Easy one.

Randy has been, since May 2009 or somewhere near, TMZ's "all things Jackson related" source. Obviously, he was the one who took the photos and sold them to the tabloid. Remember Randy is TMZ's, Radaronline's and X17's main source. I guess he wanted to keep his job as an "insider" and, eventually, his pockets full.

The more I read about him, the more I realize the biggest monster in the Jackson family aren't neither Jermaine nor Joe. It's Randy himself. Evidently, in his twitter -after realizing the fans knew he was TMZ's "inside source", the one providing rumors, photos and so on- Randy immeadiately claimed he had been "caught off guard" by one of TMZ's staff and had "no choice other than say one or two things". The guy is an expert in inventing cover ups. Just to think that, all this time, Michael's own flesh and blood was the tabloids biggest source. Just to think he is even worse than Diane Dimond herself. Just to think it was Randy who came up with the "Michael is a junkie" argument so he could sue AEG and get an enormous payday...sickens me. You can call me a hater, if you want.

This doesnt surprise me, I always had a suspicion that he was the "source" behind the "leaks" to TMZ and Radaronline. He always seemed "off" to me. And doesnt actually Randy live with his mother in the Encino house?

Randy moved to Encino as soon as he heard MJ was dead. In black and white, he moved to his mother's house as soon as he smelled money and as soon as he realized it was time to put shady schemes in pratice, if he wanted to touch some dollars. Who do you think was on clueless Jackson family ears, the entire time?

Interesting. Wonder where he was living before? He doesnt have a job does he? What do the Jacksons do for work and money? Other than giving interviews...

To all who answered my post, thanks a million.

I'm a very devout fan. And I normally don't show my fandom openly. Hell, before Michael's passing, I hid it for 17 years. eek From everyone...my parents, my friends....But when he passed away, I fell apart. The truth came out and my parents were very surprised I was that devoted. They have found it disturbing, but they still tried to understand. But now, they just bother me to no end and think I'm crazy. Well, now I remember why I kept it hidden for so long. I try and avoid the subject with them, but they bring it up and it's like a battlejam in my house. They want me to take my posters down and s**t. Oh well, the price I pay for being a fan.

Thankfully, I'm moving out next September. Maybe I'll finally have some peace then. sigh

I'd like to ask you guys something...how do your families deal with your love for MJ? I mean for his music, his dance, him as a person, and so on? Do they care or do they just leave you alone?

I wish mine would leave me alone. They never do. Always thinking I'm wrong in being so faithful or defending him. So I don't think he was an addict at the time of his passing. I think he's a hero and someone who tried to make the world a better place for all. So much so that he forgot about himself (something I wish he would've taken care of). My parents think that because he was an addict he was a glorified hypocrite. And they want me to "wake-up". What do they know really? They've never been fans...nor ever understood anything related with MJ. mad

So how would you deal with this? I'm used to dealing with haters I come across, but what do you do when they're family? eek

sherry i will say this to u about my family: growing up with my cousins we used 2 get 2gether and be the jackson 5 ..i was micheal, my brother was jermaine and the rest filled out the others ..as time went on i switched to liking prince and that's even harder than being a fan of micheal ..i got ridiculed u name it ..then when the pereception of michael changed my family swung 2 seeing the greatness in prince and left me alone...michael is still regarded in my family as someone sacred and respected for what he's done musically..even a few weeks ago my family through a retirement party for my aunt and the dj put on billie jean, i went inside and started dancing and doing the moonwalk ..i got known as michael jackson 4 the rest of the night which i found amusing since i've been known as prince lol

so take comfort and dare i say defy ur family and wear ur colors proud

I don't give a rats ass what anybody says about him.. I will and always have defended him.

I will go up against anybody for him.. He was human what more can one ask for.

She's Trouble (later given to Scott Baio and Musical Youth)

The Lady In My Life

PYT

Nymphette Lover

Who Do You Know?

Got The Hots

Rolling The Dice

songs for ET Storybook

Someone In The Dark

Heartlight

Make A Wish

Slapstick is basically the same as Hot Street. Same tune different lyrics, just like Starlight and Thriller.
I'd also include Sunset Driver in here - I don't buy that the version on TUC is an OtW out-take. Maybe written back then, but production and instrumentation too similiar to GOt The Hots, Hot Street, Trouble and Niteline.
Also WBSS should be included on this list.

Im fortunate to have been born into a house of MJ fans.

When my mom was little, one day she dressed up as MJ and put on her mother's afro wig

and went to school that way and sang I think it was "Who's Loving You" to all her classmates!

My dad was blessed to be able to attend the Destiny tour in 1979 or 80.

They both often talk about how they grew up on the Jackson 5 in the 70's and how they would sit in front of the tv and watch their performances and cartoons.

They adore Michael, but, nearly as much as I do!

They raised me to love Michael, and his music.

When I was two years old,I can remember having a conversation in the kitchen with my parents about how I was going to marry Michael when I turned twenty.

I was asking my mom questions about marrying a man with a big age difference.

I was positive I was going to marry that man.

My sister loves him too!

I talk about Michael with her more than anyone!

I used to have a bestfriend who after a while became a huge fan.

Ive lost touch with her over the years and often wonder how badly she took the news of Mike's passing.I miss her alot.

I dont really have anyone to talk about Mike with other than my sister.

My friends wouldnt get it,Ive spoken highly about my love for MJ to one of my friends

but I could tell she didnt care that much.I tried to get her to watch some of TII with me,but she declined.

I wont bother to bring Mike up to any other friends,I guess im afraid!

I used to have problems wearing my Mj T-Shirt,because I wasnt into the stares it got!

I really dont dig being stared at.

But during the week of his birthday this year,I decided to get brave, and I wore it a couple of times,

it got me a compliment and that made me feel great,it was so worth it!wink

Sorry for blabing so much!

Winfrey To 'Interview Jackson Kids'

MICHAEL JACKSON's three children are set to break their silence in a candid chat with talk show queenOPRAH WINFREY, according to a new report.

Winfrey visited the late singer's mother Katherine on Saturday (09Oct10) at her Encino, California home, where she interviewed the family matriarch, her husband Joe and took a tour of the property.

But new reports suggest Winfrey also sat down with other members of the family - Jackson's three children, Prince Michael, 13, Paris, 12, and eight-year-old Blanket.

The siblings, who have never been interviewed, are believed to have opened up about their famous dad for Winfrey, who is wrapping up the final season of her hit daytime show.

The episode is due to air in the coming weeks, according to the New York Daily News.

The Thriller star, who died last year (09), went to great lengths to keep his kids shielded from the spotlight, schooling them at home and covering their faces with masks and cloths in public.

- Oprah's final season will feature one of her biggest gets yet. An insider tells us the talk-show diva didn't just sit down with Jackson family matriarch Katherine Jackson, as has previously been reported. According to the source, Winfrey also spoke with Michael Jackson's three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket, who've never been interviewed. Look for the segment to air in a few weeks.

Michael Jackson's parents to appear on Oprah to 'set the record straight' (videos)

Oprah Winfrey's production crew has been seen near Katherine and Joseph Jackson's Encino, Californiahome. Michael Jackson's nephew, Taj Jackson, has confirmed via Twitter that an interview is expected to take place.

When asked by a follower if Taj was aware that Oprah had "disrespected" Michael in the past, he says he is "very aware." He goes on to tweet:

@tajjackson3 I am the first person who is angry at Oprah and how she turned her back at my uncle. However you let things linger and the world believes

@tajjackson3 Talked to my grandma before she did it.We all want to clear MJ's name. That's our first priority. We are trying to set the record straight

@tajjackson3 I personally don't care what Oprah thinks, but I do care what her millions of audience thinks about my uncle. Esp. when it's not true at all

It is uncertain what Taj is alluding to exactly in reference to Oprah turning her back on Michael, but he does say that he did not like the tribute she gave him after his death. Perhaps Katherine and Joe Jackson will also discuss Oprah's interview with Lisa Marie Presley in which Oprah and Lisa Marie openly criticize Michael.

Do you think Oprah has been unfair to Michael Jackson?

I gotta be honest, I am not very happy about these kids being put out there like that for ratings sake. I'm all for them coming out and speaking about their dad, but on their terms and when they decide are ready. I dont think they have decided they are ready yet, rather I think the decision to do this interview has been made for them. Yes I know people are curious about them and wanna hear from them, but I think their privacy and well-being should be put FIRST before catering to the needs and demands of public curiosity. Just because the public wants to see and hear from them, doesnt mean they should be subjected to a TV interview.

I highly doubt being a part of this was their idea or wish. I'm willing to bet that they were "strongly encouraged" to be a part of this interview by a member(s) of the Jackson family because having the MJ3 be included increased the price they are being paid to do this interview. I dont have anything for or against Oprah, I dont watch her show. IMO she's just a business woman doing whatever it takes to make sure she gets the highest ratings for her last season. All she cares about are ratings, and thats the nature of showbiz. No doubt she approached the Jackson family with the idea, and she talked them into having the MJ3 be included and they negotiated the price on how much they would be paid, and Katherine and Joe willingly accepted.

I know that eventually Prince,Paris or Blanket might want to speak out publicly about their dad, but I find it hard to believe that they wanted to do this now. I think they were pushed and coerced into it...all for the almighty dollar. And that's what upsets me. I'm not sure if I want to watch this when it airs or not...

This whole thing w/Oprah & the Jackson family is kind of pissing me off. I can kind of understand why Michael kept himself away from his family, give or take a few relatives, and made it mandatory for them to have appointments. I'm not trying to insinuate that Michael was a saint himself, because that is his family and he is still a product of them. Yet, all his life he tried really hard to stay as elusive from the press as possible and hid those kids from them, because he wanted them to have some kind of semblance of normalcy even if the irony was in his execution of that. Then again, he must have suspected this much was going to happen if he passed before they became teenagers.

It's just too depressing.

This is why I, personally, try to stay away from this nonsense and why I stayed away from that hoopla back in 2004-2005. The last thing I want to feed is that media monster.

i agree with everything you said. this isn't the kids' idea. their father made them wear masks to foil the stalking paparazzi; they know that their father would never, ever give his consent to this. but what can they do? it's just like joe and katherine making them sign those belts to be auctioned off. they are exploiting these kids for money, and not one other adult - not any of mj's brothers, not any of his sisters, nieces, nephews, etc. are willing to put a stop to it. shameful.

i have never been a fan of oprah, but she's always been a tabloid queen. just because she has gotten better makeup, clothes, etc. as her show grew in popularity - due in no small part to her mj interview in 1993 - doesn't mean she's not the same ratings whore she's always been. taj is hopelessly naive if he thinks she's coming to the jacksons to set the story straight. that's what mj thought about bashir - and how wrong he was. oprah is no different. she's there to sate her purient bloodlust for mj, to offer up his kids for fodder to her audience to gawk at, just like she did with woman whose face was torn off by the chimp. she, joe and katherine are disgusting human beings.

Funny you say that, because I think that people forget that Katherine is still Joe's wife. She's still married to him despite the current state of their marriage. I know that when MJ talked about her it was as if he had put her on this pedestal, but even if someone can argue that she's a victim of abuse, she is still responsible for her decisions, as an adult. What this says to me is that she still puts the desires and wishes of her husband before her own children's.

It is true that I haven't lived with them and I don't know all the details, but actions always speak louder than words ever will.

One can only hope that they do not interview them...

Yes but they got their info from the New York Daily News....which is supposed to be considered a legit news source right? Of course the tabloid press has pretty much crossed over into the mainstream press now so you really have no idea what is accurate and whats not...but I think the NY Daily News is supposed to be different from say, the New York Post. confused

Well anyways I really hope that you're right and that O didnt talk to them. Or if she did indeed interview them, that she decides to remove that segment from this broadcast. Besides, I would much rather hear from the mother of Paris and Prince, Debbie Rowe. I would like to hear how she's been doing/coping.

I think many news outlets have gotten tabloidish including even the most "respected" ones. I think the New York Times is more believeable than the Daily News. Of course the Post is tabloid central though.

Yeah, they probably are. But I get an uneasy feeling that the insider "source" who leaked this bit of info to the NYDN was probably a Jackson family member...probably the same one who took pics of Oprah in the family home with their camera phone and sold them to TMZ sigh

Yeah that's why it's sickening. I wouldn't be surprised. I had a feeling they would stoop this low despite my initial shock at this. This is just sad.
