Dad and daughter enjoying some time alone at the Los Angeles Zoo on Feb 17th. All is seemingly wonderful when psycho Mommy Dearest Halle isn't around.

What I see in this picture is a daddy's little princess. You know that type; they may love their mama as much as they love daddy but there is a special sparkle in their eye whenever daddy is around. Daddy can do no wrong by his girl, especially when a daddy's girl is this age. Mama's sometimes get jealous of this bond, especially if they were not a daddy's girl themselves and do not understand the closeness.

Soooo true. I'm a prime example...

rolleyes Why her mother gotta be a dumb ass cuz she did what she thought was best for HER child in the time and conditions she was living in. Like I said, NOBODY was taking the biracial approach 45 years ago so her mother did what was widely accepted and normal in those times. And since you nor anybody else on the Org was living in Halle's house, you don't know what her mother did or did not share with her regarding her "white" culture.

Furthermore, you're not walking in her shoes and what works for you doesn't work for everybody else. If you're a parent, I'm sure you've made parenting decisions that others would say you're a dumb ass for making, but ultimately only you know what's best for your child.

[Edited 2/18/11 9:00am]

I think it is quite all right for me to have an opinion without ever living in someones house. Given that you are one of the most opinionated orgers around, and thats what makes you interesting, I am shocked that your getting all deffensive. I called Halle's mom a dumb ass, not a dumb fucken bitch. It is not that serious.

rolleyes Ain't nobody said you couldn't have an opinion. But since you're obviously a perfect parent who does no wrong, go on then.

Come on now SNDLS, where did I say I was perfect? Surely you must have me mistaken for someone else because I am clearly not perfect nor have I ever said I was. Not only that I have friends who would be quick to point out my shortcomings to me if my head should ever get Halle Berry large. Are these friends that point out my imperfections themselves perfect? Why no, they are human. See SCNDLS you don't need to be perfect to have an opiinion or notice that someone's logic is a bit wack. We all have our flaws. We don't have to wait until we are perfect to point out other's flaws either.

IN the past 2 years that I have been on the org I have noticed that you are one of the orgers that is quick to state her opinion, quick to argue her point and not back down until she is ready, and not shy about pointing out anyone and everyone's flaws in the media that she finds obnoxious. Are you telling me you only do so because you are PERFECTLY QUALIFIED because you are a perfect person?

Why is it that you get to share your opinion of every hot mess in the media before you reach sainthood, but I do not? Just don't get why you singled me out:hmm2: .

Life imitating art.

OR maybe it's the stereotype that only white men have oral sex with women more often than black men. Maybe that's the only reason why Halle gave Gabriel more second chances in their relationship than she ever gave to ex-husbands David & Eric.

blahblah I'm not reading all of that cuz you're making something out of nuthin. And once again, I didn't say anyone couldn't have an opinion or express it.

My comments about obviously dumb ass celebs doing obviously dumb ass shit is not the least bit comparable to calling a woman names for doing what was best for HER child at the time she raised her. And I just thought that it was quite ironic for someone who's had their own parenting issues to throw stones at a woman who successfully raised two daughters despite being a single parent and a victim of abuse. That kind of criticism is something I guarantee you've NEVER seen from me.

I never understood how Jennifer got a "white pass" cuz I don't recall her ever identifying herself as white and she sure don't look it to me. Maybe the fact that she grew up in Chicago made a difference. But one approach doesn't fit every family or individual. shrug

Yep, she aint never looked white to me either. Could be a matter of where one grows up as some areas are more diverse and liberal than others. That's why I don't get Halle's position. Nahla's growing up in the most liberal community. Her daughter may well have an easier time growing up not only because of who her parents are (celebs) but because of racial make up. She will breeze through the color barrier much the same way Nicole Ritchie and Kidada Jones have done.

[Edited 2/18/11 10:13am]

BAM! lol

I've never understood how Nicole does because she identifies herself as black but you never read articles that talk about her heritage

Kidada definitely does, though. Her movie roles are always racially ambiguious, especially in "I Love You Man"

nod Or, moms has tried all to no avail.

I remember when Eric did that interview with BabbaWawa he was adamant that he was not a sex addict and that Halle and her mother came up with that diagnosis as a way to excuse his behavior if they stayed together. I believe him. If he was an addict, where were all the ho's and jumpoffs at? Not a single one came out. The only chick we KNOW about was his ex-girlfriend whom he was photog'd with the morning of the Oscars doing the walk of shame from his apt in Ohio.

[Edited 2/23/11 10:59am]

nod Yep I remember that. The proof is in the coochie, or in Eric's case the lack of coochie. Aint no way in hell Eric was a sex addict. Shit...in Cali, our jump offs will put yo ass on blast for a dollar and a photo op.

More like a Subway card and a Trey Songz CD lol

I see absolutely no difference between your comments and mine; accept that yours were made by you so therefore are above critism by me or anybody else. You are a hot mess, but that's what we love about you. We have already lost Tame and mzqueen03 this year, without you the org would just be too dull.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinions.

Everyone is entitled to confront and address another's opinion.

Nobody on here is perfect.

Nobody is claiming to be perfect.

Halle's position on child rearing and custody of little Nahla is a different issue than what her own mother went through and how she raised Halle.

IMO Halle is as dumb as a bag of rocks period! Her mother however was a wise and strong woman for enduring what she did during a time when race relations were more strained and being a single white mother of two black kids was difficult AND uncommon.

Nothing wrong with name dropping if you got it like that! Plenty have done it and if you are fortunate to move within celeb circles and gain insight into a person's character versus what is represented in tabloids then by all means share that shit because it's insight and always relative to the discussion at hand.

With that said...if Michael Ealy would have just busted up in Halle none of this would be happening. Right? Ok, maybe the custody issue would still happen but there would be no argument over whether Nahla was black or not. My guess is she'd probably come out looking close to what she looks like now too.

Let's all watch Imitation of Life. Damn that's a good movie. popcorn Lana Turner was a bitch tho and I would have slapped that biracial daughter from here to kingdom come.

I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

Some people are fine with name dropping, some are not...I'm trying to see where you're going with this, Erin, or if you're just having an Aries moment wink. Everyone here has a fun quirk about them that makes them a hit in threads here: you're a rational, articulate chick with an unusual preoccupation for letting us know you need to be choked on a constant basis- you set the standard for killer photowhoring with great porn make-up; SNDLS is a hard-ass rootin'-tootin' Texas latina, richer than gawd, who likes to luxuriate in all manners of opulence with a lengthy list of show-bizzzers. While it's true she likes shoes I can no longer dream of walking in, it's still fun to chill out with a fellow shoe afficianado and hear the occasional story from her adventures at the shooting range lol . You've name dropped too once in a while about people you or your brother(?) know in the music industry, so I'm surprised you'd be bothered by it. At the end of the day doesn't everybody have a story here on the board that makes them cool? Some folks are in Christian rock bands, some are doing alternative hip-hop, some are moms juggling their art with three kids, some are pagan, tarot readin' goddesses, some are killer cooks with amazing families, some are moel moms, some are retired people with hilarious anecdotes, some are cancer survivors, some are jet-setters....at the end of the day, can't we all just have fun with it? smile

Some folks are in Christian rock bands, some are doing alternative hip-hop, some are moms juggling their art with three kids, some are pagan, tarot readin' goddesses, some are killer cooks with amazing families, some are moel moms, some are retired people with hilarious anecdotes, some are cancer survivors, some are jet-setters....at the end of the day, can't we all just have fun with it? smile

Locking at request of the OP.

Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it.
