Grey what do you think of the Bears effort yesterday?

I'll take as many victories as I can get.......but Lovie Smith still stinks as a coach.

As usual, Chicago fans act like the Bears just won the Superbowl. It's game 2.

It's still early in the season but i told you before the season started the Bears are

easily a nine win team and if they avoid the injury bug could win a couple more.

Say what you want to about Lovie Smith. He may not be a good head coach but

one thing he knows is defense and he knows how to turn Julius Peppers loose and

let him play his game something John Fox was often criticized for in Charlotte.

Impressive win by the Jets. Defense played well without Revis and the coaches finally let Sanchez do his thing.

Speaking of defense Uptown. What do you think about the Steelers defense against Tennessee

yesterday. I didn't think Chris Johnson would get 100 yards but damn the steelers linebackers

really punished him yesterday. I saw Lawrence Timmons square up and punish him twice.

Thank god for the defense because the offense was horrible. Batch stats would have been better

if his o line would have protected better and Hines and Mike Wallace would have held on to key

catches. With all the talk about the Ravens, Jets, and Bengals D it looks like the Steelers D

is playing with a chip on it's shoulder.

Lol.......as I stated before. I hope that u are correct. I'll believe it when I see it.

They were 3-1 last year before the schedule caught up 2 them.

Steeler defense was STOUT yesterday. They've done an excellent job of holding the fort. If Pittsburgh is 3-1 or 4-0 heading into the bye, they're in great shape when Big Ben comes back.

Rumor in NY has Brandon Jacobs asking for a trade.

If the QB continues to be successful I hope they keep him on the field instead of putting Ben in.

Oh well, guess Dixon is out for awhile. They didn't show the game here so I didn't know he got hurt. pout

Yeah what's up with Jacobs. This guy was a beast 2 years ago. I wouldn't hit the panic

button yet because the Colts can make a lot of teams look bad when they are on but i

just hope that Coughlin doesn't lose this team early.

I also told you i wasn't drinking the Minnesota kook aid this season. Still solid on defense

but issues on offense. This has to be Petersen's team this season. Mr. Wrangler won't come

close to duplicating what he did last season. He's been a turnover machine in two games so far.

Did you see this guy after the game say it will take time getting acquainted with some

of the new recievers? Well if he would have brought his ass to training camp the process

may have been easier. I believe Brad Childress ass is on the line this season with this

annual cat and mouse game with Favre.

This could be a trap game for the Steelers(if looking ahead to Baltimore). Tampa is pretty good on defense. I don't wish

Dixon no ill will but i sure as hell don't want to see him play against Tampa or the Ratbirds

the following week. Dixon is one dimensional and doesn't see the field well yet. He telegraphs

his throws and doesn't go through his progressions. At first i was hoping the Steelers came out

of this suspension mess 2-2. Now i'm greedy let's keep it going. I just don't think Dixon gives

them the best chance at qb.

I did not see it but u are right. That is part of what training camp is about.

Plus, no one is going to pay him $5 mil to dance and throw his helmet. . . . .

If this is true there should be disciplinary action looming according to deputy Goodell.

This is Edwards second offense concerning the personal conduct code.
