this is just the backing track from Chocolate Box with a lot of over dubbed noodling on the guitar and keys much like the second part of S.S.T., Brand New Orleans. I'm not sure if there's any need for all this analyzing.

Trickology

People who think this song is refreshing jam probably have not experienced any single straight to video/basic cable cinemax "Cinemax after Dark" film. But im about to save you some time. Because this is exactly what it is.

This is the type of music you would hear while a girl strips for a curious Gold's Gym Lifetime member co-worker and he ogles her body with a gawk dork stare while she dances out of rhythm to DiscoJellyFish. And then she says something like "Have you ever tried the Disco Jelly Fish" And then she does the foreplay dance and the male coworker acts amazed.

Anyone who likes this and thinks it showcases Prince's genius, you are being played for a sucker. You can get music/tracks/instrumentals like this on any basic cable skin flick and a ton of sound libraries. In fact I could trick you all into putting up a track and saying "new crazy instrumental prince track" And alot of people would say it was the most daring track Prince had ever crafted since SOTT. It will turn out not to be Prince, but to be "Anal Invaders 4: Rectum Rangers on the Prairie" by Steve Johnson of Sensual Seductive Sound Productions from 1992. You see, it's the placebo effect. You love Prince, so you will instantly love the track. Change the name and put someone else and you won't be so crazy about it. You might even insult it, say it sounds like a generic prince track. I know because I have seen this shit happen.

P.S. I dont know how he could sound like like Prince covering Soundclick/mp3.com trying to sound like Prince all at once. The only thing creative about this track is he uses Real guitar tracks. Which come to think of it, that could be considered creative in 2009. Anyone who thinks I dont have a point, after wandering through any video studio early nineties sound library, and then hearing disco jellyfish, you're only fooling yourself.

Sorry I ginsu'd you fans praising this track. But every once n awhile it's good to breathe some oxygen that isn't tainted with purple.

This PSA has been brought to you by GINSU: When it needs to be filleted, demand the best.

Actually no you watch those films when you are a kid to be curious. Just like Prince did when he was rifling through his moms porn before he turned jehovah on us. Oh yea, that's inconvenient because Prince was way more into it than I was. Hey, thats probably where he got the musical idea from it his vault of eighties straight to video sensual erotica. He may have even plagerized Steve Johnson of Sensual Seductive Sounds Productions. (im making the name up, people) That's probably a more convincing case than than legal dispute in Italy. Hmm, the placebo effect is a bitch. Gotta love it though lol cool

Here's something you can be in disbelief of. A artist who demands attention at every piece of work like it's a visionary event for the masses. And if you don't pay attention to it, then that's because you don't like real musicians. Now that's a hot mess. This is the website that demanded everyone to pay attention to? This is it? Wow 3 pieces of Flash and a black backdrop. No one has anything ground breaking and pioneering like that. Oh wait, like everyone since early 2000. Okay, just checking. Well, some people just desperate for headlines. What can you do?

Nothing and that's fine. It is what it is. I'm a little disappointed too but I'm not going hysterical like you are. Something will come soon enough. Either you'll check it out or you won't. I know I will. This isn't life or death here. It's just a website. When something new comes up, I'll check it out. Simple as that.
