Good win for the Giants. Hope Cutler is okay.

Disappointed the steel men couldn't hold on against the Ratbirds but 3-1 the

first 4 games without Big Ben. I'll take it.

Did not expect such a lopsided win for the Patriots. In fact, I really didn't expect a win at all. Offensively the Dolphins did a lot more, but the turnovers/special teams killed them. I don't know that I've seen such a lopsided-win where the stats looked so much stronger on the loser's side (except those 3 INTs).

I know. I had 3 pats players(Brady, Welker, and Hernandez) and Ronnie Brown of the Dolphins

all playing for me tonight in my fantasy football league and neither one of them done

shit for me. I still lost my matchup by 4 points.

The Buffalo Bills contacted the Philadelphia Eagles about a possible trade for Markshawn Lynch...
Eagles starting RB Lasean "Shady" Mc Coy will be out indefinitely with a broken rib...

If I were the Eagles, I'd do it and low-ball the desperate Bills...

The Seattle Seahawks have pulled off quite the coup. FOXSports.com has learned that the Seahawks have reached a trade with the Buffalo Bills for former first-round pick running back Marshawn Lynch.

The Seahawks give up a fourth-round pick in the 2011 NFL draft and a conditional latter-round pick in 2012. There were several teams linked to wanting to acquire Lynch, among them the Packers and the Eagles. The Seahawks tried prior to April’s NFL draft to acquire the former Cal running back. Up until this point, the Bills had held firm against all suitors, but Seattle finally got them to make a move.

Lynch has 2,765 career rushing yards with 17 TDs on the ground. Lynch's numbers declined after a breakout rookie year in 2007, when he rushed for 1,115 yards.

Lynch was made expendable with the drafting of first-round pick C.J. Spiller.

This season, Lynch leads the Bills in carries with 37 for 164 yards, while Spiller and fellow running back Fred Jackson have a combined 34 carries for 136 yards.

Spiller's made his presence felt in the passing game as well, catching 12 passes for 45 yards and a touchdown to Lynch's one catch for 7 yards. The Bills rookie running back is also a threat in kick returns, having returned 17 kicks for 484 yards, including a 95-yard touchdown.

That wasn't a coup if they had to give up two picks for him...

Good job by Buffalo ..I think the Eagles was only willing to give up a fifth....

Seattle released Julius Jones to make room....

VERY good move by the vikings. Just in time as well. I was worried for them after they didn't get VJax, but this is great.

I know, what happened? Were the New England front office put off with Moss's public demand for a raise? The won without him but Randy Moss to me really has underachieved his whole career, his name should be mentioned in the same sentence a Jerry Rice but it won't be. (IMHO)

Randy Moss is one of the best ever, when he wants to be. Randy Moss is an underachiever, when he wants to be. Statistically he'll go down as one of the best ever (but possibly without a ring). But he's quit on plays, games and even teams, which will forever be part of his legacy. Jerry Rice never quit a single play in his entire career, even when his body would no longer do what his mind wanted.

Belichick is either a complete genius or the biggest egomaniacal twit in the history of the NFL. A great system will bring you wins, but you need great players to go all the way.

However, Moss was right about the Pats not paying, because they don't. I fully expect Brady to be gone after his most recent extension as well if Belichick is still their coach. Nobody has ever done what this team is doing. Nobody has let as much talent go as this team. A lot of teams hold on to players a couple years too long. Some of them keep players way too long out of a sense of loyalty. Not the Patriots. But now they've got EIGHT pics in the first four rounds next year, which is damn near unheard of.

Do they have enough talent to get them through this year as a contender? I don't think so, not without Moss spreading the field, pulling double coverage. But maybe, only time will tell. Regardless, lets say they make the playoffs this year, draft well and Moss falls off a bit over the next couple seasons. Belichick will AGAIN look like a genius.

I do think it's possible some of those draft pics could be going to San Diego for Vincent Jackson, though. nod

Belichick has always stockpiled picks - dude is a mad genius. You have to keep replenishing your talent in this brutal sport, and no one does it like him. Pats will be fine - shit, they won championships without a big-time WR.

Steelers are like the Pats, too. They're not afraid to let talent go.

Totally agree - but because of that most teams also hold on to their talent. Not the Pats. Never seen one team let so many players go who still had years left to give to the game.

Belichick's ego is definitely a part of it. It started with him turning down the Jets job that

Parcells handpicked him as successor. Yes Billy is good at stockpiling picks for the future but

shit is he gonna coach another 10 years. I doubt it. He basically just cost the Pats a shot at

winning it all this year with this move unless he pull a coup and get a Vincent Jackson. I think

the defense is still too green and that little smart move of dealing Richard Seymour last season

will bite them in the ass again you know just like they could have used him when Ray Rice

ran wild over them in the playoff loss to the Ravens last year.

I'm not doing handstands over the Giants yet this year. They're a team with a lot of holes and NINE starters battling injuries. Let's see what they do against the 3-1 Texans.

I'm interested to see how Randy Moss's return to Minnesota pans out.

I hope Brett don't get pass happy all of a sudden and don't forget

this is Adrian Petersen's team.

I'm thinking... maybe even HOPING, that his presence will work to spread the field and open everything else up. Should open up the short passes for the tightends over the middle. Should open up the field for their other wide receivers when they put both of them opposite Moss (because he'll be double teamed). All of that should open up the running game for Petersen because opposing teams won't be crowding the box. If Rice can come back healthy in a few weeks all of that will work even better.

The problem is that they need to win NOW, and that's going to be hard to do against the super confident Jets this weekend. I could see Favre forcing some passes if they're behind to the Jets. If they lose I could see that trend continuing. But in theory, Moss should be a huge help.

I don't see that happening. They're never really trailing by too much, the Defense has pretty much kept them in all the games so far, it's been the offense that's been blowing it. With the Bears coming down to earth, the packers losing yet another key player; the vikings have a real good shot to get back into this season.

I was shocked too but it goes to show you anything can happen in the NFL.

The 49ers have to be the biggest disappointment in the league this season so

far. You can add the Cowboys and Bengals too but i think the 49ers were handpicked

to runaway with the weak NFC West. Where the hell did Brandon Lloyd get game from?

He was mediocre when he played in Frisco.

The teams we thought would be the class of the NFC(Green Bay, New Orleans, Dallas, Minnesota) are struggling. It's wide open now.
