People elsewhere (not saying anyone here on the .org has) seem to want to blame this on Robin. She was doing her job and most of these interviewers WANT to ask those hard questions. This boy should have been a man and kept his cool PERIOD. I can see where he steered away from it and he should have either walked off or ignored the question. Where is is PR team? So he runs off like a little diva, locks himself in the room and TRASHES IT? And then I heard somewhere else he's calling her a "black bitch".

confused His sales will not be messed up by this and it's actually a sad thing. People keep saying forgive this man and he's so young and blah blah, but this is no koinky-dink people. This is a serious problem and pointing the fingers and saying people provoked him is a real crock.

At first I wanted to give him his props for comparing himself to Charlie and Mel. Because people DO seem to glorify it. Charlie is brinigng his ass to Chicago for some kind of tripe, I think. I don't think I need to go into the issues of skintone and such, so I won't. I haven't forgiven ANY of these men because I'm colorblind as hell when it comes to people who want to use violence and drugs and such to solve their problems. ESPECIALLY when they endanger the lives of women and children.

I guess that makes me a hater because this man was a blip on my radar to begin with. I only turned an eye in his direction because of the issues with Rihanna. The boy needs help. Not praise, not high record sales--HELP.

Chris Brown -- Back to the Grind

After his violent outburst on "GMA" Tuesday morning, a still shirtless Chris Brown unwound by ... bumping and grinding on some skankily-clad chick's booty at his record release party at Webster Hall in NYC last night.

Chris will get it in the end.

Well, there you have it. A #1 CD and a debut in sales that were greater than Rihanna's. Now perhaps his trifling fans can stop blaiming Rihanna, Robin the world etc for trying to "ruin" his career. He's back and #1 again, yo!!! He's on top of the world.

Edited to say "Rihanna" not "him" duh

I don't know why folks are still pretending like it's about integrity, style or anything like those things anymore. It's about being loud and being seen. The folks who are truly upset by his antics weren't gonna buy his music anyway, so what does he care what they think. Kids learn fast these days.

Mel's career? Prob. was most affected when he divorced his wife, but they stay in contact. If anything, she may have protected his money from Oksana. He semi-retired from acting. He put his own money up for "Passion of the Christ", and made half a billion dollars. And that's on top of the royalty checks he gets from all the other movies he's been in. I am pretty sure Oksana was far from innocent in getting Mel Gibson worked up though (and I'm not defending what he did in any way).

Charlie's been playing the bad boy for decades. He was hired to be on "Two and a Half Men" because of his reputation. But the whole thing with the threats against women... and as far as his dad goes, Emilio Estevez said that their dad pretty much left them to fend for themselves, and hung out on the streets of Manila with.... Laurence Fishburne, who has enough family problems of his own.

I do think Charlie did pull it together, and just decided to take a page or two from Hunter Thompson. Notice his ex-wife dropped the restraining order. I don't think there's any harm in the girls around his kids, but I do think when he got fired from the show, he said he had no money, so she said he couldn't see the kids. Just speculation on this, but it just seems like that's what prob. happened.

Why Chris Brown decided to trash the room, or his entourage... he just came off from a pretty intense dance and was prob. hyped up. Maybe he's hitting the juice or has some sh!t going on like Axl Rose, who had his own women problems back in the day. Robin already interviewed him before about it, so bringing it up again was kind of ridiculous on her part. Just have him do a PSA and be done with it. If people think what he did was vile, don't buy his music or see his shows. All I know is someone is going to take a swing at him just for bragging rights.

Y'all need to let the boy breathe. I am not saying what he did to Rihanna was right because it wasn't. I used to be a fan and even my respect for him went down a few notches but shit, it happened 2 years ago, Chris and Rihanna moved on already and so do we. Chris came on GMA to promote his album, move on, and talk about the present, not go backwards and talk about Rihanna and all that other BS and Robin kept badgering him about it and I know how that feels. We've all done wrong and don't front and act like none of you wouldn't be pissed if someone wouldn't put your faults or mistakes behind you. I'm not a fan but the boy has been through enough already, let him move on and get his life back on track.

Plus there's no proof it was Chris that even smashed the window. It could've been someone in his entourage, nobody really knows who did it or what went down. shrug

This is true and I agree. He will never be considered the same as those individuals. If I remember correctly, Charlie Sheen was arrested at one point for beating up his wife, Mel Gibson was accused of doing so, and as were quite a few others. It's a terrible double standard.

But Mel's career is in shambles over his antics. And Sheen is just a bad boy acting out for comical reasons.

And in shambles for talking about the Jews.

How many journalists have approached him or turned down an opportunity to even get his side of the story is the question. Therefore, I find it weird for the media to dig up this issue now, especially if his purpose to appear on GMA was to promote his album. Where was his lawyers or even his handlers at the time? I don't know how credible this statement I've been hearing in the last two years, but it's been said that Rhianna gave him herpes, and that she could be a bag of nerves, a provoker. I am not justifying the fact that he put his hands on her, but I heard those are the contributing factors.

That story was the hottest story for about 3-4 months after it happened, so I'm sure he was approached by a bunch of journalists simply because of that. But it's not weird to dig up the issue when only one sside has been told. The best story isn't ever from the victim's standpoint, it's from the attacker's standpoint. What made him do it? Why did he do it? Those are questions that people wanna know. Chris' mistake is not speaking up and THEN trying to promote a CD as if nothing happened. His people handled his shit the wrong way all around.

He offered to give his side of the story to Oprah. Isn't that what Bboy said? Why did she turn it down?

She doesn't look too thrilled in that photo. My father told me back in the day, he witnessed Ike smack Tina at some airport, back in the 60's, and her wig fell off.

CryBaby Thug Chris Brown Apologizes For GMA Outburst

March 24, 2011

Link

Chris Brown has apologized for storming off the set of ABC's Good Morning America, throwing a cooler and allegedly breaking a window because he was so angry about being asked about ex-girlfriend Rihanna.

Brown emphasized that no one was hurt during the incident. confused

His reason for the outburst? "[I had to release] the anger that I had inside of me" about being questioned about Rihanna. He has claimed he was caught off guard by the questions and was under the impression the interview would focus on his new album.

"Yes, I got very emotional," he said on 106 & Park. "And I apologize for acting like that."

Earlier on Wednesday, Roberts said the singer would be welcomed back on GMA.

"I wish him the absolute best," Roberts said on ABC's morning show. "We extended the invitation to him [to come back], and sure hope he takes us up on it because I'd sure love to have another chat with him."

But she also claimed that Brown knew about the questions ahead of time.

"Any time we have a guest, we let them know ahead of time the subject matter and the topics. And even right before the interview I let him know," Roberts explained again Wednesday on air. "I was shocked like everyone else, because we've had a wonderful relationship. I've been to his home, he's very gracious, and we've had easy conversation."

That's probably because he was an emotional/verbal/drug abuser as well. Chris Brown seems to have really terrible anger issues, but Ike Turner? ...On a, completely, different level.
