you really don't see it? why would you even mention your race? why bring it up at all? insofar as you have done so right here, are you not guilty of exactly that which you accuse Graycap23 of having done? bringing 'race' into the topic???

falloff No, I don't see it and no one else sees it but you and Graycap, which tells me all I need to know. No offense.

I've never attacked Graycap personally. He did question my sexuality once, and made a snarky comment about me and gerbils, but I don't really care. I like him; I just don't like racebaiting.

I've always debated people, you included. What I've found with the "Aliens among us" crowd is that they don't like back-and-forth, and they REALLY don't like responding to refutations.

What I've found with Graycap is that many times, he posts a link that directly contradicts his main point. It's like he never even bothers to read it. He did it recently in the "President Reagan FEMA Director Concentration Camp" and the "This Is What The NFL Thinks of Ray Rice" threads.

I sure don't mind getting yelled out, but like a couple others said on this thread - when I find BS, I'm going to call it out.

Well, I am happy to throw this into the court of public opinion. In fact, I will start a thread on it in P&R, and we'll see how the vote turns out!

If I win, the tag line stays. If I lose, it goes. Fair enough?

OK, the voting is open! Go vote on whether my signature is racist or not! Voting lasts for one week. Any and all votes are appreciated, but you only get one vote!

omg disbelief Please tell me that you're not implying that Gray should "go back to Africa". Whatever happen to "go the hell to Canada", so it wouldn't sound too insensitive in the political correct days we're living in?

Tony, I'll happily tell you I wasn't implying that, nor did that thought ever cross my mind. As far as I know, Graycap is an American, so I wouldn't be telling him to go back to anywhere.

It's obvious Graycap hates America. All he ever does is bitch about it. You know that's true. So my feeling is, if he hates this country so much, why not leave? Certainly he must know of a better place that would make him happier. Why he stays in the USA, when it obviously causes him so much pain and strife, is a real mystery.

I have no idea if he'd like Canada, or anywhere, so I didn't mention any country. That part is up to him.

Now, I will happily expect your affirmation of understanding, because I know you are that kind of man!

As long as sexism, racism, and white suprmacy still exist in America in certain fashions, Gray should bitch about it. Every human being of all skin colors should bitch about it.

Why not leave? I have a better idea. In theory, why do we not all leave America and give the country right back to the surviving Native American tribes? I'll tell you why: It's too damn late for that suggestion! All of us born in the USA are stuck here and we need to deal with it.

Now get it back to the Adrian Peterson backlash & the spanking vs. physical child abuse debate, I think it was clear in this thread a few pages earlier that there are plenty of people, of all skin-color, past and present, that believes in spanking children as a form of discipline. Why did we give Joseph Jackson a good telling off for going too far disciplining his children (especially poor Marion! sad ) and not give a telling off to George Osmand for going too far disciplining Donny?

Oh, I agree that Incognito is a dick, and I've played enough guys like him to know that nope - wouldn't want him on my team.

But let's expand your statement: Would you want a man (of any skin color) known to bully his own teammates/wife/kids to play for your football team? neutral

I'm not sure if you saw it, but within a couple days of Ray Rice's wife-beating video surfacing, the entire Baltimore Ravens team disowned him and abandoned him. THAT is why he was released. His teammates didn't want him around.

SIMPLY ANSWER: No.

And for the record, Ray Rice was also guilty for lying to his teammates and his head coach about certain details concerning that incident.

Did he go overboard on whipping the kid? Yes. Should it have been blown completely overboard? No. This case won't evn go 2 trial until next May/June. Why the urgency with an arrest warrant"?

Dude - no one took issue with you on that. It was what you did after that comment that pissed off most of the people here. Specifically:

Graycap23 said:

Give me a break. I just MENTIONED the CNN report because after all, it's CNN and not coming from some anonymous person here on the Org. Second, I intentionally did NOT provide the link because I didn't think it was appropriate to have it in here. Third, I did not bring up race at all initially in this thread or in the Ray Rice thread. You jump over several pages of everything else I said to draw attention to a CNN article that I did not post, did not write and did not include it in its entirety but merely SUMMARIZED what I was reading since the topic was already brought up! Please comprehend better next time. Thanks. By the way, where was the pun you referred to or are you just using that figure of speech to make your post seem more intellectual than it ever really could be?

It is facinating how in the US u are innocent until proven guilty............except when brothers are involved. It is uncanny how the simple accusation works when it is us involved. No one wants 2 talk about that angle either.

You said all of us were faking it when expressing concern for the child, then you lumped us all in as racists, and then you lamented how it's impossilbe for any black man to get an even break. That's what pissed off everyone. I don't understand how you don't get this.

But when exactly did Gray called anyone by name in this 8+ pages long thread a racist? confused

I never said he did. I've always said he is race-baiting. He's doing it to the whole board, not just one or two people in particular.

The posts of his that I quoted couldn't be any more clear on that.

It kind of defeats your point if you reference a story but don't provide a link to it. I looked all over the CNN front page yesterday and couldn't find what you were referring to. Now, I don't think you made this story up, but if I can't find it, then it's hard for me to accept anything you say about it.

If you'd be more comfortable, OrgNote me the link and I'll check it out.

It was an CNN report link that was speaking of how race and culture plays a part in corporal punishment, and she agreed with Graycap, based on that link that it was a racial conspiracy against Peterson. That's all I'm going to say.

OK, thanks. Doesn't sound like it supports their contention vis. a. vie black men, but I can't say for sure until I see it. I'll look for it again.
