It always seemed to me that she ran a hot bath, popped her Xanax and washed it and the burger down w/ the beer, then took the champagne and turkey sandwich in and sat it down, got in the tub, and the hot water dropped her blood pressure and she was fatally sedated. Just drooped right down and went to sleep, leaving her open to ingest all the water, not have any contusions on her face, and look quite morbid when found.
Seems to me she knew she was gonna be in the bath for a while if she went through the trouble of bringing a 2nd drink and 2nd sandwich in with her. That would also explain all the splashed water on the ground in the pic of her tray. If she had just been partially submerged, you wouldn't see all that water sprayed everywhere. If she had already been relaxing and slumped down into the water, pulling her out would soak the floor like it appears in the one picture.
This is plausible. |

But yet when people have had a different opinion from you on this topic, you call them naive, stupid, and say that they are the reason the country is fucked up. I'm starting to think Whitney died of some heart condition and this is why everyone is coming out with all these confusing stories. Whitney was overworked on this particular day - she was to do an infomercial, do an interview for Brandy's VH-1 documentary (Behind the Music), then get ready for soundcheck as she, Brandy and Monica were allegedly going to get together to pay tribute to Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award honoree Diana Ross and then attend Clive's party. What's confusing is all the stuff in Whitney's room indicates someone else was in the room and no one is sure who. Pat Houston claims Whitney was ALONE for much of that time with the exception of Krissy until Krissy left that morning so who knows if she was the one who was there eating with her mother and then decided to leave in time for her mother to shoot the infomercial (I think it was for Pat's candle collection but I'm not sure, I didn't remember what Pat said the infomercial was about). The different stories is confusing people so much that most think she might've been killed. Apparently there were thumps but no one is investigating that or why the water from her bathroom leaked leaving to some destruction in another hotel room. And again, that delay in getting Whitney's body out of the hotel. It leads people to a lot of different conclusions plus the mystery of that 911 call. The Oprah interview, as expected, didn't delve into that because Gary and Pat are both acting as if someone shitted on the carpet when it came to 1.) when Whitney died and 2.) who took that picture of her in the casket.
After hearing Pat and Gary's side about the casket picture, I firmly believed Pat (or Gary, or them together or just Pat) sold that picture to the magazine Pat hated to call "a tabloid". And what was up with her speaking like a Jackson family member? |

Nobody told you to stop posting in this thread, but that doesn't mean they won't tell you you're wrong. And why the indignation? You really take it that personal? That's your problem, not anyone else's.
And the last time I checked, its ALL a damn opinion. So what the hell makes YOUR opinion more valuable than anyone else's? Nothing. So go ahead and have your ridiculous opinion, but if you have the bravery to speak it out in a public setting you better have the bravery to withstand people telling you it's BS.

Some people seem to think Ms. Houston was in the bathtub and slid down after falling unconscious and drowned. Ms. Houston was not in the tub in the usual position.
She was face down in the tub. I do not know how she got in that position, and neither does anyone else (perhaps). When Mary Jones found according to Ms. Jones, she was face down in the tub and Jones started screaming.
This is why I don't buy that she was face down.
If she had been face down and naked (I guess), she woulda had to pass out mid-air/whilst standing and perhaps bump her head. I've heard nothing state she had contusions on her face or anything. But does it not stand to reason that the tub was indeed a bath tub and not a sauna where her whole body could flop into it without hitting the sides?
Seems to me she couldn't have been face down by her own volition. Just seems really hard to believe to me. Passing out in the tub? Yup. Passing out before she got there and not making it in? Yup. But passing out just enough to be floating in water? Come on. This sounds like someone in the Houston camp is lying. |

I surely hope that this toxicology report will bring a definite bookend to this tragic ending. The last thing the family needs is more questions... Especially Cissy and Bobbi Kris (Excuse me, Kristina Houston).
Speaking of which, do you guys believe this new story regarding Bobbi Kristina wanting to legally change her name? If its true, I can't imagine how that would make Bobby Brown feel |

The source is TMZ so I don't put anything behind that story just yet. Though it's true that daughter don't trust her daddy... I think she's just trying to get her mind right though. She just lost her mother and maybe she don't trust Bobby to be around with yet... |

I don't believe it and won't until the news comes from out of her mouth. I'm sure if she did, it would probably make Bobby feel a bit bothered, but I think her name came mostly from her mother, so wouldn't it be a slap to her mother though? Anywho, she's an adult and can change it if she wants, but I think it would be a step that she would later come to regret. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

The scenarios into how Whitney really got found could be any of these things:
1.) She got in the pool but was submerged (somehow that story has been debunked)
2.) She had a heart attack and her head hit the water with the rest of her body out.
3.) She had an accidental overdose of Xanax and beer (or some wine) and dropped to the ground before reaching the tub.
----
I'm kinda believing that if water was found on her lungs, number two would be more plausible. |

Yeah her mother named her Bobbi Kristina Houston-Brown. Whitney said Krissy always hated to be referred to as "Bobbi" and rather be called "Krissy". Bobby always called her Krissy and Whitney did too. Everyone calls her Krissy. Never "Bobbi". Plus there's already another Bobby (Bobby Brown Jr.) and Bobbi Brown the makeup designer. I could see if she just wanted to be Kristina Houston Brown though. |

Well she could have been on her knees outside the tub with one arm in the water and adjusting the handle with the other passed out/heart attack/stroke/died/OD and went head first into the tub. With the one arm in the tub already it wouldn't have been a fall just a slow plunge ie no bruising. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything. |

It might've been that she went into cardiac arrest. I think I read that people who are found like that usually have cardiac arrest and die almost immediately. Whitney was ready to take a bath when her system shut down. There were rumors the toxicology would come back and say she died accidentally but I'm beginning to think she died of cardiac arrest now. Pills would probably be found in her system but they probably would rule out overdose. The coroner already said that there weren't enough drugs in the room to say she might've had an OD. |

True. I don't know. I just know I don't trust Pat's memory of events. How could you think that Whitney's behavior wasn't drug/alcohol induced? Whitney had been seen drinking in the nightclub. In fact they said Whitney was a notorious drunk. Pat Houston being her manager and all could've helped Whitney but she let her be embarrassed like that in front of the media. Now that she's dead, she wants to act as if she was her savior or something. If you're a close confidant of your client, you don't calmly walk after hearing screams and panicking over what happened to your client. Pat just seems shady to me. |

Oh I agree everything is completely wonky. I think alot of follks have scattered and no one really knows who she was around the last couple of days. On the Essence website, they have a video of a press conference Ray J. did to express how Whitney's loss has affected him. Now what was the point in doing that? It was said Whitney moved her entourage with her to Atlanta and paid for almost everything, meaning she had to take care of all those she trusted to take care of her. While she may have done her end of the bargain, they just couldn't or didn't want to. |

Congrats to Oprah on a very well done interview. She asked just the right questions. Even though she didn't always get the right anwsers from Pat. Glad Krissy is following in her parents footsteps. I'm sure she inherited all that talent. I just wish Oprah didn't keep trying to make Bobby out to be a factor in all the problems. Bobby was talented also so Krissy can very well follow in his footsteps also besides Whitney.. Pat threw Ray totally under the bus & Staci. She made Staci out to be stalker..... will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P. |
