Well, he sure as hell missed a good two hours of it. I didn't realize Diddy, Drake, DJ Kahled, Young Jeezy, etc. had music covered!!!! When Prince said that ish, I was like, 'Dude, just stop while you're ahead'. I understand he wanted to be nice but damn!

I think it's kind of weird to get up and accept a Lifetime Achievement award and essentially declare to everyone how you REGRET a huge and SIGNIFICANT portion of the very career which brought you to the point of receiving a Lifetime Achievement award.

No, it isn't. When a person says he has regrets, it is about him. An apology is about someone else - someone a person feels s/he has wronged.

Yeah it was kinda stuck in the 80's which is really a slap in the face to Prince-they just blew over the rest of his songs and then didn't pick the best singers. Hell, I enjoyed seeing El Debarge singing after getting out of jail, but some of his time coulda went to Prince to perform. Matter of fact-they shoulda just let Prince sing shit!
