Plus in Atlanta he had a massive ego with everyone telling him how great he was and he probably didn't put in the work he has now. He won't have such an ego in Philly because he knows you have a few bad games the crowd will turn on you quick. He won't be flipping fans the middle finger in Philly. He wouldn't get out of that stadium alive. Don't laugh at my funk

Damn was Edwards that bad. 49ers have been the biggest disappointment of the season. They can still turn it around if they play up to their potential but they won't have a lot of room for error. Singletary has to get some wins. Don't laugh at my funk

If he continues to have a solid season. he'll get a nice contract from some team in 2011. Lot of teams need a solid QB.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Some team? Shit if he leads Philly to the playoffs and get a win or two he won't be going anywhere but there is still a lot of football to be played. We just have to wait and see how this season plays out. Don't laugh at my funk

Yes it's early but Vick has a chance to get a huge payday next year (if there's football)...what he's doing behind that O-line is amazing and teams have noticed... Eagles might try to get him on a hometown discount....

I'm really glad Michael is doing so well. But I hope Donovan tears them up next week on GP. Plus, I'll be in Philly for the game to cheer them both on. I'm sooo conflicted.

same here. I've been a philly fan for as long as I can remember, but now I don't know who to root for. McNabb has always been my favorite player and I'd love for him to be successful in Washington but fact of the matter is, they're far away from a contending team. On the other hand, the Eagles have a chance to be playoff sleeper as everyone predicted the cowboys, saints and packers to be the main contedners for the NFC title.

You're coming here for the game?..this really is a big thing...A national story... It's gonna be crazy here in Philly all week..

Yep! My honey surprised me with this trip over the weekend.
My friends keep calling me a traitor cuz their both in the NFC East teams. But I really can't get behind the Cowboys this year.

Hope you have a great time up here...I hope you're not wearing a Mc Nabb jersey..he's public enemy #1 this week..lol And you're right about the cowboys..something's missing..a heart..cajones...coaching..idk

Hell naw, I ain't crazy. Ya'll don't play. I remember when homegirl got hit in her head for wearing a Romo jersey. And yeah, I've BEEN saying Romo ain't got no heart OR balls and the OC has gotta go. I wanted Jerry to get Vick as a back up when he was available cuz I knew he was gonna be good.

Ried can develop QB's..that's what made Vick better..that wouldn't have happend in Dallas Y'all just need to be a run oriented team..Felix and Marion deserve more touches

And Choice. I can't believe they only avg 36 rushing yds in the first two games but 400+ yds in passing. I HATE Garrett's ass. You're right about Reid, but Mike has heart and hustle which will take you a long way with that kinda natural talent. Romo doesn't, he's so passive and lazy. His post game interviews after losses make me wanna shank his ass.

Cowboys have the most talent in the division. If they can get their shit together, they'll win 11, 12 games. DeMarcus Ware is a fucking beast, and the offense is loaded(this Dez Bryant kid can be a superstar). Eagles will finish second, with the Giants and 'Skins at the bottom.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
True, but Romo will not be able to rein DezB in. That kid ain't got no respect and it will become an issue. But he do got heart. Love him already. They gave him the right jersey #.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
Well, the leaders in that locker room have to step up and show this kid the way to go. You'd hate to see him blow it with all that talent. With him, Roy, Miles, Witten and those three backs, Cowboys have no excuse. Too bad Sean Peyton's not running that offense.
Sobering numbers for the Giants....
Giants are -4 in turnover ratio, good for 27th in NFL
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
What the hell is wrong with the Giants D. Maybe they do miss their former defensive coordinator. With talent like Justin Tuck, Osi U, Mathias, and Keith Bullock how is this happening. Even with the offense stumbling and bumbling you expect the GMen defensive unit to be better. Don't laugh at my funk

Ex-Cowboys receiver Patrick Crayton is in a war of words with his new coach in San Diego. Crayton, who was traded by the Cowboys just before the season, blasted his Chargers' special teams unit for not taking their jobs seriously. The Seahawks' Leon Washington ran back two kicks (101 and 99 yards) for touchdowns to help Seattle upset the the Chargers 27-20 on Sunday. "Right now, (special teams) coach (Steve) Crosby is (ticked) off. I don't blame him," Crayton said after the game. "The guys who are sitting in the meetings are not taking him seriously when he tells you to do a certain thing on a kickoff. He's been in this league I don't know how many years. He's been around a while for a reason, obviously. You have to take this stuff seriously." Responding to the critical comments, San Diego head coach Norv Turner told Crayton to stifle himself. "Patrick is new to our organization," Turner said on Monday. "And I don't think you'll hear any other comments about it from Patrick. He knows now that the way we handle things is in-house." Turner has reportedly met with the veteran receiver. "I think Patrick understands I am the spokesman in terms of how we're handling things," Turner said on Monday.

True. I'm really curious as to see how the Eagles will do in their meetings with the Cowboys this time around. Last year was pretty damn bad....Still, even if the cowboys get on a roll and take the division, the Eagles can still pull out the wildcard depending on what goes on in the NFC North. The Falcons don't look like slouches either....
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I don't see a wildcard coming from the NFC West, but it's going to get crazy in the other divisions.

It's been a great week for Dallas receiver Roy Williams.

Jets picked up Trevor Pryce off waivers from Baltimore.
Packers FS Nick Collins was seen throwing an unknown object at a Bears' fan while leaving the field following the Packers' 20-17 loss.

Trevor Pryce is done. Maybe Rex thinks he can get another run out of him. There may be something to the Collins incident. I remember seeing a couple of the GB staff shouting back at the fan. Don't laugh at my funk

Been a great AND terrible season so far. Great because there's been a ton of really high quality play, most of which I've been able to watch live on NFL RedZone. BEST! CHANNEL! EVER! Terrible because I'm a diehard 49ers fan... wth happened there?!?! I'd like to take credit right now for saying the Steeler's would pull through just fine without Big Ben. That team is just really solid mentally and has a ton of heart. ...unlike some others I can think of.

The steelers needed a good start. After the Ravens, they have a bye week then the Browns at home before 3 sick straight road games at Miami, at New Orleans, at Cincinnati. Don't laugh at my funk
