http://www.digitalsp...y-the-rent.html Madonna teases new world tour in 2012: 'I still have to pay the rent' Madonna has confirmed plans to embark on a new world tour.
The singer revealed that she will play a string of shows to support her 12th studio album MDNA, which is expected to be released this spring.
Appearing on The Graham Norton Show, The Sun quotes the star as joking: "I just have to pay the rent. A girl has to make a living, but truthfully I do enjoy it. Touring is the most rewarding of all my jobs."
However, Madonna maintained that she was angered when the demo version of her new single 'Gimme All Your Luvin' leaked online last year and assured fans that the album will be out soon.
Speaking about its release, she quipped: "It's soon. It depends how quickly people hack in to my server and leak it. Can people wait? It's terrible."

Things are happening really quickly The new single will impact radio on February 7 (two days after the SuperBowl performance) and now it appears that the 2012 tourdates will be announced around that time too.The new era has officially begun.
It's hilarious how Madonna creates controversy even when she's not really trying to
http://www.nme.com/news/madonna/61389 Anti-drugs campaigners hit out at Madonna over 'MDNA' album title Cannabis Skunk Sense have called Madge's new LP title 'ill advised' Madonna has been criticized by anti-drug campaigners over her decision to title her new studio album 'MDNA'.
The singer revealed the title of her 12th studio album during a pre-recorded interview with Graham Norton for his BBC1 show yesterday (January 11) and has said it will be released on March 12. Though the album title is an abbreviation of Madonna's name, it is also similar in sound to the name of Class A drug MDMA and for this reason it has been criticized by anti-drug campaigners.
Lucy Dawe, a spokesperson for the campaign group Cannabis Skunk Sense told The Sun that Madonna's choice of album title was "an ill advised decision".
Madonna will release the album's first single 'Gimme All Your Luvin' in the last week of January, shortly before she takes to the stage to perform during the half-time show of Super Bowl XLVI on February 5. The track, which leaked onto the internet last year, features appearances from both Nicki Minaj and MIA.
The album is Madonna's first since 2008's 'Hard Candy' and has been produced by William Orbit and Martin Solveig.
I don't see how this title is another run at the kiddie market.
What's her title supposed to be? Why should age always have to be part of a Madonna conversation?
I love the title it has multiple meanings and it's pretty cocky as well.
My girl Madge is coming back HARD.
It's clearly supposed to evoke, oh, MIA and MDMA.
It makes me worry that the album will have that "trying to hard to prove I still got it" deperation that the whole Hard Candy project had. Believe me, I'm rooting for her, I just wish she'd relax a little and stop worrying so much about still being seen as edgy.
Coming from the mother? I want Madonna to rant and complain about what it really means and bitch at people trying to downplay something feminine again I love the title and didn't even know what the reference was right away. It kind of reminded me of e=mc^2
Funny...the moment I heard the title I understood the reference to DNA...and yet my son, the science major, at first heard MDMA and thought it was a drug reference...as too many others mistakenly think. I like the new album title...

I like how the GaGa fans went apenuts over Madge commenting on something that's been already commented over to death by everybody else, including good ole Weird Al.
Besides, what she said was masterful Backhanded Compliment 101. The HBIC has marked her turf. Bravo.
When Madonna was asked what “M.D.N.A.” stands for at the London premiere of W.E., she replied…
What does M.D.N.A. stand for? Madonna. I just like to play on words… triple entendre. I think it’s going to be an exciting year.
On the red carpet, Madonna gave a little interview to British magazine Heat, mentioning her next album…
Heat: Would you ever give up the power of your celebrity for true love? Madonna: Maybe. Why not?
Heat: You look amazing – what’s your secret? Madonna: Um, love?
Heat: And Fairy Dust… Madonna: Yeah that, and fairy dust. I don’t have a secret, just being happy.
Heat: Would you ever consider making a musical about your life? Madonna: Oh God no!
Heat: Would you sanction one though? Madonna: Why not, Yeah. Aren’t all my records and everything I do over the years, the musical of my life anyway? More or less.
Heat: Are you aware your album title “M.D.N.A.” sounds like the class-A drug “MDMA”? Madonna: It sounds like my name MA-DONN-A – where is your head at, baby?
