Oh My God, I'm Sooooo embarrassed I've had such a shitty ass day today.
And to make things even worse, I went to the bank, and their stupid drive through was closed , so I had to go inside. The woman inside was Chinese , and I was making small talk with her. No big deal. Just being friendly and stuff. And I asked her if she spoke Mandarine or some other dialect like Cantonese or Hawkein(sp?). She said she spoke Cantonese, which I actually learned a bit of when I was working in a Chinese restaurant back when was younger. I was all like "OMG, I know a little Cantonese!" She was like, "Oh Really? What???" It was at that point that I realized that the waiters there did indeed teach me some Cantonese when I was a young tike, but that the cleanest thing they taught me was (in phoenetics)... Deul Le Ma Chow Hai , or "Fuck your momma's stank pussy". I then told her I couldnt really repeat the stuff I know. It got more awkward after that. I left post haste.

Hell, look at it this way, you'll probably never see her again. Avoid the bank.
There must be something else to make the day so bad....

I was taught the phrase "You are a very nice person." in Cantonese (I think.) Many years back. I still remember the phrase but whenever I try to show off and say it. No one knows what the hell I'm saying. The person who taught the phrase to me told me I pronounced it really well.
Very embarrassing. Chung hi ho yang lau. MyeternalgrattitudetoPhil&Val.Herman said "We want sweaty truckers at the truck stop! We want cigar puffing men that look like they wanna beat the living daylights out of us" Val"sporking is spooning with benefits"

Very embarrassing. Chung hi ho yang lau. I can get it ... it'd be more like "(Lei) Zhan hai ho yan la" In Mandarin it'd be "(Ni) Zhende shi hao ren"

Very embarrassing. Chung hi ho yang lau. Most of the folks in Alabama always tried to repeat the stuff the staff would teach them (folks like to ask, "so, how do you say..."). But whenever they said the words back it always sounded like they were trying to speak Cantonese in a french or mexican accent

OMG, totally say that to her, so I can see if I'm remember it correctly! as disgusting as they sound ... your words were correct usually they insert Lo right here, it means old which makes it evne more derogatory then it already is ... kei low Deul Le Lo Ma Chow Hai Funny Cantonese words : Kam Yu Low (whick means pervert, but would be literally translated to Gold Fish Man, someone who leads children on with gold fish ) Siew La Po (short dick men, but literally "little trumpet") [Edited 3/6/08 16:38pm]
