Who seen Deion Sanders bitch about being voted 34 on the list of the

100 all time greatest players on the NFL network. This fool really thinks

he should be top 10 and even went as far to say there are only 4 greater

than he is. Hell he isn't even the best CB of all time. Geeeeet the fuck out

confused Of course it is. A college player was paralized this past weekend. Is it likely? Not extremely, but much more than it used to be.

Let me repharse..............this game/job is NOT more important than the players health.

It's NOT that serious.

It is to the players. Look at the condition they're in after they retire.

There 'health' is gone.

The difference is, we don't see the constant pain they're in and how they are crippled after they retire.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

OOOOh. Gotcha. My bad. I totally agree with you on that. I know it's something they choose to do, but I don't believe for a second that any of them are expecting something that serious to happen.

Exactly. Now there are some sports where u get in the arena and u are prepared 4 life altering events such as boxing, but football, basketball, baseball...............no way do u expect not 2 go home intact.

I don't think they go home intact. Look a the weekly injury reports. Listen to players talk about how it takes all week to get to the point where they can play and then it starts all over.

Any sport has the possibility and potential for injury, even serious injury. The only way to guarantee it doesn't happen is to not play. Players assume the risk.

That's why an injured player could not win a lawsuit against the league. They knowingly assume the risk.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

What a wacky day in the NFL. Dolphins got robbed - clearly Big Ben fumbled. Raiders put the shit on the Broncos. Drew Brees and Jay Cutler had a day to forget.

Good game between the Pack and Vikings.

Brett Favre(notes) reportedly admitted leaving voicemails for the former New York Jets game hostess to whom a website says he also sent lewd photos.

Fox television’s Jay Glazer reported Sunday that Favre told league investigators earlier this week he left phone messages for Jenn Sterger, who worked for the Jets in 2008 when Favre was their quarterback.

Fox did not say who provided the information. The NFL said it is not commenting on details of the investigation.

Glazer also reported that Favre denied sending Sterger inappropriate photos.

The NFL is investigating a Deadspin report earlier this month that Favre sent the racy photos to Sterger two years ago. Sterger, now an on-air personality for Versus, has not cooperated with the league yet, but her manager, Phil Reese, told The Associated Press on Sunday that could happen quickly.

“She is strongly considering it, leaning toward it,” Reese said.

Asked if Favre admitted leaving the voicemails for Sterger, but denied sending any photos, Reese added:

“We’re currently in the fact-gathering stage; all I’m doing is dealing with facts. Unfortunately the person in the pictures didn’t also hold up their driver’s license, so I’m not going to speculate as far as identity. But I’m working with people to diligently get all the facts.”

Reese also has said that Sterger has had no discussions with Favre’s representatives about a possible financial settlement stemming from the allegations.

The NFC is so wide open right now. Unlike the AFC, there are no standout teams. It's right there for the Giants if they can knock out the Cowpunks.

Cowbitches have the most talent in the NFC. With a real coach and offensive coordinator, they'd be whippin' ass. I hope Wade Phillips and Jason Garrett stay in Dallas for the next twenty years. biggrin

Shit, Dallas should have gone after Mike Shanahan. He'd do wonders with that loaded offense.

The media treated Favre like he won that game last night. Favre killed his team last night with those ridiculous INTs. What a joke.

Cutler should thank his teammates for not whipping his a__ in the locker room yesterday.

4 INT's (one a pick six) and you lose by three. . . . .

Don't cry for the Vikings - they're getting what they deserved. Instead of doing what Green Bay did(developing a QB, if not Jackson then someone else), they went for the quick fix. Packers have a promising young QB, Vikings are in trouble once Favre leaves. From what I saw last night, Green Bay fans are happy with Rogers and have moved on.

Yep. Cowboys are done. Pretty sure the Vikings are done. As hard as it is for me to admit (especially in our weak ass division with the mathmatical possibility still very much alive), I'm pretty sure the 49ers are done, too. Still say they'll finish with a better record than the Raiders, though. lol How can they loose the the Niners one week and score 59 the next? rolleyes Strange season overall. I have no idea who's going to be out front by seasons end. Pittsburg, Baltimore, New England and the NYJ all look like reasonable choices, though.

This has been the year of shaky QB play. Even the top guys are making bonehead plays.

And it's time for the Alex Smith experiment to end in San Fran. That dude will cost Coach Mike his job.

I agree, and before this weekend I actually wished it would happen more than once. But then I saw Carr play, and he was AWFUL! I mean BAAAAD! Dude could barely throw the ball. Everything was low and WAY behind the receivers. This is unfortunate, because he could be starting in London. Still no solid word on that.

Yeah, other than Brady (who I think has played pretty solid) this has NOT been a great season for QBs thus far.
