Interesting interviews..
I have alot of thoughts on this as everyone..and I miss Michael so much.
-on a lighter note, in part 2..dang i hope that 'Paul Underwere' (sp?) has the film to the Victory and Bad tour stored away.

Thanks for posting this interview. I've always admired Frank.

Also, the person mentioned is Paul Gongaware. He's an executive at AEG and he was also Prince's manager during Prince's O2 run in 2007. I had some correspondence with Paul back then regarding some things to do with Prince's performances, he seems like a cool guy. I doubt he'll have Victory/Bad tour footage though if his role on those tours was only as a cameraman.

Debbie Rowe: Back to Court on Jackson Kids Visits

By: Roger Friedman // Thursday November 5, 2009

Debbie Rowe — mother of Michael Jackson’s two eldest children, Prince Michael and Paris – is on her way back to court. The reason? Sources say that in the four months since Michael died, she still has not seen the kids.

I am told that the deal Rowe worked out with Katherine Jackson after Michael died provided for visits with the kids and a family court psychiatrist. Rowe insisted on the latter, thinking it would be helpful to introduce her into the kids’ lives.

But one visit was scotched by Katherine Jackson, and since then the Jacksons have resisted efforts to make a meeting possible. Rowe is unhappy with the situation, and is said to be instructing her attorney to go back to their family court judge for an intervention.

“Katherine doesn’t like the idea of the psychiatrist,” says a source. She also, plainly, doesn’t like the idea of the children’s natural mother getting close to them.

Maybe one reason is that there are a lot of questions about what is going on in the Jackson home. For one thing, one of Rowe’s provisions in the original agreement is that Joseph Jackson have nothing to do with the kids. He’s been revealed by Michael in several different kinds of interviews as abusive to children. He’s certainly been openly exploitative of Michael since his death.

But Joe Jackson has regularly been a presence in Prince, Paris and Blanket’s lives since Michael’s death and the court agreement. In fact, sources say he was there at Hayvenhurst last week with them.

To make matters worse, I received a call last week from a friend of Joe Jackson’s, and someone who usually defends the family.

“Those kids should not be in that house,” this insider told me. “All that’s talked about is money, Michael’s money, and how to get it. The kids are very sweet now. But they’ll be ruined if they turn into Jacksons.”

The Jackson 5 stuff being released next week sounds awesome. I've listened to all the previews and bought "That's How Love Is".

I thought "This Is It" was a good song, just not worthy of being the first major posthumous release. "I'll Be There" done for the Pepsi commercial, I think they also recorded a full version of that and I think that was amazing.

"Serious Effect" I think is a super-solid track. Took me a few listens but once I found the groove, I thought it was pretty good. Some of that stuff Loren did with MJ is minimalistic but kinda funky.

I agree to an extent.

They are better than mainstream releases but, CERTAINLY not better than most ALL songs released today...not by a long shot and you would have to be insane to think so.

Some of these outakes sound like teen girl band stuff (Nightline, Trouble) and Hot Street is funny stuff, mega cheese.

They didn't say the unreleased material, they said filler material, meaning album cuts that weren't released as singles or weren't hugely popular. And I agree for the most part. I Can't Help It, The Lady In My Life, Baby Be Mine, 2 Bad, Dangerous and other tracks were never released as singles and may be considered filler, but they are fantastic.

Can't say I see how Niteline or Trouble sound like teen girl stuff, but that wasn't the material being spoken of anyways, at least in the posts you quoted.

Oh.

On Thriller and Off The Wall, i'd agree (mainstream only). Post 80s albums, iffy. Although i'd prefer them.

Gotta disagree on Dangerous, one of my least fave MJ tracks. The looping and repetitive nature of the track drives me insane.

Edit: Really? gosh lol. Picture Hannah Montana doing it...it fits.

Yeah, I can see how Dangerous may sound a little repetitive. To be honest, I used to skip over "Unbreakable" all the time because that "Du-du-du-du, du-du-du-du, du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du-du" beat got really annoying and repetitive, but eventually I learned to love it. Now I think it's a bit of a blistering, insanely cool track.

Dangerous took me a few listens too, I didn't like the spoken verses.. I prefered the parts before the chorus and the bridge where he sang.

On HIStory, I think some of the filler is a bit underrated. Money, 2 Bad and This Time Around are especially slick tracks.

I'm actually listening to Dangerous album right now and I just noticed that the song Dangerous sounds just like Jam musically. If I had to pick the fillers for each album

(Off The Wall)
It's The Falling In Love (This song is kind of boring to me)

(Thriller)
The Girl Is Mine (MJ's solo demo demolishes the album version)

(Bad)
Just Good Friends (Ugh! I change the song before the music can even come on)

(Dangerous)
I really can't pick one from here, but if I HAD to, I would say it's "Keep The Faith"

(HIStory)
Like Dangerous album, I can't pick, but if I HAD to, I'd say "Little Susie"

I find it a little interesting how in the earlier days of Michael's career,he seemed very comfortable with having his shirt open, and showing his chest,a little skin, but then he became not so skin friendly, always covered. Yes he wore a sleeveless shirt for the In The Closet video, and he bared his chest in You Are Not Alone video, but other than that he was always covered. hmmm

I am worried about the kids tbh Karen Faye posted on her profile on fb that she had spoken to Latoya and the kids were beginning to run wild swearing at people and being lead astray by the cousins. I just hope this isnt true and its just them talking BS because it would break Michael's heart he raised them to be such polite kind kids and to have that be destroyed is awful.

Even if they mess everything else up and spend all Michael's money I just pray those kids turn out okay.
