anyway i read now the diamonds and pearls sde is gonna include love symbol stuff. that's dumb. i hate that. every release makes it more clear they have no roadmap and no clue what they're doing.

I don't care if SDE from era X contains stuff from era Y.

I think the complaints are warranted. Those of us who have been collecting bootlegs and live shows since the late 80s know of the quality of stuff and the amount of stuff still yet to see the light of day. At this point, those in control are just dropping the ball.

Do what you want with the deluxe releases and anniversary stuff, but for god's sake provide a membership deal to the real fans, who want to download all the concerts, all the outtakes and remixes, all the rehersals, all the unreleased tracks and get on with it.

Me too. We don't know how the tapes in the vault were, maybe this is jut how that tape was after all these years and that was the best they could do. Could you imainge the outcry if the release was Frankensteined and they 'fixed' it by using a bootleg version spliced in at the end?

With Feel U Up and Irresistible Bitch on 1999 SDE, people moaned about them not being spliced together and there bing a gap between them. But when the splicing occured on Our Destiny/Roadhouse Garden, people were up in arms.

Either you want what's in the vault, as Prince left it, or you don't. Just because we, or an elite, has something in a certain quality or a certain version, that doesn't mean that is exactly what was in the vault when Prince died.

What the estate really need to do is give more details on why things are as they are. Give transparency when something is frankensteined or mixed with artistic interpretation.

Well, that and they need to release more stuff and more quickly!
