Anyways, I think the main difference between Christina, Pink and Lady Gaga is that Lady Gaga is a singer/songwriter while Christina and Pink are just singers.

Although Christina and Pink can claim that these albums are born of their own ideas, they can't claim that without a great deal of inferred meddling going on in their music. The producers, the songwriters, the sound engineers---all of them actually determine what the album is going to sound like.

Lady Gaga, I would imagine, has a great deal more artistic influence over her own music. You're getting more of a product that reflects her , and over the next couple of albums you'll probably see some interesting things if she decides to stretch out a bit. From what I've witnessed of her live performances, especially those were it's just her and a piano--she's got it in her.

But Lady Gaga is a singer/song writer. The creative process between what Lady Gaga does and what Pink/Christina does in my opinion can be likened to what Mariah does compared to Jay-Lo in some regards.


I think Pink wrote lyrics from the heart, and I think she defiantly has an idea of what something should sound like in her mind.

But I have to give the nod to those can write their own music from scratch without Linda Perry acting as the Muse.

It's obvious from songs like 'Beautiful' and 'Family Portrait' that Linda Perry is a good teacher when it comes to songwriting because Christina and P!nk co-wrote these songs with her. Xpiredtina Aguilera has cancelled her summer tour across North America!

Sources tell us that poor ticket sales are to blame, but Floptina's camp is claiming otherwise. They are saying the tour is merely "postponed" - until 2011! That's more than a few months!

In a statement from Live Nation, the tour promoters, Aguilera announced the summer tour has been moved to 2011 due to prior commitments she had to make for promoting her new album, Bionic, which leaked online today, and her upcoming film debut, Burlesque, which is slated for a November.

"The singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour date this wasn’t possible," the statement read.

Poor Floptina!

this is the 2nd time she's done this. i bought tickets for a friend's birthday to her "stripped" show and she cancelled! lol... done with trying to see her. what a joke. she should book smaller venues...but that might hurt her ego.

I know I've been put into a box as a 'fanboy', but I downloaded the leak, and honestly, if you haven't heard this album, you need to. This is honestly her best work. NMT and Woohoo and Bionic are NOT representative of the album. Even the samples are misleading, because they took the weakest parts and used those for the samples, instead of the strongest parts.

I'm starting to believe this is her Sgt. Pepper's, and I'm not even all the way through the first listen yet. It's like being hit by hit single after hit single after hit single, and GOOD hit singles, too.

I swear, if this album flops, it's not because of the music, because 98% of the music on this album is 20x better than what's on the radio currently. It probably will flop because people don't know good music anymore.

Listen to the leak, if you don't believe me. I am so grateful that I dropped $62 on this album, and that's even without the second disc with the 6 or 7 bonus tracks!

If anything, it just makes Lady Gaga all the more confident in her creative process as compared to Pink and Christina. She's a musician who sings--they're singers. I still give her the edge.

i guess they were trying to capitolize on the summer concert season. I don't know why she is worried. She puts on better shows than Britney, thanks to Jamie King,and seems to have become one of the better live acts of her generation. i think the people that can afford to go to concerts want to hear what else she has to offer before they buy a ticket. Maybe next summer we'll see Madge, Xtina and Kylie on tour.
