It's obvious, if this has been reported truthfully, that she didn't have a problem with the father's parenting skills until they split up. And what about the birth certificate? Don't you have to name the father on the certificate in California? Seems to me, when they conceived this child, they were all in love and do, and it would have been no question that he would have been named the legal/biological father on the certificate. Lawd hap mercy, celebrities and their messes!

But then again, the photos I've reviewed with the father interacting with mother and child, he doesn't seem to be too happy. In most of the pictures I've seen, he rarely smiled and looked somewhat annoyed.

As far as I know family courts are closed courts, if they really wanted they could have done all this in private. It does look like victim play has started

I was always suspected the media assassination with Eric was foul play. I felt sorry for his child as I feel sorry Nahla they are the ones that will be hurt the most.

I think it's good we don't automatically buy the characterization of Gabriel Aubry as the bad guy in this whole ordeal. But in decidedly not doing that, I hope we don't reflexively jump to the conclusion that Halle is the bad guy (or girl, as it were). I don't dig her tactics so far in this mess, as they come off too open-mouth, too vitriolic and, given her history, a bit too "Boy Who Cried Wolf." But I don't want to overly indict that misstep. If, in fact, what she says of Aubry is true and I were in her shoes, I imagine I might be indignant and sloppy enough to put him on Front Street as well.

Whatever the legitimate dirt they have on each-other (and I bet they both have some), I just hope all this passes quickly for all parties involved -- especially that beautiful little girl the two of them still have to raise with some semblance of dignity.

Gabe should have seen this coming though. I remember Halle on Oprah promoting her disastrous movie Catwoman and she all but said she didn't want to get married and just wanted to be a mother - when a woman says she just wants to be a mother that's damn near code for any man that "you can leave once your deed is done".
