Thanks! I edited my posting. But with the new situation now, that he's coming to France (Arras), Belgium and Denmark, it seems that a solution has been found, doesn't it? [Edited 4/20/10 8:26am] Get sexy sex, get funky at... The ORANGE Park - Funky President, people, it's bad!

[Edited 4/20/10 8:26am] frankly, I doubt it. he seems so completely disconnected from reality that I doubt he even realizes one might impact the other. I just happened to be watching the Prince-related portion of An Evening With Kevin Smith the other night, and something stuck out to me, when Kevin says Prince's assistant told him "Prince doesn't comprehend things the way you and I do [...] Prince has been living in Prince World for quite some time now. So Prince will come to us periodically and say things like: 'It's 3 in the morning in Minnesota. I really need a camel. Go get it.' And then we try to explain to Prince, like: 'Prince, it's 3:00 in the morning in Minnesota, it's January. . . and you want a camel. That is not physically or psychologically possible.' And Prince says, 'Why?"' It made me think about all the wackiness that's been going on with him this year, and I really think he has no idea. [Edited 4/20/10 8:38am]

I think she just meant it as an example. Since Big Chick once said that he used Chick's ability to do anything P asked as an example for other employees to follow. He said that P said "If I wanted an elephant in the room this guy "Big Chick" would get it for me and the rest of you need to follow his example" I thing the Elephant/Camel thing is just a way of explaining that P has high and unrealistic expectations from his staff. I am sure this is not unlike a lot of the super weathly. They are not like us and they do not do things like everyone else and they have the money to get away with it.

You know this could be the next chapter of the crazy Prince show.
He won't pay up and be told he cannot come to europe for his announced gigs. Thus pissing his last remaining fans off when he cancels the gigs. Now, I know this much, if he does not pay, he could be arrested in Europe. This was a court decision not a tabloid scandal. Look at Roman Polanski. Prince has to pay this if those gigs are going to happen. "My God it's full of Stars"

Prince has to pay this if those gigs are going to happen. I have a feeling that a payment will be made right before he leaves for his current tour and that the purpose of this European tour is - well - it's the "Fuck You Dublin" Tour isn't it? Denmark and Paris were rumoured (briefly listed) to be next on the same tour MCD got the go ahead on and now he plays for the promoters of those countries (who didn't go ahead and sell tix) and leaves MCD in the cold. That's a Prince move to me.

Thats the whole point. You're not supposed to "get it". It's not your business. Don't worry if Prince has or has'nt paid his taxes. Just worry about you and yours. I don't see why all of a sudden Prince's financial affairs have anything to do with his fans. Prince is a big boy. And if he isn't, there are penalties to pay for all of us who don't pay. Let's concentrate on the positive. The music, performances and the future. Peace. Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews.

As in "I couldn't give two shits about you MCD". Hmmm.. The "Fuck You Dublin" Tour. I like that, t-shirt anyone? "My God it's full of Stars"

In an imaginary world where Prince was forced to drive a Hyundai and shop at Walmart, like the rest of us, I think we'd be getting some extremely interesting music from him (first time in many years). Wish this would happen. We would get songs like "Blue Light Special Blues" "Kiss my *** I got a coupon" "Purple Rain Hair Spray's on special" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! OMG That made me almost piss my panties.
