Exactly, (didn't know he played Rock Lobster, man has good taste) and obviously its innately better in form than B-52s. Prince is a really good natural talent. The form is tight and fun. The four note hook "synth lyric" is dark but funny. As I said, its catchy. This reminds me of when he came out with "Kiss" and freaked everybody out. He's been playing an Anotherloverholenyohead/Rock Lobster mash-up since...hmmm...2006-ish? Still, he's contemplating an "old" road which is full of possibilities he explored but didn't exploit. Its nice to see him at least nodding toward this road even though most likely he will continue along the closed-minded JW path. JWs have no business in the arts when it comes down to it. Its all secular in their opinion. The sooner P gets booted from that religion the better. | |

i think this is something in the same vein as "get off/lubricated lady" and "s.t.t/brand new orleans". it's probably an external instrumental portion flowing out of a track on the mpls album, most likely "chocolate box" since it contains many elements and a similar melody to that song. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps | |
