Mary J. Blige Introduces Her New Girl Group Just’Us

July 5, 2012

Link

Mary J. Blige brought out her new girl group Just’Us at her closing show in Atlantic City to introduce the quartet to the audience.

The r&b/soul Baltimore natives London Savoy (19), Maryland Lavon (19), Paris Moore (21), and Skye Monroe (21) are signed to MJB’s Matriarch Entertainment and will be working closely with the superstar on their debut album.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

These girls performed at my school in a dance event I was in confused

They werent friendly. I asked their manager to tie a tie for me for a costume and he couldnt even do it eek On top of that, they were late for rehearsal.

The girls have Absolutly 0 stage presence and singing was average I couldnt believe they were signed, all jokes aside.

They sung acapella with out music but the style of music they sung didnt go well with what they had on. eek It was okay honestly, nothing mindblowing

It seems Mary is trying to make them into a harmonizing En Vogue type of group but they really need to wear more classier attire and they individually arent on the same level of vocal ability.

I know - London, Maryland, Paris, and Skye = "Just'us."

We're getting to the point when the weirdly named kids are becoming adults. It's only a matter of time before we have CEOs and professors named Seattle Smith and Rainbow (or Rainbeau or Reignbow) Jones.

confused somehow I knew this project would, unfortunately, involve orangutan-orange and blonde hair.

This is what you want...This is what you get.

Agree... I think they should go natural - I'd be interesting and fresh. Beyonce should def try it or at least take out that damn blonde thing she got! neutral
