Officially announced from the Prince estate, the release is NOVEMBER 29

It appears the deluxe edition will have the same metallic cover as PR DELUXE.

On November 15, Warner Brothers Music will return to 1999 with a Super Deluxe package that will be reissued on 5CD/1DVD and 10LP/1DVD box sets. Both sets will feature new remastering for the classic album, as well as deliver a collection of vault tracks, promo mixes and B-sides, and a previously unreleased live performance set from a Detroit show on November 30, 1982. The DVD will provide video for his previously unreleased live set at The Summit in Houston, TX on December 29, 1982. The boxes are rounded out with a stuffed booklet of new liner notes, detailed Vault Tracks notes, rare photos, and copies of the lyrics in handwritten form.

Warner Brothers Records will also release 4LP and 2CD versions of 1999 that include the original album, and the promo mixes and B-sides, all with 2019 remaster.

Agreed, it's ridiculous not to allow fans to post media reviews and first impressions of tracks they've heard. Always allowed comments ahead of new Prince releases when he was alive!

If Eye Records releases the bonus tracks on Blast From The Past 8.0 before the 1999 Duluxe released date, can we talk about them then?

i think the rule that was violated was the first rule of org club: you can't ask for bootlegs.

it was violated about 5 times per 3 posts, irrc.

the second rule is: moderators have more lives than cats. cats are more reasonable tho.

In lieu of (and hoping for) a response from a mod, let me ask: if people were asking for links, why not just zap those posts, as has been the case in the past? And why the directive at the start of the thread that we not discuss the leak?

These are songs that many (most?) of us have been waiting to hear for 20+ years now, and we're supposed to sit on our hands? The board should be hopping right now.
