Oh Lordy...I haven't read that damage control article yet...

Did she make mention of how she was a super FAN, basically stalked him, and lurked on msg boards?
I'm gonna bet not. Even tho all that's well documented and she herself said as much. Is the article worth reading at all or is it a fluff piece of how she's a saint?

Actually, I felt as if she was making P sound like a saint...the byproduct being that since she was the ex saying such lovely things about P that either a non-Pfan or a casual Pfan might think,

"This gal sounds like the lovely ex who clearly holds no ill will against him".

Know what I mean?

LBrent, I totally agree with you. The timing of the article STRONGLY SUGGESTS that she cooperated for the article in order for it to serve as damage control for the information that the public would learn about her from the divorce papers.

Ohh she went down that road did she? I'm gonna have 2 read it. She was full on trying 2 put the fire out after the files showed her 2 be what most of us surmised.

I still find it hilarious that she was trying 2 use the org as a defense of trying 2 keep the records sealed. The "they're being meanies 2 me and hurt my feelings!!" defense doesn't even work on most playgrounds.

Right?

I dunno...Mebbe she's sensitive.

I'm a bit too clueless for my feelings to be hurt.

She's not that sensitive, she was just scrambling 2 cover her ass. She would have said she got attacked by a carrot and needed time 2 recover from her harrowing experience if that meant keeping the files sealed. lol

P wanted these files sealed and I wish they would have stayed sealed myself. If we lived in a perfect world they would have cuz it really isn't any1s business. But unfortunately we don't. She spun her web, now she has 2 hang in it.

Honestly I don't care what her motives were with that Rolling Stone article. Most people know nothing about her or their relationship so they'll read it and think what a great guy. That's all I care about.

I'm pissed at the Star Tribune for thinking unsealing this serves a public good. And I'm glad they basically have egg on their face as what was released was incredibly boring. Like one of the mods said, what's going on with the Estate is much more important than the boring details of a divorce that happened a decade ago.

I don't know, rogifan. Bulldozed houses and mysterious tornados are not boring by most stretches of the imagination. Just when you thought Prince's level of shade could go no higher, he took it to another level, and from the afterworld, at that. Personally, I don't think Prince would be displeased with this turn of events. But that's just my take.

.

Having said that, I do agree that the goings on with the estate are much more important. Still, I must admit that reading all the gossipy details has been my guilty pleasure for the last two days. I mean, we all knew that P was rolling in the deep, but, for many of us, it's fun hearing first-hand details.

- I am a germaphobe

- I traveled on a plane for the first time when I was 3 months old.

- As a toddler, I switched from speaking English to Arabic then back to English

- I eat dark chocolate every day

- Eric and I eloped one year before our actual wedding and never told anyone outside of immediate family smile

- The first time I wore makeup I was 29; So it didn't occur to me to wear makeup at the Oscars the first time I went :/ and I still don't know how to do my own makeup.

- I am one of 6 kids on my dad's side. And I'm the only one without a middle name.

- I am pretty damn good at checkers. And I'm pretty competitive.

- I learned how to drive a forklift in the soundstage at Paisley Park

- I used to put on my mom's Fashion Fair foundation because I secretly wished I had chocolate skin like her.

- I'm a miracle baby

- I survived two rounds of natural childbirth with hypnotherapy and somehow had a C-section without morphine.

- On my dad's side we have Austrian nobility

- On my mom's side, family is Nubian Egyptian and can be traced back hundreds of years in southern Egypt and Sudan. And my Great uncle is the chief of Kom Ombo in southern Egypt

- I'm painfully shy in front of a crowd but am not afraid to speak up in more intimate situations.

- I don't get star struck, except when I met the Dalai Lama. Oh and chatting with Obama over a dirty martini kinda got me smile

- I worked two jobs and helped out at my dad's restaurant to put myself through university. But I managed to graduate early with a double major in Law and Sociology and a specialization in Criminology

- I'm passionate about languages, children, travel, cooking, gardening and interior design.

- I'm a tough cookie for the most part, but a total softie when it comes to my family, children, and social injustices.

- I still can't take crowds or the sound of fireworks since Mumbai.

- I'm somewhat of a daredevil

- I'm allergic to lots of things, including coffee :/

- I've had several near death experiences. Several!

- I've survived a terror attack, a bombing, a sandstorm on "death road", the pain of divorce and the heartache of miscarriage. But I'm stronger because of it all.

- I was a tomboy growing up: I love sports and played field hockey and soccer for many years.

- I've never owned a Barbie but I had a C.H.I.P.S big wheel

- I have a few freckles on my face

- I am not really scared of anything. But I don't trust clowns

- I've had the same best friend for 32 years

- I can read music and play piano but am very shy to play in front of others.

- I think it's important to have friends who won't enable you and will keep you in check. I'm that kind of friend.

- my name means God is With Us.

"I think it's important to have friends who won't enable you and will keep you in check. I'm that kind of friend."

Now that's interesting. Did she make this list recently? She's another one of those people who play the "talk/don't talk" game. I have no bad feelings about her ( indifferent to most people from P's camp), but they all seem to be bound in keeping the mistery thing alive, which I don't enjoy at all.

But, allergic to coffee. Poor thing. She has all my compassion for that. All the money in the world couldn't make up for a life with no coffee in it. razz

House gone along with his two marriages. A new life started in a place that never failed him, Paisley Park and married to his one true love: his music.

I was fortunate enough to attend the first celebration and a great deal of Friday night parties at Paisley Park, chatted with employees, musicians, and family members and living a great experience.

The funny part is I came in as an enthusiastic who did not know that much of his music and his life but grew to enjoy it and exploring it directly on site. How cool was that! Fans would share with me along the way and led me to this website. Although, he is gone, we are here to stay.

I wonder who has access to the property now? It's easy to miss because it's just a nawrrow driveway right next to a city utilities facility. There's a gate and a boarded up guard desk.

The Rolling Stone article was a complete waste of time and an article laced with inaccuracies.

I wish the media would stop interviewing this Manuela. I mean what exactly did we learn about Prince from her? I'm open to anyone shedding light on what we didnt already know.

We know he was charitable. He was charitable way before her, unless someone wants to prove that he was not, so what is news here?

I feel like I've learned more from Van Jones and from the organizations who have revealed his donations after he died. He was supporting Sheila E's Elevate Hope for almost two decades now. These are the people I want to hear from because it occured before he passed. It gives me a better idea of the intiatives he was passionate about.

This whole school thing named in his honor is all based on Manuela's words about a conversation that took place (she changed the timing and manner of this communication like 3 times) which is completely unverifiable.

I dont need to hear anything else from her. I hope the family form some kind of foundation that partners with the organizations he supported like Yes We Code and continue the efforts from there.

Enough with this chick. I wish her organization well, I mean its nice and those she supports is nice. I just dont care for her. She gives me vibes like the vibes I feel from the United Way Organization. lol

I have these same doubts. In fact, it would not surprise me, at all, if Manuela made up the whole story about contacting Prince about this school. From the beginning, I have seen this as her way of inserting herself back into Princeland. She knows that she blew it by divorcing Prince, so chick wants to have her cake and eat it, too. I'll bet that Prince's spirit is happy that she is being exposed for the money-grubbing opportunist that she is.

.

Let's face it, charities are big business, especially when they have big, beloved names like Prince Rogers Nelson attached to them. And many of the people who run charities make a boatload of money. Indeed, in many cases, only pennies of every dollar raised actually go toward the charitable causes that the organizations/individuals use to raise money. The lion's share of the money in many charities goes toward paying "overhead," like HUGE salaries and expenses of the administrators...and for lavish parties and benefits.

THANK YOU! I am so glad that this was said. I'm glad that the Star Tribune got those documents unsealed because it exposes Mani's TRUE character, and I know Prince is pulling strings in the afterlife. Too many people, including Mani, are making money off of his death and I just know that his spirit isn't happy with a lot of this mess that's going on. And to the font who stated that this will not put a dent in her life, the hell it won't. I refuse to give a dime to this money hungry bytch! If Prince agreed to build schools in his name, HE would've done it or he would've been donating concert money for it...just like he did to keep the Forum open. Mani is a phucking liar and I'm glad she's been exposed. Only a FOOL would support these "schools" she's building in Prince honor. Why not build schools in her current husband's honor??? She's running around as if she's Prince widow. She wasn't able to locate him about the location, not necessarily the entire concept.

From yesterday's neatly planned Rolling Stone article: "A year later, in 2006, Testolini and Prince divorced amicably. When asked about whether or not they kept in touch on charitable works after the divorce, she says, "I don't want to bring up the divorce, so I'm just going to stick on the charity subject."" No one asked her to bring up the divorce. They asked about whether she and Prince spoke about charity after the divorce (meaning since). Obviously she doesn't want people to know that they NEVER SPOKE AGAIN - and he kicked her to the curb FOREVER. THAT is the MANI-pulation I'm talking about. http://www.rollingstone.c...rk-w460865 [Edited 1/14/17 6:22am]

Classic lol

Prince was a wordsmith, so he chose his words very carefully. He was also a master of metaphors. He said the house was "infested" for a reason. That's a very strong word, meant to convey extreme displeasure, revulsion even.

That's the way I took it as well.

LOL. I pity the fool who gets into a war of words or a battle of wits with a Gemini. We don't go around starting stuff but we will damn sure finish it when people try us. lol

Sho nuff lol they always learn the hard way! It keeps us sharp though lol

At least he didn't sell her personal love letters on the Internet for cash. That was about as selfish and cold as you can get.

touché lol

.

ehm get your timeline in order. If MG's things were burnt, then that would have been somewhere between '99 and 2000. The selling of P's things happened more than a decade later.

.

Considering that they burnt her stuff in Larry's backyard, and the fact that he was dogging her with M2, I have to give MG even more credit for the way in which she's never said a bad word about him.

.

Why aren't the tribune going after the divorce records of MG ? My guess is , because there is nothing there, because MG didn't try to get money from him.

.

Honestly, this shit with M2 is making MG look better, more dignified.

Couldn't agree more.

I love Prince but if he burned my things honestly the least of my retaliation would be selling items I've held in my possession for almost 20 yrs on the Internet for rescued animals. She's gained even more of my respect!

eek falloff

When a woman like Mani-pulative starts their relationship off by interfering in a marriage -even if that marriage is coming 2 a close, things R bound 2 end badly.

I'm surprised no1s made mention of Mani's name being credited as early as the Cafe De Paris aftershow video. What was that 1999 -2000? He still had his wedding band on from Mayte. pimp2

She lied on the Rolling Stones article and claimed they met in 2000.

at least 1998

Agreed! She was around in 1998. She was in his come on video, no sight of Mayte BTW. She was thanked in the liner notes of the new power soul album as Manuela T. She's been hanging around & I don't agree with hanging around a married man regardless of the state of his marriage, the fact remains he was married! Imo
