This question i keep asking myself: Prince looked very ill since 2014. Why didnt somebody helped him???? Why???

You can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink.

I don't agree that Prince looked ill since 2014. He did Arsino in early March 2014 and he looked good for his age.

He appeared at the Golden Globes in early 2015 and again he looks good.

At the end of year when he appeared at the Grammy's I believe is when he started looking thing.

He would have know of Denise Matthews/Vanity fatal diagnosis at this time.

This is the reason I believe he gets thin. He was commiserating and already planning.

Again what we keep missing is the fact and I rarely hear it, PRINCE had a problem, an addiction. We can come up with these monday morning quarterback scenarios of conspiracy to murder, but it really comes down to a person (Prince in this case) having a circle of people he controlled that would do things for him, help him even if it meant it was hurting him in the long run. We tend to think of PRINCE as being above and greater and smarter than addiction. Well news to all, ADDICTION will come find the smartest and the dumbest. And also I do look at Prince's age more than ever now, as he was getting older, you are losing the feeling it had to you, but what is his outlet? He was a musician and that was his gig, its like an athelete looking at his age and wondering now what do I do when I cant compete on that level, I cant tour, I cant get on stage without some kind of pain. It depresses you, and Prince showed multiple signs of this. I dont for a minute rule anything out, you could tell me tomorrow that Prince took his own life and I would not be shocked, because I look at how he was talking to some people, how stripped down everything was at the end, how bare bones the circle around him was. The time was up, and he may have wanted to try to kick it himself, because of his Privacy, but something was going to get out. I think we can debate and have scenarios all day long, but prince had a problem, and it may have started long ago, and grew as his body broke down, and as pain set in. Lets not forget that these things he was taking almost stopped having effect on him in his mind, that is what addiction does, especially pain medication. One is enough then you need more then you need another then you want stronger medication and soon, you are taking anything you can get.

I disagree. My mother was on narcotic pain killers for years, over 10, for neck pain. She was not an addict. She was an RN and very cognazant of the petential for addiction as I'm sure Prince was well aware of. My mother often cut pills in half just as is noted in the document evidence in the Prince case. If he was addict, when he received two 2mg IV shots of Narcan in Moline he would have gone into full blown withdrawal. He didn't. So, clearly he was using without the assistance of a doctor, but I believe there is much evidence he was not addicted.

Yes. Read about it. It couses anorexia. Digestive problems and so. Im sure prince was clean his all life. Something happened around 2014. He probably started using them because of pain

I kind of glanced through all the theories, posts, etc., and it just hit me just how sad all of this is. No matter what happened, Prince isn't here, he's gone. We'll never be able to feel the excitement of a new concert, a new album, or speculate on what he is going to do next.

No matter how it happened, all anyone has is speculation. What we do know is Prince died of a fentanyl overdose, reportedly by the ME, an accidental overdose. That is what we know, all we know. We do not know Prince's state of mind. He seemed fine a week earlier at the Atlanta shows. He was upbeat. He was joking with the crowd. The only thing that I noticed that night was that his color seemed a little off and it could have been the lighting. Other than that, he was laughing, he was teasing, he was cute and he was endearing and now he's gone.

I do not believe Prince committed suicide, because that would go against his religious upbringing. And anyone that knows Prince, knows how much God meant to him. No way would Prince have jeopardized his soul. But that is MY speculation (and my belief), and until someone presents solid evidence to the contrary, I will hold that it was an accident.

But all this other speculation on who he loved "forever" and how heartbroken he was....I've been heartbroken. I would not have been able to get up on stage and "fake" happiness and laughter, no matter what, if I were heartbroken. In the first show after Denise's passing, you can tell that it hit him hard that night. But that melancholy did not stay with him.

Everything else is speculation. And this is what it has come to. People speculating about Prince's life, his love, his death. After the Moline incident, when people were calling Prince, when fans were messaging him on twitter, when news reports were coming out, he posted one thing: that he was listening to the song Controversy from The Ultimate Prince CD. He hated all of that speculation. And none of it will bring him back.

Actually we do have evidence of Prince's state of mind. Read the Judith Hill statement in the police report. The police after listening to her point blank asked her if he was suicidal.

She said 50-50. I believe this non-committal answer says it all. She was in love with him and wants it not to be true but she didn't say no. If you actuall read his statements, it's clear.

That twitter message about Controversy is part of the suicide note. Read the lyrics: "Some people want to die so they can be free." Prince invited Controversy. In fact i believe that is his signature song.

As far as sad, you shouldn't be. That is why Prince went to the elevator. He wants you to read the lyrics of Let's Go Crazy about the elevator. Are we going to let the elevator break us down? Oh no! Go crazy.

Prince is talking by his action, he wants you to celebrate his life and music.

He was addicted. He was in withdrawal on 4/20. On the night he rec'd the Narcan x2, he likely did feel pretty crummy but he was likely making the best of it until he got home that morning to take some more.

Bro, you're gonna have to work on being concise. These long ass tomes with wonky formatting are not the tea.

You have a point. But when I was concise it was deemed 'fan fiction' so I give a little more. LOL!

As far as the formatting, you are very right. When I set up the post it is all formated for easy reading. However when I post it all gets bunched together. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe someone can advise. I'm relatively new around here.

You have to push Shift and Enter at the same time to get spacing between paragraphs, and hit Enter twice.

People don't speculate in the hopes of resurrecting him. They speculate because, in true Prince fashion, he didn't just die a simple death. He died with a thousand little oddities surrounding it.

Like a broken vase that shattered into a thousand pieces that could fit back together any number of ways and then you notice there is a numbered code printed on the inside of the vase. Now it is no longer just a broken vase, there is some sort of puzzle or riddle attached.

And while I am not saying he was trying to convey some clandestine message, I am saying that there is enough bizarre stuff going on that it garners a lot of theorizing. And why shouldn't it? Prince was important to a lot of people and making sense of his passing is also important.

Again, it was a poster on the Org who tweeted to Prince. That poster is still an active poster here. We've explained that one to you.

And I haven't even talked about the bombshells because I can't or this thread will be deleted. But the bombshells are 50% of the story.

More of the suicide note:

Vanity spent a year in Japan modeling before she met Prince. The cultural experience had great impact on her. So Prince associates things Japanese with Vanity.

Judith Hill is half Japanese.

Research the Lotus Flower in Japanese culture and religious belief.

The booming of the flower symbolizes enlightenment/rebirth.

The last thing Prince tweet about before Moline was Boom from Lotus Flower.

Boom is the blooming of the flower.

Also read the lyrics for 4Ever from Lotus Flower.

Prince tweets at 8:33am "I am transformed" on April 15, 2016.

I know people around here believe that was a retweet. I don't but anyway tweet or retweet it is Prince's tweet. He sends it for a reason.

The Moline Hosptial report states Prince was at the hospital from 1:56am until 9:34am on the 15th.

Judith Hill's statement says Prince used his laptop when away from home.

The laptop was collected as evidence.

The report says the laptop was not used in the am on the 15th from 12:43am until 10:34am.

So how did Prince send this 'I am transformed' tweet at 8:33am.

He set up in advance, thinking he would be dead, and the world would get his postumous tweet.

It's true - the "I am transformed" bit was actually a fan review of the Piano and A Mic show and Prince was notoriously bad at retweeting or replying to tweets. He'd usually just copy paste the whole thing and reply inline. With this, he just copy pasted that one but. The author of the review clarified this at one point.

Yes, it was a retweet. I can't remember the original poster who tweeted that one, but Prince could not retweet people. He'd copy and paste the tweet, and sometimes add his own comment behind it. I do think Prince identified with the sentiment of that tweet, because he did not include the poster's name when he tweeted it.

The tweet in which they claim Prince said he was "#FeelingRejuvenated" was also a retweet (and that was mine). Even news sources reported that Prince said that (and none of them would correct that when I told them Prince didn't say that) and I actually had people threatening me in IMs, wanting to know what I did to Prince that night in Atlanta. I had to show them my original tweet before they'd believe me. Prince copied and pasted it, and in order to get it to fit with my handle, he deleted a space between my name and "What".

Benni, would you please explain the Tweet?

It's true - the "I am transformed" bit was actually a fan review of the Piano and A Mic show and Prince was notoriously bad at retweeting or replying to tweets. He'd usually just copy paste the whole thing and reply inline. With this, he just copy pasted that one but. The author of the review clarified this at one point.

True! Prince(r.i.p.) did the same thing to me when I tweeted him something from my private headquarters @ "The CBox Factory" that he liked..

"That mountain top situation is not really what it's all cracked up 2 B when eye was doing the Purple Rain tour eye had a lot of people who eye knew eye'll never c again @ the concerts.just screamin n places they thought they was suppose 2 scream."prince

I said this before in another post but maybe it bears repeating here. The Piano and a Microphone Tour was his farewell tour to Denise Matthews. I've advised looking up setlists and studying the music.

Performers have to go on stage many times when they are probably not feeling it. However, in these shows, the audience saw a show of Prince at his rawest, most intense and heartfelt. He was pouring out his feelings in these shows. There was no fakery going on in these shows, quite the oposite. Anyone who saw a Piano and Microphone show live is quite privileged.

Thanks!

Sorry the Grammy's were in early 2015. That was the orange suit. He still was looking good there. It was the American Music Awards at the end of November. That is where he is looking thin and has a far off look in his eyes. He know Denise's days are numbered at this point and he is about to embark on the Piano and a Microphone Tour.

No it wasn't. It was his way of dealing with getting off the pain meds. Plain in simple. Everything else evolved from there. Including the memoir.

Your comment makes no sense to me. Are you trying to imply that embarking on the Piano and Microphone Tour was his way of getting off pain meds? And starting to write his memoir was also part of getting off pain meds?

.
The purpose of the Piano and Mic tour was to help him to get off the pain meds while not having to be on his feet/hip.

The memoir evolved out of his talks and expressions when playing the music and talking to the audience.

.

Prince was also very troubled and almost cried in an interview back then when talking about his friend Joni Mitchells health. Prince was also dealing with the break up of Andy Allo who he was very smitten with and inspired by prior to Judith Hill.

No that makes no sense. He wasn't promoting anything. And touring does not help people get off drugs, lol. It's the opposite, in fact.

He broke up with Andy Allo well before the Piano and a Mic tour, like years.

Prince was not planning to die/commit suicide. He was clearly ready to live.

After doing AoA he was probably a bit depressed. He even admitted when asked why have a producer, he responded 'Well when things don't seem to be working...'

.

Prince was definately hopeful and very inspired. He was reaching out to people he loved and wanted to work with them again like the Time, the Family, the Revolution. He bought his new purple 'bass'? that he showed off at one of the Piano Mic shows.

.

Having lost Kim Upsher in December 2015 and a few month later Denise Matthews in 2016 definately hit him hard. But he was ready to live.

Because it doesn't go along with your premise that he was suicidal.

.

Touring as he had before with 3rd Eye Girl and NPG he was on his feet. He was in pain and that of course would cause him to need the pain pills. Being able to sit and play (doing something he never planned before) made it so he would not be in pain being on his feet, dancing, walking etc

.

You're not paying attention. I never said he broke up with Andy during the P&M shows. It was Andy that left Prince during the period of the release of AoA. Judith Hill came after Andy Allo. So Prince was dealing with the loss of the love and inspiration of Allo...

No, it wasn't. I was at the last 2 concerts in Atlanta and he did not mention Denise once. He started these shows prior to Denise's passing. Denise was diagnosed with sclerosis encapsulating peritonitis about a year before her passing. This condition can be managed and is not fatal, but it is very painful. It can be treated with medications and/or surgery (if it's advanced). She did have kidney failure, however, she also had a kidney transplant, which can add another 35 + years to the life expectancy. She was not planning on dying when she did. She was undergoing dialysis, which can also lengthen life expectancy. I have a patient that has been on dialysis for 10 years and seems to be going strong. Doctors have told him he could expect another 20 years if his health continues the way it is right now. Setlists were based on songs Prince wanted to perform on the piano, and were not a dedication to Denise. In fact, according to the Piano and Microphone tour book, he was dedicating these shows to his father, not to Denise.

It was my understanding Denise never underwent a kidney transplant.

I dunno though.
