i am very monogamous when in a relationship.

the only reason i didnt say 10 is because in younger stupider days, i knowingly was the other person in someone else's relationship.

Never, ever under any circumstances. No possible way.

I'd say a 9. I want to say that I would never, ever cheat on my partner....but life has a funny way of sometimes making you eat crow when it comes to saying "never" so I can't realistically say "10".

It's only cheating if you get caught ...

is cheating intercourse with someone besides your SO? is it emotional involvement? is it kissing? ect ect ect

in my understanding "cheating" is anything beyond the bounds of your agreed upon terms with your partner.

^^^ that being said, i have been cheated on, have cheated once and having learned from the lack of clear discussion in the past - discuss terms often in my current relationship and will not cheat moving forward

if you simply mean sex outside my relationship, i would - but my partner would be aware of this.

^^^I would say anything from making out passionately to going all the way with someone else. I wouldn't define a quick kiss as "cheating".

Emotional Involvement is definitely cheating in a sense, but that can be corrected & forgiven.

When you get to the point where you've become emotionally involved with someone else, it's time to decide whether to LEAVE your marriage/relationship or end the affair and work on righting whatever's gone wrong.

Definitely make a clean break before screwing.

I'd give an estimation of 5-6. Depends on the other person in the end. Had I tried out a "proper relationship" with some of the women I've dated / slept with during the last 3-4 years the likelihood for that would be very high. I don't think any of them would have "deserved" fidelity (they might have felt the same way about me).

I'll be honest here, the question can't be answered. Simply because, life has a way of putting you in situations where sometimes you can react in a way that you never would expect to. So I can sit up here and say "oh no I would never cheat" all day long, but I really don't know.

This. I don't think I'd ever cheat on a partner, but I don't know for sure what situations in my life might happen.
