attends should enjoy the show.

I posted a link to Liv's Luminato concert in Assoc. Artists, in case anyone's interested:

Really hope to see them perform soon. The Luminato performance was brilliant.

Great concert last night by Liv! Very small crowd though, which was a shame -- maybe because of the short notice? Cannot say that I cared much for the DJ and would have liked to have heard more Prince tunes like at other PPADs. There seemed to be some delays in getting the show started. Liv with Blackbird and the NPG hornz took the stage about 12:15am and played until 1:30am. The crowd was small but enthusiastic, and Liv gave it her all! Several songs from the new CD, ending with Why Do You Lie and Blackbird, if I remember correctly. Backup singers, guitarist, NPG horns -- everyone was great. I heard that Prince popped in and out of the crowd but never saw him myself, as I was concentrating on Liv. What a powerful performer. Wish more people could have been there to experience Liv Warfield at Paisley Park!

Thanks for the report...

Wish I could've made it.

Wonder why it was such short notice. I just saw it yesterday the day of the show. shrug

Liv is an awesome performer and artist but it is tough to get a big crowd for someone with no songs on the radio while charging $30 on very short notice. I wish Prince and the girls would just do a monthly show at Paisley with someone like Liv for an opener. They would pack the place to capacity each time.

It's Father's Day weekend, lots of people go out of town or have plans in the city

, plus a short notice!

I'm sure it was amazing!

The crowd was small. The lot at Paisley Park wasn't even full. Good to see DJ Brother Jules again. He used to be Prince's DJ back in the 90s. I'm not a big fan of Liv, but the girl can sang. The horns sounded much better than when I saw them last year out there with Prince. Prince was working the soundboard. Was hoping to pick up a CD, but they didn't have any. Sometimes I wonder where these people learn their marketing skills.

maybe cds would be too xpected, hehe, i would have wanted one, too. personally she's my favorite singer prince has ever worked with. her voice has awesome emotion and she just seems so humble and mature. shes got what it takes to be whatever she wants to be. only my lack of saving skills kept me from making the trip. funk!

Several of us were talking to Liv after the concert and mentioned that it was too bad that her CD was not for sale. She seemed surprised, and soon after there were CDs available on the table -- I bought one!
