Dance, i know (or at least i think i know) what your getting at...and even tho I am not rasta, I did approach my decision to grow locs with spiritual intentions, vs. fasionable ones...I am well aware that locking your hair was never meant to be a fashion statement, and am equally dismayed (as i imagine you are) that it has become a trend, especialy in recent years...and me smoking in a pic with my locs exposed is all too cliche...

but to judge my spiritual awareness, OR personal integrity, based on a solitary photograph is just as inconsiderate as the person you believe you saw in that picture...and i'm sure a wise man or woman of any path would agree..

Am I the only one who feels strange about just throwing them away in the garbage?? I don't like flushing them down the toilet either. Frankly, I like to burn the ends. Maybe it's that old wives tale about birds getting hold of your hair, making a nest & therefore making you go insane But yea, me no likey dat...
