Even if they knew all they need to know about the new music, to me, he should split it up with new stuff and old stuff or mix a lot of new songs in with the old songs. As long as there is a 50-50 between old and new, I'll be happy. Hell if it's nothing but old stuff (God forbid) I'll be there too.

Prince, MPLSOUND, Lotus Flower, Elixir: The Purple One has plans to release a trio of albums this year, with the first one reportedly evoking his Purple Rain salad days.

I don't like the idea of releasing three albums, perhaps filled with outtakes of older records. And that is what i fear. But we will see, perhaps they will be great. But i doubt it. Well...i wish he would take the time and make a set of 8 or ten really catchy and funky and brilliant tunes. Like back in the 80ies. But that time will never come back.
