He'll announce that something is going to be released then not give a date. Remember the liane le havas press conference to announce a release that as yet is still in the ether. I think he has lost quite few people with all the fluffing since last year then ultimately going soft cock. Course I'll buy it but I'm not gonna go out of my way to work out how to watch US tv on streaming - which I think a lot of us woulda done say a year ago. Because Prince reputedly has a 3rd Eye Girl and a solo album in the can. Compared to the long-awaited release of new music, I find the PR remaster quite boring. I'm really not that eager to revisit the past, although I will be interested to hear what previously unreleased material is included with it, as I am not a bit bootleg collector.

The only announcements that the Good Morning America demographic might be interested in would need to be Purple Rain related -- a stage-production, a Revolution reunion... something like that. At the very low end would be a re-issue, new music, or more dates with 3rd Eye Girl. | |

It's really a sad state of affairs that Prince has put himself in....the only people who are excited are the "yes men/women" in his camp, ie funkenberry.
Really, how hard is it to put the shit out and let me buy it without jumping through hoops, without being up at 3 in the morning, without having to have a computer with all the gadgets to run a live stream?
Prince's problem is that he can't accept that his new music doesn't sell anymore. He's making a killing on live shows and residuals however, keeping him afloat.
I will record and watch at a later time...I'm thru being excited until he delivers something worthy. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |

Any other year in the past 4 years I would have been excited. Now not so much. I refuse to get my hopes up again just to have them dashed by a lame appearance with even lamer announcement news. The most exciting artist on the planet has become the most predictable and boring. Strange but true. The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

My guess is a major US arena tour. Most artist will announce a tour on TV so hoping this is it. And hopefully some album release dates. I'm gon keep positive thinking. Love God and I shall 4ever Love u | |

Two multiple disc albums released on Tuesday: One that pairs Plectrum Electrum with a new Prince disc. The second will be a triple Purple Rain reissue. Disc one will be original album remastered, disc two will be rarities, disc three will be the entire uncut First Ave show from 8/03/83.
Then a tour where he will play three hour long sets each night. First set with 3rdEyeGirl, second set with expanded New Power Generation with all the horns and singers.., third set with the Revolution! | |

He's not going on GMA unless it's something big! I think it willl be several things... I wouldn't be surprised if Plectrum Electrum (if he announces it) dropped straight after the GMA appearance online...It's a great way to get some sales with millions watching... I think we'll see a performance and something that'll make us smile!
