The rumour about Madonna recording Kids is totally true.
I've asked Jean Baptiste about it a few months ago and he replied he offered the song to Madonna and she actually recorded her own version.
Madonna listened to 3 leftovers from Flesh Tone, copenned by Jean Baptiste, and Madonna picked Kids, so it's part of the tracks she cut for the album.
Kelis' version was coproduced by Boys Noize, I don't know Madonna's.
At this stage, I don't know whether Kids will make the final cut or not, as Jean has been pretty vague last time we chatted, but a Madonna sung version of it does exist.
Just for the record, the track is inspired by the gay club scene, so you can easily guess what the title 'Kids' stands for. (MADONNATRIBE)

Madonna and Solveig Turning up the Radio – New Album Track Revealed!

Madonnarama, was the first to reveal the collaboration with Martin Solveig, William Orbit and Benny Bennassi for Madonna’s upcoming album.
We also gave you the title tracks “Gimme all your luvin”, “Girls gone wild”, “Masterpiece” and “Bang Bang” before anyone else…

Today, we can reveal the name of another track produced by Martin Solveig for Madonna’s next album, called “Turn up the Radio”.

The track is already being considered as a second or third single release for the album.
It’s an uptempo dance-pop song that could get numerous amazing remix treatments and become a massive hit in clubs and in the charts.

Stuart Price remix for the first single

DrownedMadonna.com heard some more interesting news and we want to share it with you. Beside co-writing and co-producing the track, Martin Solveig himself has done a few mixes of Madonna's Gimme All Your Luvin. But also the wizard William Orbit remixed the first single, and so did Italian DJ Benni Benassi. The exciting news is that Stuart Price remixed Gimme All Your Luvin as well!! Also other 2 names are mixing Madonna's new single, but we can not say anything as for now. Stay tuned to DrownedMadonna.com for more.

"Trust",a ballad, will be the opening song on Madonna's new album. The album contains 4 ballads

http://drownedmadonn...-the-album.html

DrownedMadonna.com heard that Madonna's new album is expected to be open by a ballad called Trust. The song is co-written by Sia and produced by William Orbit, as earlier rumoured.
Trust is a cross between Live to Tell and Gone. Incredibly melodic, full of layers and harmonies, and background vocals. All strings and flutes.
We also learnt that Madonna's new album contains 4 ballads now. Bang Bang maybe be not on the album anymore, but it's not definitive yet.
There will be also a USB album. 17 are the tracks that have been registered as for now, and they should be on ASCAP by the end of the month.
Keep in mind that nothing is definitive at this point. So everything could still change.

I've just heard a demo of "Turn Up the Radio"...it sounds a lil bit like Black Eyed Peas but with a kinda disco feeling 2 it...let's what Madonna made with it, cuz the way it is, it's pretty generic euro-techo sound

Right. When's the last time that happened? 1995? 1998?

The album still has no title. I was told 'M' and 'Mirror' are all being thrown around. 30 years is a long time, new record label, and the first release with Live Nation. This time around the idea was to wait until all artwork was complete before deciding on a title...we don't want Hard Candy/Give It 2 Me round 2. I've been told 19 tracks were recorded, some with producers who haven't been mentioned, and others who have denied their involvement. The project is very secretive. 14-15 are meant for release, with the others possibly being a bonus of some sort. William Orbit is overseeing the main sound, just as Stuart Price did with Confession On A Dance Floor. There are multiple producers, and I've been told that even from that 4 song CD I mentioned earlier, GMAYL is the weakest track of the 4. It is a different sound for Madonna, mainstream and great for a performance...but not her best. The album features all Madonna vocals, including background. There was rumor of Donna and Nicki making an appearance, not true. Orbit has drawn out Madonna's voice similar to that of Ray of Light and Music. Masterpiece is an indication of the vocal production. Only Nicki Minaj is on the album a second time.

an excellent commentary written by a fan and floating around on various Madonna forums....

If you hadn't noticed by now, Madonna is the most resilient pop star the world has ever seen. She can adapt to anything and is a perceptive and shrewd businesswoman. Harvard business students could learn a thing or two from her. The truth of the matter is, given the fickle nature of audiences in general, no solo pop star has ever lasted this long (into her fifties so far) and stayed at this consistently high level on a global scale.

MJ (God Bless MJ!!) could have done it, but as we all have sadly seen, he was as much a victim of his fame as he was the creator of it. Ditto for Elvis. Prince could have done it, but even though his creative output is still strong, he's lost his relevance in the mainstream. Janet, no offense to her fans (and I love me some old-school Janet), can't stop referring to her holy vagina in every album since "The Velvet Rope". Her recent albums have been a shallow, hollow shell of what it brilliantly used to be. She could definitely have done it. (I'm still holding out for something special from her if she could just leave her damn vagina out of it.)
Don't EVEN get me started on Whitney. Ugh. Now Mariah, she's gonna come back, but let's face it, her amazing voice, some great music, and slammin' body (I'm gay btw.) are all she ever offers up these days. She's not the cultural heavy hitter and live performer that Madonna is. Britney? She could become massively huge (even bigger than Mother Monster I dare say) if she actually tried, but she's been phoning it in for a while now.

Madonna is walking into uncharted territory. How does someone who is also a woman continue to be a global phenomenon well into middle age and beyond? NOBODY else has done it at this level yet. So far, companies and whole corporations are still forking up MILLIONS of dollars (on a 53 year old woman!) to make her star shine bright. Stadiums AND arenas around the world get sold out for her shows. After eleven albums, her next album is the most anticipated one of 2012.

SHE IS WRITING THIS STORY. She's been writing it all along.

Could we all just chill the fuck out? Sit back. Enjoy the music. Go to her shows, and lose ourselves in every blissful moment.

If you hadn't figured it out by now, she knows EXACTLY what she's doing. If you look back at her legacy, she plays every success and every misstep to her advantage. This is still her playground. No matter what happens, she will come out on top in the end. History will repeat itself. It always has.

One thing I respected about Madonna years ago was her willingness to take chances and re-create herself. Whether it will pan out this time remains to be seen. But, since I've just now started listening to her Confessions and Erotica albums for the first time (Yes, that's right!) I hope that she does justice to her legacy and turns out the kind of music and lyrics that are recapturing me on these two albums. Just my two cents as someone who is listening to albums after not listening for a long, long time.

Madonna is being tight-lipped about this project. The producers aren't allowed to confirm their involvement,or give away too many details. From what I understand,we're in a for a few surprises when the final tracklist (and list of producers) is revealed.

Madonna Wishes you Happy Birthday! – New Title Track Revealed!!

We also revealed that Madonna has collaborated on more than one song with M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj for the upcoming album. They will both feature separately on two different tracks.

Madonnarama sources confirm that one of those duets is called “Birthday Song” and has been produced by William Orbit.
The song has been described to us as a fun, ultra-catchy pop song.

I'm a big fan of Madonna up untill a certain time in her career but I dont understand why current Madonna fans keep saying this. Michael is the longest lasting solo star whether they want to admit it or not. Michaels reign lasted from 1971 - 1999. Madonnas from 1983 - 2002. Her fans bump up her time by going up to 2008 but if they dont include Invincible as part of Michaels reign (which I think is fair as it did do disappointingly) Confessions, Hard Candy and American Life shouldnt be either. Yes they had top ten hits but so did Invincible. Madonna hasnt been popular among young people since the Music era and Michael since History era ended.
