MADONNA to shoot "Turn Up The Radio" video in Rome on Sunday
Breaking NewsAn official piece of information about the story brought to you by fellow fansite Drowned Madonna a few days ago comes today from Live Nation Italia.

Quoted in an article by Italian daily newspaper la Repubblica, Live Nation's Roberto De Luca confirms the news about plans to shoot the video for "Turn Up The Radio" in Rome on June 10th, two days before the MDNA tour concert at the Olympic Stadium.

"The project is real, talks are underway but preparations have not started yet", he also says.

The set would allegedly take advantage of the archeological treasures of the ancient Rome and De Luca also confirms that Madonna's camp is looking for a product placement deal for the videoclip.

^ not impressed. It's one of the most mainstream ones on the album, but among the weaker tracks. I'm Addicted would have been a better choice, or at some point, Love Spent

The tour images look good, I wish she was doing more older songs.

nod "I'm Addicted" should have been the first single. It's the strongest dance track on the album.

They should have released "Give Me All Your Luvin" as a SuperBowl/buzz single, then followed it up quickly with "I'm Addicted" as the first 'official' first single (with an amazing video).

Then,"Love Spent" should have been the next single, followed by "Falling Free" (Madonna really needs a ballad single for a change,to show some diversity).

"Turn Up The Radio" isn't terrible, but there are better, stronger tunes on the album.

I think like what many others have said GMAYL should have been a buzz single then I'd go with Gang Bang, then Love Spent, then Girl Gone Wild. Then if a single was to be released for the deluxe version I'd chose B-day Song

There is zero point in releasing another single at this juncture. The album is gone from the Billboard 200 and is about to fall off the world chart, too. It's done.

Madonna should pay $1m for controversial clip, says French politician

French right-wing politician Jean-Marie Le Pen has spoken out against Madonna after the pop star compared his daughter Marine, who was a candidate in the recent French presidential election, to Adolf Hitler.

A video that featured Le Pen with a swastika covering her face was broadcast on a huge screen during a recent Tel Aviv concert during Madonna’s performance of “Nobody Knows Me.” Faces of other global political and religious figures, including Pope Benedict, Sarah Palin and Hu Jintao, also appear in the video.

Marine Le Pen warned, “If she does that in France, we’ll be waiting for her.” French press reported that her camp said she will sue if the video plays at Madonna’s planned Paris concert in July.
Her father spoke out while in Lyon on Thursday, recommending that his daughter “ask Madame Madonna — and everyone who organized her international show — for $1 million.”
The father also referred to Madonna as “this singer who became famous by throwing her underpants between Jacques Chirac’s hands.”

Jean-Marie Le Pen is the honorary president of the National Front party and is known for his anti-Semitic and racist beliefs and comments. His daughter has been attempting to separate herself from Nazi sympathizers who supported her father but is still far to the right on many political matters and is strongly opposed to illegal immigration, abortion and same-sex marriage.

Marine Le Pen earned nearly 18 percent of the public vote in the first round of the French presidential election in April.

Madonna hasn’t responded to the Le Pen family’s criticism of her video and is scheduled to perform in France on Bastille Day, July 14.

Interscope really fucked this one (as did M with her single choices).

Shoulda gone:

lead single - Beautiful Killer

Then:

Turn Up the Radio

Girl Gone Wild

I'm Addicted (clubs only)

Hell, she should have called the whole album Beautiful Killer and made it the opening track. i looooooove Girl Gone Wild but it wasn't going to do her any favors in this market after the GMAYL fiasco.

Also - Hard Candy's Singles should have been

1. 4 Minutes (obviously it did well as the launch for the album).

2. Beat Goes On

3. Incredible

4. Heartbeat

COAD:

1. Hung Up

2. Push

3. Jump

4. Get Together

5. Sorry

AL:

1. Hollywood

2. Intervention

3. Love Profusion

4. Nobody Knows Me (clubs only)

Music:

1. Music

2. Don't Tell Me

3. Amazing

4. WIFLFAG

5. Impressive Instant (clubs)

ROL:

1. Frozen (they got this one right!)

2. ROL (ditto)

3. Nothing Really Matters

4. Swim (would have been all over radio!)

5. Drowned World (international only)

Bedtime Stories:

1. Secret

2. Take a Bow

3. Don't Stop (this shit was getting radio airplay everywhere since the album dropped!)

4. I'd Rather Be Your Lover

5. Human Nature

Erotica:

1. Deeper and Deeper (would have been number 1 if lead off)

2. Erotica (still would have been a solid top 5)

3. Rain

4. Waiting (could have been Justify My Love part 2)

5. Words (that hook is a smash hit)

6. Bad Girl (so we still would have gotten the video)

I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

"Don't Stop" is the weakest track on that album lol I think the singles should have been:

Secret

Take A Bow

Inside Of Me

Forbidden Love

although I like "Human Nature" and its video,I never wanted it to be a single.

I would chosen these songs as the singles...

4 Minutes (the most obvious "hit" on the album)

Beat Goes On

She's Not Me

Devil Wouldn't Recognize You

I would have chosen the following:

Bedtime Stories:
Take A Bow (her big songs at that time were ballads)
Human Nature (Post-Erotica fuck you song)
Secret
Forbidden Love
Bedtime Story (After Ray Of Light's release)

Ray Of Light:
Good choices

Music:
Music
Don't Tell Me
Impressive Instant

American Life:
Nobody Knows Me
American Life
Nothing Fails
Hollywood

Confessions:
Good choices

Hard Candy:
4 Minutes (Obvious lead single)
She's Not Me/Dance 2night (Double A-side)
Beat Goes On
Miles Away

War of Words Between Lady Gaga and Madonna Heats Up

The war of words between two of music’s biggest divas is ramping up after Lady Gaga added fuel to the fire by responding to Madonna’s latest dig.

At a concert in New Zealand, Gaga responded to Madonna for stirring up the “haterade”: “It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves, to put other people down, or make fun of them, or maybe make mockery of their work, and that doesn’t make me feel good at all.”

What did Madonna do to get a reaction out of Lady Gaga? Madonna performed a mash-up of her 1980s hit “Express Yourself” and Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” during a May 31 concert in Tel Aviv.

“I’m on the right track, baby, I was born this way. Express yourself,” Madonna sang.

This feud began in January when Madonna dissed Lady Gaga’s sort of-sound-alike track and described it as “reductive” to ABC News’ Cynthia McFadden. That’s when things got global and even body parts got involved.

A wayward pole clubbed Lady Gaga, 26, in the cranium, but she soldiered on and finished the routine despite telling her audience she might have a concussion. Not to be one-upped, Madonna proudly showed her breast at a concert in Istanbul, Turkey, in front of 55,000 screaming fans June 7.

Was it a stunt? Some observers on Twitter are calling it just that. Remember, this is Madonna, 53, we’re talking about. Anyone who complains about Madonna’s choosing to expose herself onstage is the real boob.

At one time, the two pop goddesses shared the “Saturday Night Live” stage. “What the hell is a disco stick?” Madonna asked at the time.

It was all in frisky fun, but the two seem to be waging in a worldwide cold war of epic proportions.

Does anybody know the name of this Candy Shop remix? It's the first time a Hard Candy song other than She's Not Me actually sounds like Madonna.

I only wished her boyfriend was dancing in heels and panties as the other men on stage. It would make it more interesting since Madonna is in men's clothes.

-Wtv u heard bout me is true,I change the rules n do what I wanna do.[Im n love w God,He's the only way - NOT!]We know we gotta die some day,so Im gon have fun evr MF night!Im gon 2 another life. How bout u?

It's not an actual remix just a re-arranged live version. Would be great if it was released at some point. It's funky!
