Knowing the police would take photos they performed one last favor for their friend and employer by dressing Prince to keep his naked pictures off the Internet. I also believe if decided he was at the end and it was a suicide he would had his affairs in order with very specific instructions, but not a suicide note. A known suicide would contradict the positive messages he promoted.

Interesting theory, but Princes neck was swabbed, wouldn't DNA have been found? And why leave his body in the elevator, not his bed? Prince had to be disoriented since a pill was found in the sheets.

the investigation was dropped. To be fair, we don't know if they checked financial data. There was a martini like glass in the studio that was not tested and later tossed in the trash. They tested other bottles but ignored that. And pills were only tested by appearance and no information on the pill compositions have been released that I am aware of.

lastly, investigators should have spoken to Chaka Khan. She may have information si ce she had a dependency to fentanyl. Perhaps they had the same supplier?

I think he was dressed as one last favor as well.

I think being in the elevator supports an accidental OD. "He was running for help", " not sure what had happened etc"

I don't support all of the 'accidental' happenings.

I agree about speaking with Chaka Khan, perhaps they did have the same supplier.

Not sure I am following the neck swabbing idea?

Eyeroll. There is no logic in a lot of these assumptions at all its just the most juvenile reasoning possible. What in the world makes the automatc conclusion Chaka would just know Prince's business? We know for a fact Chaka knew she was taking fentanyl because she said so. Was she getting it from a prescription, absolutely no idea. Why? Because that wasn't something she volunteered. She lives in Los Angeles Prince lives in Minneapolis. How far appart are those 2 cities? I could make a long list of simple questions that'll make the current line of thinking look downright bigoted if truth be told, but we can leave it at naive. This is why the constant encouragement of going around in circles about this is not cool at all. It does nothing but stir up divisiveness among the fanbase. Not one person in the know has stepped forward to answer fan questions about this and they never will. Nobody knows another's true intentions they only know how they preceive what they're reading. Not one extra fact has been released since the final report so what's left besides talking about this with people who really understand where one is truly coming from This constant forcing personal thoughts on people who don't know you from a hole in the wall just seems counterproductive and plain mean to the variety of people who are an equal part of Prince's fanbase
Time keeps on slipping into the future...

This moment is all there is...

OK, people. Since I am sorta ancient (closer to Prince's age), I have friends that have health problems, and it really does get them down some days. I think that Prince was Always in charge of his own narrative, no matter what. I personally think he got so far down the rabbit hole that he knew he was in too far, and probably decided to stay in charge. If he did change his mind at the last minute, it may have been too late. I am a super fan of his, no matter what did happen.....

It was a suicide - for love. A liebestod (German for love/death). Think Romeo and Juliet, Tristan and Isolde, Cathy and Heathcliff, even the Rhett Butler Scarlett O'Hara relationship can apply.

Prince joined Denise Matthews in death.

Every action and what he left behind shows that.

His first attempt was on the plane on April 15, 2016. The two month (April) anniversary of Denise Matthews death.

His second and sucessful attempt was on April 21, the first day of the full moon. As in Under The Cherry Moon.

Prince's first song on his first album said he was going to share his life with you. And that is exactly what he did. You really have to understand his music. Almost all his music is about Denise Matthews. He loved her despite everything. And I can't really explain that statement at this time.

The days he chose to die are part of the suicide note. That he went to the elevator to die after Judith Hill stopped his airplane attempt is part of the suicide note.

The Piano and a Microphone Tour was a farewell to Denise Tour.

There is more if you open your eyes. I can't give it all away.

The first place to start is the music.

Nothing Compares To U. U is Denise.

Black Muse. Denise is the Black Muse

And just about everything in between is about Denise Matthews. If you need a place to start, start with the setlists for the Piano and a Microphone Tour.

Once you realize how important she was to him you will know. Everything else is just noise.

The whole thing is pretty cryptic and shrouded in total mystery. His death is just like his life. Mysterious. The man is an enigma. We will never know exactly what happened. But, we will discuss it until the end of time. I don't want him to be gone. But he is gone from this side.

Sure, it might be a simple case of OD. We seem to know the what of what killed him. The devil is in the circumstances that surrounded it. And it just seemd to go cold case so quickly. The official investigation just seemd to evaporate with too many open ends.

The P & M shows started before Denise even passed.

Nothing Compares is not for Densie, if that were so, then he wouldn't have given it away to Sinead.

I just gave you parts of the note.

You are right P&M started before she died, but after she received a fatal diagnosis.

He gave Manic Monday to the Bangels. And he gave it away as punishment. Manic Monday was meant for Vanity 6. I have an interview with Brenda Bennett who states that Vanity had recorded Manic Monday before she left Prince and the Purple Rain project. Vanity had also recorded Sex Shooter. So, if you read my note above Prince loved Vanity despite everything, including leaving him prior to Purple Rain.

Nothing Compares To U was givien to the Family. And Prince often put his most imporotant songs with other groups or singers or release them on the sly. So yes, Nothing Compares to U is mosot definitely about Vanity. So is Purple Rain and all the Purple Rain music. So is the films, Under The Cherry Moon, Sign Of The Times and Graffiti Bridge. Until you recogonize this fact you will not see the suicide note nor will you understand what happened. When you do recognize this fact all will become crystal clear.

Brenda's wrong. Vanity didn't record Manic Monday. You'd see it in Duane's book if she had.

There has been a lot of misinformation/silence surrounding the Prince/Vanity relationship.

Except in the music.

Duane has some wrong information in his book. Like When Doves Cry was written for Susan Mooonsie. This came from Dez, who to say the least, did not like Vanity.

When Doves Cry is about Vanity.

There are many reasons for the misinformation/silence. One being jelousy/envy. Another being they probably all know why Vanity left Prince and the reason she never went back despite his many attempts to get her back.

Until you realize almost all Prince music is about Vanity and the importance of her in his life, you will never understand his death.

Prince's suicide was because of Denise/Vanity. They could not be together in life so he went to be with her in death. This is set out in the lyrics to 4Ever from Lotus Flower.

I can't explain it all now but Judith Hill, for many reason you will not understand now, was the only one who had a chance to help Prince forget Vanity. She reminded him of Vanity and was a more talented version, in his mind, and one who reversed wrongs Vanity did to Prince. And I can't explain this sentence now either.

That is what Judith Hill's song and video, which was supposed to be released in April 2016, Back In Time is about. The 'HER' Judith sings about in this video is Denise/Vanity. "If I had some magic, I could set you free. I'd make you not lover HER anymore, as much as you love me."

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=puL9CAFm0JQ

This video is Prince's last video and part of his suicide note. It is his goodbye letter to Judith. The words explain to Judith why he left her. The imagry says though he is no longer with Judith physically, he is still with her spirtually and washes the Vanity taint off her. Prince rains down confetti, snow and purple rain and purple light on Judith.

Until you accept these facts you will never understand Prince's death. When you do, it will all become crystal clear.

While I definitely don't think all of Prince's music is about Denise, it's certainly very true that she was a constant weight on his mind over the years. They never stopped talking to each other despite the difference in directions their lives went and that's kind of fascinating given they really only dated for about a year and a half, maybe two.

The song and video for Back In Time are quite fascinating as well. The video was not officially released until last year - well after the promo for the record was complete. The video does depict a sort of rebirth in purple light, which is kind of interesting when you consider the lyrics. Prince was certainly saying something with this production and I think it speaks volumes that Judith candidly does not refer to their relationship in a straightforward way. In her NYTimes interview, she describes it as a very intense relationship and that one of the last things he said to her was he loved her and he'd always be there for her.

I doubt prince would've consciously decided to kill himself in front of Judith though. That seems extremely callous. Even with all his obsession with the afterlife and not putting a ton of value in the terrestrial things, making someone witness you die like that is hurtful and scarring.

He'd obviously not taken those pills before and did not know they were bad news until then. But the refusal to take blood tests at Moline and the refusal to not take the pills again says, to me, that he was willing to die 4/20.

His overdose in Moline did not seem to be an unpleasant experience for him.

He had had experienced other overdoses and likely additional 'close-calls' before. Many of us have said "I would never touch those things again"or something of that nature.

He did not seem to share that aversion.

His last overdose was likely much worse for us.

I read a statement from a detective who said he had talked to a heroin user about Fentanyl and said that it produced a strong sense of euphoria.

That last bit is eye opening. I hadn't read that.

Granted, I also think it's a little bizarre to stop in the middle of a conversation to take pills that would produce a euphoric effect. Is the person not supposed to know you're high as hell? Could he have honestly thought that he wouldn't get high as shit on them?

Did he talk to the person about fentanyl before or after Moline?

The discussion with the detective and the heroin-user was not related to Prince, but it stayed with me.

If Prince had taken Fentanyl during the Moline incident, he would have been aware of that effect.

I do not believe that he knew there was fentanyl in those pills.

I believe he knew that something was off and that he was not feeling well. Some of those pills in the same bottle had only lidocaine in them. They were made to look like Watson's.

I believe that when he took the ones that only had the lidocaine it threw him into withdrawels, and that was why he was not feeling well and couldn't figure it out.

I don't believe that there is any way he could've distinguished the fentanyl pills vs. the non-fentanyl pills.

Sounds like fan fiction to me.

Your belief is in direct opposition to the facts.

How come the two 2 mg shots of Narcan IV (This is an extremly large amount of Narcan. The need for this much surprised the paramedics and doctors in Moline who see overdose all the time.) did not throw him into withdrawal? He was at the hospital for 7 hours under observation. No record of any of these symptoms. If Prince was an addict he would have gone in to immediate full blown withdrawal with this much Narcan.

Because naloxone (Narcan) reverses opioid effects, this medicine may cause sudden withdrawal symptoms such as:

  • nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain;
  • fever, sweating, body aches, weakness;
  • tremors or shivering, fast heart rate, pounding heartbeats, increased blood pressure;
  • feeling nervous, restless, or irritable;
  • goosebumps, shivering;
  • runny nose, yawning; or
  • (in babies younger than 4 weeks old) seizures, crying, stiffness, overactive reflexes.

This is not a complete list of side effects and others may occur. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. You may report side effects to FDA at 1-800-FDA-1088.

https://www.rxlist.com/narcan-side-effects-drug-center.htm#professional

Face reality: Prince intentionally took way to much Fentanyl on April 15 and April 21 with the purpose to end his life.
