That was my first reaction to the pics, but once I got over the initial shock value, I find them to be quite beautiful and I wish I can get my hands on them. I really like the fact that Michael was really taking the androgyny thing there. Some people may not find that appealing, but I think that's pretty awesome. Too bad it wasn't used, I could have just imagined the utter shitstorm that would have ensued.

I mean, damn, Bowie & Prince did it, why couldn't he do it? I think that those pics looks way better than the craptacular one that ended up on the album cover. I would take this any day of the week.

This was a pilot animation of Michael Jackson, using software tools developed at New York Institute of Technology's Computer Graphics Lab, around 1984. This was created at least 5 years before color PCs or Macs existed.
