I don't have any locs but I had my hair braided for the last three months so I have enough hair now to start my locs. I was so tempted to get chemicals again but I am glad I didn't.

Locs don't represent just a hairstyle but a journey. Its breaking down those notions that NAPPY hair is bad hair and that kinky hair is unattractive. God made my hair perfect..as is.
Our hair holds energy. To birth a new journey, some will cut their locs OR begin them.

Very beautiful poem! A few years ago, I was set on getting dreads. I had my hair in twists. Went to London. It proceeded to rain everyday I was there. My hair got frizy. I decided to shave it off
