Randy was Michael's manager during the trial. The guy signed three documents in Michael's name (despite the fact that Michael was against him signing them) that would liquidate the estate. This put Michael severily in debt. Randy also robbed 7 millions from Michael and confessed, on trial, that he would have received 20 millions from Sony had he successfully sold the ATV catalog. Remember that Randy and one of his associates wanted to force Michael to sign some document through which the ATV catalog would be sold. When he refused to do so, Randy's associate told Mike this: "You aren't down with the blacks anyome. You are down with the jews.". According to court documents, both Randy and his pal verbally attacked Michael. Randy admitted to have done so but testified against his brother claiming that "he [Randy] had very good intentions" despite the fact that the jury later found that, had Michael signed the document, Randy would have received millions and millions under the table and Michael would be left with almost nothing.
Joseph is known for getting in trouble almost every month. During the 80's, Don King and Joe messed up the Victory Tour so badly that Michael was sued 55 times. Joe would get in trouble acting as Michael's manager (when, in fact, he wasn't) and Michael would bail him out. According to many accounts, Michael paid all Joseph's debts and lawsuits. Remember the Korean shows? Michael ended up paying the company 25 millions because Joe messed up.
All the sibling received 7 millions from the Victory tour. One year later, some of them declared bankrupcy. It is also well known that none of the brothers has/had income over the years. They chose to live off of Michael. The brothers never paid child support, their kids' school, NOTHING. Michael paid them EVERYTHING you can imagine. Michael gave his family EVERYTHING. It is also not a secret that Mike's family members are very bad when it comes to finances and being businessmen. They have no ideia how to manage their own money, choosing to spend it all with mistresses and never even catered for their own children. Michael knew this. He knew his family sucks when it comes to handle money and have no business sense whatsoever.
Besides, we all know what Randy wants to do with the estate; liquidate the assets and re-will them. Furthermore, the Jacksons would kill for 1 dollar. If Michael had left them the estate, the assets would be sold and the money distributed by Katherine's children while MJ's kids would be left WITH NOTHING and the estate would be run to the ground.

That family defines greediness and, also dumbness. If they have no ideia on how to handle their own money, how would they run a billion dollar estate?

The entire family was in that living room eager to know what was written in the will. The siblings [Jackie, Tito, Rebbie, Jermaine, Marlon, Randy, Janet] wanted Mrs. Jackson to inherit 40% of the estate because they know she would re-will it to them. Michael always said they weren't good businessmen. Whenever they did business with Michael, he ended up being sued by everybody. The Jacksons are not good with money and, to be fair, that family would put Michael in trouble whenever they were in charge"

Frank Dileo:" The Jacksons showed me and Michael, throughout the years,that they are horrible with money. Michael didn't want to be businness partners with them. He wanted them to be his family and nothing more. They would always mess up and Michael told me he had no doubt they would run the estate to the ground. And, uh, it is very well-documented that they aren't always honest."
