She could work for my company. My boss would love it. Shit, he used to make the prettiest saleswomen work the reception desk to greet visitors. They didn't like it, but he signs the checks.

My first professional job was like that. I know that dude hired me cuz he thought I was fine. Shit I fucked up the interview so what else could it have been? Plus he was all sleazy and grinnin' n shit the whole time during the interview. I had gum in my mouth so you know my ass was green.

Anyway, he put me right out front to greet clients and I had to answer the phone and do meeting planning. I had it good man. I would show up to work late on Mondays and Fridays. I would be filing my nails and shit at the front desk, reading fashion mags and shit and talkin' on the phone to my girlfriends, doing my homework on the computer and shit. I think maybe I showed up to work on time at least twice.

I knew I was done for one day when I messed up an important phone message (missed the time of call, dude's last name and the meeting place). Some bitch ass troll heffa supervisor complained and boss man had to let me go. But check it...he didn't fire me. He helped me find another job and gave me a good reference and his cell #. I was on that job about two months and ole dude gave me a full month's pay even when I left. How you gonna pay somebody a full month when they've already started working another job?

If that ole dude didn't look like Kenny Rogers I'd at least have gone on a date with him.

If her actual work is not an issue here, and if she wears those outfits we've seen in the videos, then regardless of what she said on some reality TV show several years ago and whether her boobs are fake or real, I think she has a right to question whether her dismissal from her job is in fact discrimination based on how she looks. Whether she wins her case or not, and regardless of whether we know the full story, it has definitely raised some interesting questions that I think show up some double-standards and already reveal discrimination in the attitudes of some folks just here on the org.

It's a little off-topic, but this thread got me thinking about something. I think my wife's attractive, and when we go out she likes to wear short skirts and boots or high-heels. If I walk down Khao San Road with her you can bet someone will think she's a prostitute. People we've met have said as much and tried to belittle her (and me). The thing is, going out to a pub and bar area, isn't a short skirt and high shoes kinda normal attire? Prostitutes do often wear short skirts and high shoes, but is that any reason for my wife not to? And if she looks good, does that make her more likely to be labeled a prostitute? Somehow I think it does, but why is that? Because she's a Thai girl, walking alongside a white man in a pub and bar area, should she take this into account and dress down? A former friend of mine suggested as much, saying it would show more respect for me and the marriage, but I disagreed with him, thinking it's not our concern. Dead wrong. In reality fat people are discrimminated on daily and viscously even on this very board. fat people are seen as lazy and sloppy.

I know, I live it everyday. People assume I can't even walk fast.

Fat people wear the same clothing as a thinner person and the fat person would automaticly look sloppier because of the excess body fat.

As far as dress codes go, fat people have to take the extra mile and wear specific attire that doesn't show lumps bumps and too much back fat. It's all about attitude and selling yourself. If you sell "sexy" men may assume you just want to whore yourself around. Women are usually considered sexy when they have mastered the art of being subtle and charming. Looks really doesn't have anything to do with being sexy.
