I just watched this recently. The video clip that makes me shake my head is when the cat attacks that little kid. If one of my cats did that, they would be thrown outdoors, seriously!

RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

Dogs are so much friendlier than cats

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

I agree. I like cats cause I grew up with them and understand their bounderies--they're also clean, and tend to mind their own business.

However, they really are the most selfish, useless animals. Dogs are so much more loyal and friendly.

I'm sure all the people who have been very viciously attacked, had their children mauled or their pets eaten by dogs would respectfully disagree with you. biggrin

Yes, I see this point.

I am not a fan of Pit Bulls and certain 'big dogs'.

BTW, my mother was mauled viciously by a wild cat. I was 6 when it happened, and I saw her in the garden watering her plants in a nightgown...it was completely stained red by the time my dad ran out and scared the cat away.

And, by the way, cats (as well as dogs) are far more loyal than most human beings are. biggrin wink

One of my cats (correction, one of my flatmate equals) used to do the same exact thing: Slide arm under the crack of the door and incessantly boing-boing that damn doorstop spring with her paw pad until I'd get out of bed.

I finally got so sick of the obnoxiousness of that noise that I'd leave the door partly open. That only invited her to lay on my face or use it to showoff her jab and right cross. Always a gentle jab, mind you, but when you're trying to sleep the last thing to rise is almost always a sense of humor.

Some can hardly even remember who you are when you come back from a 2-week holiday trip.

Do you mean cats, dogs, humans or all three?

Horses ARE jerks. All the time. If you humans think they're all cute and noble, you don't have to spend all day on the barnyard with them. All prancing around, their mane just so, making little nasty jibes at the other animals. All of them are pricks. And they don't like humans. You know that Clydesdale on that commercial that all walks up to the human that raised him after he just got to be in that big parade. That was a CGI effect because no horse would actually humble themself to do that. Plus about 90% of horses are on crack. And they are always mooching because they blow all of their money betting on themselves at the track.

Absoolutely worthless.

Cats, really. I was trying to be polite to cat owners by making it seem like I was referring to both, but yeah, cats.
