I haven't been sleeping well these past few months and as a result, I rarely ever dream anymore.

BUT...last night I had the most vivid dream that I've had in years.

I was at a house/offices of Whitney's childhood church, and was led upstairs to the "attic" where she still lay dead on the floor. She was visibly pregnant. There was some intrigue as to her death since I was led to a closet where a bagful of papers had been overlooked by the police, as I was given a cryptic note with a message that she'd written right before her death (that I can't recall right now).

shake

ANYWAY...it was very vivid and I awoke this morning on edge.

Just thought I'd share.

Do you remember where you were when you first heard I Will Always Love You?

I do...
I was listening to 98.7 KISS FM house mix from 12am to 3am.....Usually around 20 to thirty minutes later I would doze off, but this time in my twilight I remember hearing the opening bars... My eyes shot right open, instantly wanting to hear it. It literally sent chills through me...it was CRYSTAL CLEAR AND ANGELIC. I flipped my tape over in the deck, cuz I was taping the house mix and hit record. I thought they would say who was singing it and I didn't want to miss it. I was at first kind of murky on the vocalist until she sang "Bittersweet memories".. A giant koolaid grin came upon me, so much I sat up on the edge of my bed. I plugged in headphones to hear it louder.....that article posted a few slots above this one sums up exactly what I heard that early morning. I was floored at the clarity, the delivery, the emotion and finally the effortless flow. I knew that song was going to blow the hell up, I was like OMG, I felt like I just was let onto a big secret, that Whitney could sing her ass off. I have stated before that it will NEVER sound the same and this is the reason why....that single moment was pure magic, it will be one of my true..."Bittersweets" sad

From Whitney's Best Friend Robyn:

I met her when she was 16. It was at a summer job. I was working at a community center in East Orange, New Jersey, and she was working just like the rest of us. She was there to work. She introduced herself as "Whitney Elizabeth Houston," and I knew right away she was special. Not a lot of people introduced themselves with their middle names back then. She had peachy colored skin and she didn't look like anyone I'd ever met in East Orange, New Jersey.

She was nothing like the Whitney Houston she became but at the same time she was already there. She knew, and so did everyone around her. She was doing shows in Manhattan with her mother, and she'd change her clothes in the car and get on stage and do her thing. She hadn't signed her contract yet. But she was modeling for Wilhelmina because she was discovered on the street. She was walking in front of Carnegie Hall and someone walked up to her and said, "There's a modeling agency upstairs that's looking for someone just like you." She walked upstairs and they signed her. That's what it was like, that's what she gave off. She looked like an angel. When my mother first met her, she laughed and said, "You look like an angel, but I know you're not." And she wasn't. But she looked like one.

She chose the life she lived, and she chose it from the beginning. She knew the life better than anyone. Her mother was Cissy Houston, and she had been on the road with Dionne Warwick. She got her chops singing in church, and her mother said to her, "You know, you can always sing for free. You can always sing in church. You don't have to choose the professional life." But she chose because she'd been chosen. Some people sing just because. She was never like that. She had to put on her gear. She knew it was going to be a job and that's how she treated it. Once she committed to something, she finished it. Not long after I met her, she said, "Stick with me, and I'll take you around the world." She always knew where she was headed.

And we went around the world. I was her assistant and then her executive assistant and then her creative director. I was her point person for the day-to-day. I traveled all around the world first-class and anyone who ever worked for her will tell you her checks never bounced. You knew she was going to take care of you. She wasn't going to be in a five-star hotel while you were in a two. I flew the Concorde the way some people ride the bus. She shared the fruits, and she changed a lot of lives. The record company, the band members, her family, her friends, me — she fed everybody. Deep down inside that's what made her tired.

It was never easy. She never left anything undone. But it was hard. The Bodyguard was great when it was done, but it was a lot of work. She did the movie, she did the music, she did everything — and when she was done, she was done. She nailed it. The music supervisor brought her Linda Ronstadt's version of "I Will Always Love You" way before Kevin Costner brought Dolly Parton's version — and she always knew what she could do with it. So when Kevin came in and played it for her and told her he wanted her to sing it for the movie, she said, "Fine." She wasn't much for showing off what she had, except when she had to.

I always compare her performance of that song with a great athlete hitting his peak — with Michael Jordan in the playoffs. It was the absolute pinnacle of what she could do, of what anyone could do — and then she had to keep on doing it. Everybody wanted to hear her sing that song, and so she sang it. It didn't matter whether she had a cold, or wasn't in good voice; she had to deliver it, and she had it arranged so she could deliver every last note. And even if the note wasn't there, the feeling was. A lot of her songs were like that. They were a lot to deliver, but she delivered them every note, every time.

It's so strange that she died when she did. February was her month. Her first album was released on Valentine's Day, right around the time of the Grammys, right around the time of Clive Davis's party. It was an orchestrated thing. She was Clive's girl, his great discovery. And she died right before Valentine's Day, right before the Grammys, right before Clive's party. Of course, she was going. I don't know if she was singing, I don't know what kind of pressure she was putting on herself. But she was going, that's for damned sure.

People thought they had to protect her. She hated that. And that's what people don't understand: She was always the one doing the driving. Someone just called and told me that the family kept Whitney from seeing her. Nobody kept Whitney from doing anything. She did what she wanted to do. When people left her or were told to leave, they could never believe that Whitney would never call them — but she never did. She was working hard to keep herself together, and I think she felt that if she admitted any feeling of sadness or weakness she would crumble. One time, back when we were young, we were out, we were partying, and I said, "Listen, I have to go. I'm tired. I can't make it." And she looked at me with her eyes wide and said, "I've got to make it."

And that was Whitney. She could not pick up the phone, and that meant it was too painful. I have never spoken about her until now. And she knew I wouldn't. She was a loyal friend, and she knew I was never going to be disloyal to her. I was never going to betray her. Now I can't believe that I'm never going to hug her or hear her laughter again. I loved her laughter, and that's what I miss most, that's what I miss already.

I'm trying not to think of the end. I'm trying not to listen to all the reports. All these people talking about drugs — well, a lot of people take drugs, and they're still around. Whitney isn't, because you never know the way the wind blows. I just hope that she wasn't in pain and that she hadn't lost hope. She gave so much to so many people; I hope that she felt loved in return. She was the action, for such a long time. She's out of the action now. I hope she can finally rest.

Very touching letter.

She really loved Whitney. She was fiercely protective of her. She always had her back. U could not get to Whitney without going through her...During a certain period in time.... sad

FAKE TRANNY BITCH. She always went out of her way to say negative things about Whitney. And now all of a sudden she's sad? Get the fuck outta here.

Boy I tell you, Whitney was straight dogged by the media since the day she got famous until the day she died. It was always something, she was slut, lesbian, a crack addict, broke, over-dosing on diet pills. And now they wanna call her the voice and queen of pop? Where were they when Whitney was in her dark days? Kicking her when she at her lowest point!! And now that she's dead they wanna give her flowers?

MOVE THE FUCK ON. WHITNEY NEVER NEEDED YOUR SYMPATHY AND SHE DAMN SURE DOESN'T NEED IT NOW. FUCK ABC, NBC, CNN, HLN AND ALL YOU OTHER BITCH ASS MEDIA SITES

The Vultures have started circling.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/2012/feb/13/whitney-houston-album-price?newsfeed=true

Sony Music has come under fire after it increased the price of a Whitney Houston album on Apple's iTunes Store hours after the singer was found dead.

The music giant is understood to have lifted the wholesale price of Houston's greatest hits album, The Ultimate Collection, at about 4am California time on Sunday. This meant that the iTunes retail price of the album automatically increased from £4.99 to £7.99.

Houston's The Ultimate Collection, originally released in 1997, was the second top-selling album on iTunes on Monday morning. Apple returned the album to its original price late on Sunday.

Music fans described the move as a cynical attempt to capitalise on Houston's in-demand greatest hits records. The price hike came as tributes flooded in for the singer, whose catalogue includes hits such as I Wanna Dance With Somebody and I Will Always Love You. Houston was found dead in her Los Angeles hotel room on Saturday afternoon, local time, at the age of 48.

The change happened when Sony Music, which owns the rights to much of Houston's back catalogue, increased the wholesale price of The Ultimate Collection. This automatically boosted the retail price of the popular album, although Apple is responsible setting the price paid by music fans.

It is understood that the change occurred after Sony Music reviewed Houston's iTunes catalogue after the singer was pronounced dead.

One insider close to the situation said the price hike was not a "cynical" move – but that the wholesale price of Houston's The Ultimate Collection was wrong. The change in wholesale price boosted the album's retail price on iTunes.

Houston's The Ultimate Collection and Whitney – The Greatest Hits were in the top three albums on iTunes at noon on Monday.

Apple and Sony Music declined to comment.

WHITNEY HOUSTON'S FINAL MEALRx and Alcohol

0213-alcohol-found-in-whitney-houston-hotel-room
Whitney Houston consumed alcoholic beverages shortly before she died, and the mix of prescription drugs and booze could have produced the fatal result.

TMZ has obtained photos of the room where Whitney died, showing remnants of her final meal. We're told she ordered a hamburger, fries, a turkey sandwich and jalapenos. The picture also shows a Heineken can and an empty champagne glass. Sources say the glass had been filled with champagne.

The picture (below) was shot in the bathroom after Whitney's body was removed and shows a tray which contained the turkey sandwich and jalapenos. Family sources say Whitney ate the burger and fries and took the turkey sandwich and jalapenos into the bathroom where she planned on eating both items after her bath.

If you look closely you can see water on the bathroom floor.

As TMZ first reported, authorities told the family Whitney may have suffered a fatal reaction from mixing drugs and alcohol, possibly leading to a heart attack.

0213-bathroom-where-whitney-houston-died

eek Ok, what I want to know is how did TMZ get these photos??? I mean, arent these photos a part of the investigation? Shouldnt they remain concealed and with the investigators? How is it that TMZ "obtained" them and put them up on their site? whofarted whofarted Someone give them to TMZ for money perhaps?

Yeah Wendy would wanna cry... I remember when she did this after Whitney's interview with Oprah and how she was like Whitney didn't own up to her drug problem blaming it on Bobby (she didn't blame the drug abuse on Bobby).

She mentioned Whitney a few times after that. Fuckin bitch. I really wanted Whitney to not appear on her show while the rest of the Sparkle cast did. Just to spite her ass. Oh well..

I doubt she would've attended anyway...

Yeah Timmy, that's the point. For her to NOT show up but the rest of the Sparkle cast to show up. lol
