Y'all forget about Bosh for a minute and tell me what the hell we're paying Ray Allen for??? Maybe I missed something but I'm underwhelmed. bored2

I think they were hoping for a few big shots in May and June.

If he can pull that off in the Finals he will be worth . . . every . . . penny.

Did y'all see where Karl Malone put out his Top 5 Starting Lineup ever? Here it is:

G - John Stockton

G - Oscar Robertson

F - Scottie Pippen

F - LeBron James

C - Wilt Chamberlain

Notice anything weird about that list?

No Michael Jordan. Apparently, the Mailman didn't figure that Jordan was as good as his teammate: "Scottie Pippen led the team in every statistical category while he was there without Michael Jordan,” Malone explained. “That’s why I have to put him there. So now you know."

Dude can carry a grudge, can't he?

And the ultimate slap is putting Scottie Pippen on that list. Yikes!

Replace Stockton w MJ and Malone would be 100% correct.

Knowing the Spurs' ability, I still say Miami In 6.

Simply put, Miami has the best player in the world in his absolute prime. The Spurs will have no answer for him. His worst enemy is in his mirror, and he's tamed that enemy pretty well.

I don't think you can compare IND to SA. It doesn't translate that way. The matchups are different. Duncan is an all-time player, but neither he nor Splitter can bring the brute force of West and Hibbert. Kawhi Leonard is a heckuva player, but he's no Paul George.

The Spurs hope that the rest benefitted Ginobili, who can and will deliver in spots, but if they stick LBJ on him, that's that.

I cannot wait for this matchup. But it begins and ends with No. 6.

Karl Malone done fell and bumped his damn head. I would put Bird on that list before i put John Stockton on it. You have to put Michael Jordan on this list and i would put Magic

Johnson in for Stockton easily. Magic would easily be the all time assist leader if he didn't

have to retire early.

Fuck the stats, no way does Stockton belong ahead of Magic. The Mailman needs to get a grip.

My All-NBA squad would look like this;

Starters - Magic, Jordan, Bird, Duncan, Wilt

Bench - Oscar, West, LeBron, Baylor, Hakeem

Reserves - Russell, Kareem, Dr. J

I don't know if LeBron will win as many rings as Jordan, but he can be as great a player. In my 40-plus years of following basketball, I've never seen a cat that size do the things LeBron can do on the court - sick physical skills. Plus he's totally unselfish - he can play like Magic, or he can take over a game like Jordan. Yeah, he did some immature shit, but he's learned from it.

I'm actually amazed at how little love Pippen gets.

6 rings and just under 24,000 points for a 2nd banana.
