Oh yeah Randy's upset about the Oprah shit too. He tweeted about it a few hours ago.

I'm so glad the true MJ fans have some idea of what is going on here with The Jackson Fam/Randy

because it would sadden me to think, even they believed a lot of this BS that is being created

for the sake of....MONEY. As for the mass public believing Michael was a druggie and this that

and the other...some things never change. I'm glad at least the true fans finally have a tad

bit of clarity of how things are going, "behind the scenes."

I am sorry, I don´t understand this. Does it mean that Mike contributed so much that it could be said that he wrote it or that he didn´t contribute enough to be credited as the author?

My bad. I meant that he had advised her, but not enough to snag any songwriting credits.

Thanks.

Glad to see that the kids weren't interviewed.

then angry reaction tweets from the late superstar's brother, Randy Jackson, should be.

"I found out Oprah was at our family home, my stomach ached and it still hasn't gone away," the second-youngest Jackson sibling revealed. "I had no prior knowledge this was going to happen. It was deliberately kept from me because they knew I would have tried to stop it."

Randy believes the entire family, especially Michael's three children, should be in an Oprah-free zone due to the host's past attitude toward his brother.

"I know how Oprah feels about my brother and family," the singer wrote. "I also know that he would not have wanted this. In fact, she is the last person on earth he would want around his children. I can never forget when she had the show on pedophilia during the jury deliberation process in my brother's Santa Maria case. That was no coincidence."

Well I certainly hope this is the truth, however I still think that the "source" who said O interviewed MJ3 came from someone within the Jackson family. So either someone planted this false rumor on purpose in order to drum up publicity for the interview, or Oprah really did in fact interview the kids and Taj is wrong...and seeing as how Randy supposedly didnt even know about the Oprah interview taking place, who knows? confused This is turning into a circus already...

I understand why some MJ fans are up in arms about all this stuff concerning the

writing of "Man In The Mirror" and hope at some point, what Michael actually contributed

as far as ideas can be talked about in depth. However let me share a story.

I remember back in like 1999 or 2000, a few people from my high school were waiting for

a class to start or something, and I was talking with my friend. My friend went to run to the bathroom and from across the hall I heard their conversation. It was about, "Man In The Mirror."

One of them said, "You know, all jokes aside about Michael and the mirror, and the surgeries, "Man In The Mirror" is a really powerful and life-changing song, with a great message. And he totally recorded that song from his heart on that song."

The reason I bring this up is because...

I think this whole business about who wrote it is kinda moot point. The people who admire Michael

will respect his talent, no matter if he wrote it or not. The people who look to knock him will always

have the cop out of, "Well he didn't write it." At the end of the day, Siedah wrote the song, with Michael's help, but would it have sold and inspired all those people it did, and continues to do had

Michael not recorded it? Hell no. It is a MICHAEL JACKSON song.

Along those same lines, at the end of the day, the average listener will consider that song

a "Michael Jackson classic" and that is how it should be.

At the end of the day, the only people who really care are fans, stans, haters, & industry. The finished product is most important. You never see someone in the club going "Oh damn that song is hot. Who wrote it?" I just wanted some clarification on the issue since there are contradictory stories out there. If this matters to someone then fine. If it doesn't, then that's okay too.

I just think that this story helps to paint a picture of how he worked in the studio. It shows that he was an active participant in the recording of his materials rather than some puppet who let Quincy Jones write all of his material, which is a rather popular, albeit wrong, opinion

Believe me, I love that you posted that and that you care about knowing all the nitty-gritty details.

I do too. I want a Michael Jackson con with panels of people talking about this stuff. Put crazy Q

and Siedah, then have another with Teddy and Rodney, and maybe get the Estate in on it and have

Branca and perhaps even DiLeo involved in one. That would be a fascinating day!!!

And yes, I agree. Michael needs all the credit he can get, because people love to just say, he was

Q's puppet. Really then explain Dangerous being the crazy amazing album it was? Yeah shudup!

That was Michael, without Q and it turned out damn good biggrin

^^ Man in the Mirror - it's good to see that MJ contributed arrangement/lyrics to the track but that he was gracious enough to see that it was SG/GB song and didn't do what many artists do and that is "change a word, claim a third" - that is when others write a song for them, they might say oh change this word to baby, or add a la la here or there and then they get a song writing credit.

Man in the Mirror is a powerful song both for the actual composition, but also for the arrangement and delivery of the song which when compared to the demo is all MJ.

Whether or not it's true, I can totally picture Joe Jackson acting this way with Oprah. If he aint chasing Michael's dough, he may as well chase after the richest woman in the world.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oprah Winfrey's personal space was violated during her visit to the Jackson house last week -- and TMZ has learned the culprit was none other than Papa Joe himself.

Sources close to the Big O tell TMZ Joe was all over the talk show queen when she came over to conduct a sit-down interview with the family at their Encino home.

We're told Joe was tailing Oprah all over the house -- almost like a second shadow -- so Oprah's assistant stepped in and asked the guy to back off.

Joe obliged, we're told -- and kept a polite distance for the rest of the visit.

Diana Ross' son Evan Ross spoke about MJ in an interview recently.

ESSENCE.com: One of your inspirations is Michael Jackson. What's your favorite memory of Michael?
ROSS:
You know Michael -- even in the last few years, the last year and the last months of his life -- we were very close. He was like a brother to me. For me, think the best moments were when he would tell me stories about how my mom used to take him on trips and things like that. It was the only time he really had where he wasn't working on music. He would talk about these vacations and things he had with mom and how amazing they were. He felt she was like his second mom. He always felt like that -- even in the later years. He was somebody who was so caring that he cared more about other people more than himself. I just feel like it's important for people to really know that.

Bob Desmond on Michael:

'This was the first time that I photographed Michael Jackson! Boy was I nervous! This was at the height of his career! And, the Disney publicity department wanted me to shoot black & white, color negative and color slides! I had to put him through all of those different films! Just crazy to ask him to oblige. Michael arrived as if the President of the United States were arriving. He had his entourage and bodyguards, and some friends. It was quite nerve racking. All of that said, once I put the camera up to my eye, it was just another very fast publicity photo shoot. What you don't see in this photo are the THOUSANDS of Michael Jackson fans, down below of the berm that we were shooting on. It was pretty unbelievable. After the shoot, we went to see Captain EO together as a group! After the show loaded with guests, and their 3D eyeglasses were on, our group including Michael slipped into the back of the darkened theater, unnoticed. We sat in the last row of the theater, about a dozen of us! It was one of the coolest moments of my career working for Disney. I actually sat with Michael and watched the show in which he starred in, Captain EO!!! Can you imagine if the guests knew that he was in the audience with them? We left the theater just before the show ended. Nobody in the theater had any idea that we were even there. Michael was a nice guy. He loved Disney World and DIsneyland. I photographed him on 2 other occasions during my tenure as a Senior Photographer with Disney. May he rest in peace. On the technical side, I shot this with a Hasselblad, Plux X film, ASA100, Metz flash."

It should be coming out, the Michael Jackson Experience, which I got to see in action at the NYCC this past weekend (fucking awesome game), is also going to be released around that time as well. Also, Greg Phillinganes said it was coming out and he had heard some of it. He said that there was this one song where Michael was making some alien like coughing sound or something. ಠ_ಠ

Also, why do any of the Jackson family think that they are going to vindicate Michael through this interview? Did they forget Michael tried that back in 2003 and look where it got him. Even if Oprah is black or whatever, she is still a journalist who is more interested in making money for her corporate sponsors than the well being of this family or anyone else. She is going to look out for numero uno FIRST and foremost. Unless they air it live she and her people still have the power of editing. You would be surprised what some editing can do. This stupidity is killing me.

Michael's kids are going to have to dedicate their entire lives trying to shed a good light on their dad. Well, it's not going to happen until we are all dead. Only then will the gossip and tabloids die out, because no one will be interested in hearing about it anymore. All that will be left is the art, his shrewd sense of business, and, hopefully maybe by some sort of miracle, all of his goodwill. No need to dig everything into a deeper hole than it already is.
