I went and saw batman vs superman in 3D today .I thought it was going to be terrible.the first 20 minutes were slow but it got a lot better.I have to say I enjoyed the fight scenes ,the. Dream sequence with blood coming out of Bruce Wayne's mothers grave stone .I cried when superman died and the pipe music was very touching .especially with the Silver S on Superman's coffin .The new Batman is very intimidating .I'm really looking forward to Justice League movie .Lex Luthor seemed VERY miscast
Wonder woman was great and very hott.I'm surpried there wasn't a credits scene

Im not much of a Movie DC fan, but I will say as a fan of the CW's tv shows, the WB/DC exec's need to quit bad mouthing Grant Gustin every chance they get. That boy is wonderful and deserves props for bring the right amount of naive euphemism to the role of Barry Allen. Instead all I hear is that he wasn't considered for the Movie's flash cause he's on TV and shit.

The audience erupted in cheers when Wonder Woman appeared in full costume
There was a good amount of children in the audience too,
And boy did it get quiet when Super Man died and at his funereal lol
I heard kids say... He's dead?

When it was over the crowd erupted in claps and cheers... Kinda cool when that happens in a theater

Over all I didn't think it was great, but I enjoyed it
I'll watch the next one

I think it's more of a case of trying to separate the TV series from the movies. If they had the same actor playing The Flash, it would have been confusing for the audience. Tom Welling wasn't considered because the movie version of Superman is not supposed to be the same guy he played in Smallville. They are telling a separate story with the movies so it stands to reason that they'd cast different people.

I didn't like Lex Luthor either. Bryan Cranston or Jon Hamm would have been better options. I wonder when Superman comes back if he'll have his black suit with the silver S on it.

fantastic movie, enjoyed every minute of it yesterday in the IMAX.

I love this superman, he is badass.

Love the darkness of the move, no silly humor you have so much with Marvel.

The first 15 minutes with Bruce wayne's point of view on supermans last fight were genius.

Wonderwoman rocks, although the should have casted a more musclar woman i think.

It was big, bigger, biggest.

Applause in the audience afterwards, that hardly happens.

Gonna see it again this week.

Yeah I agree with that. I would also be happy if they hired Stephen Amell to play the Green Arrow but a different actress to play black canary.

You know that wasn't THE Lex Luthor, right? It's his son Alexander Luthor Jr. I thought the actor (Jesse Eisenberg) was great for the role.

I'm not a huge fan of superhero movies, but this one was great. The 2 1/2 hours just flew by, that's how good it was. The storyline that led to the heroes squaring off against each other was well written.

There was some. The part where Martha was rescued by Batman and the part where each of the two thought Wonder Woman was with the other.

Yeah, it's Lex Jr but he's the only Lex we have. I don't see the point in not having the "real" Lex Luthor. Unless they plan on bringing him into a sequel? And if they do, I hope Clancy Brown plays him.

Just back from seeing the movie and I have to say, while its far from perfect, I liked it. Ben Affleck is my new favourite Batman. I think he will really prove a lot of doubters wrong. A lot has been made of him killing people and I don't read the comics but I've heard it said that it's something he doesn't do, but for the purposes of the film, it works. Also, it's said that this version of Batman has been around for 20 years and is grieving the loss of Robin so maybe the non killing thing is something he tried, but just didn't work out. Alfred (BEST ALFRED EVER) has a line in the movie about Bruce Wayne turning cruel when referring to him "branding" the villains but maybe he's also referring to Batman killing his enemies. Wonder Woman was ok, it felt a bit tacked on and I don't think it would have made a difference to the movie had she not been in it. But they have to lay the foundation for The Justice League somehow, so I suppose she serves her purpose. Likewise, the cameos from the other Justice League members. Didn't really add much but I liked the Flash (in full costume) seemingly sending a message to Bruce Wayne from the future. That was kind of trippy. Superman is ok too. I'm still not sold on Henry Cavill but he was ok. Lois Lane seems only to be in the movie so Superman has someone to save. The worst thing about the movie for me was Lex Luthor. Its like Jesse Eisennerd didn't know what way to play the character so he went all out nuts one minute and seemed to be a criminal mastermind the next. The pacing of the movie seemed a bit off as well. I can't quite put my finger on it but it didn't flow particularly well. Maybe that's something that will be rectified with the directors cut DVD, which will add in an extra 30 minutes and bring up the age rating to R. Overall though, it was good. Better than Man of Steel but it makes me look forward to the next standalone Ben Affleck Batman movie more than The Justice League, which I'm guessing was not their intention.

I know Superman Returns was not the box office hit the studio wanted but I really liked it, better than Man of Steel IMO. I know they want to make Superman more darker (yeah let's make ALL the super heros into anti-Heros rolleyes ) I liked the cast better Brandon Routh as Superman, Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane. The previews made it seem like Kevin Spacey was going to play Lex Luthor over the top (Like how Jesse Eisennerd did) but he didn't and I liked his performance.

Dead. They have a Lexcorp website that says he died but I don't imagine that stopping them bringing him back if they really wanted him.

He must be but I have to admit, he was one of my favourite characters on that show. He reminded me of the guy that played Lex in the Dean Cain series.

The movie is pretty damn near PERFECT!!! I knew Zack would hit another homerun, continuing the greatest Superman movie ever... Man of Steel!!!

As a life long fan of these characters, I loved it! Ben Affleck is the standout/highlight of the movie!!! His version of Bruce Wayne/The Batman was TOP NOTCH!!! He raised the bar to a whole new level and made me EMBARRASSED for every single actor who wore the cowl before him. West, Keaton, Kilmer, Clooney AND Bale... they ALL need to take a knee to Affleck's performance!

Gal Gadot is very good as Wonder Woman, even though she is under used in the movie.

What can you say about Henry Cavill? The guy is the ultimate Superman and his performance shows it!

Jeremy Irons as Alfred, was another great performance! This is the Alfred of the comic books! It weas nice to finally see him on film as he really is... Batman's partner in crime... not just some boring butler, being a surrogate dad to Bruce.

I wasn't expecting them to follow the Death of Superman storyline, but it was quite a surprise and an extremely solid sacrifice, for Superman to make, in order to save others. His death and resurrection will be what kicks off the Justice League Part 1 movie.

My biggest disappointment was Zack Snyder's inclusion of slow motion in this film. The fact that he didn't use slow motion in "Man of Steel" is what made that movie unique and set apart from other superhero movies, including Watchmen. Using all that slow motion, took me out of the reality of the story and action. Now, having said all that, this movie is really for the fans of the comics. If you've never picked up a Batman or Superman comic in the last 20 years, if you've never watched the Batman Animated Series, the Superman Animated Series or the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited Animated series or The Dark Knight Returns Animated movie... you probably will be lost, confused and let down by this film.

Otherwise, this movie was a true labor of love, filled the rich history of the comics and Zack has remained faithful to the comics, and that is what makes this movie, the ultimate success!

Tell me, do you bleed? You will!
