I've decided janet jackson has mental health issues

I don't hate her now, I just feel sorry for her sad ass right now. I'm not even michael's family member and his death fucked with my mind, she must feel worse. Look how fast she went back to work and how cold she acted from the start, and she said she didn't pay attention to media and updates to keep sane, something similar I was doing cause it was too much, and then going on to sound ignorant in interviews and despite all she heard at the murray trial. Now she's cracking up cause reality is hitting her that they might all come to her for money, and she resents michael for all this, it's an extension of the crap she felt in the 90's towards him that I believe more than ever though I thought it was BS then. So what does she do? Take it out on Katherine and Paris and think she's in control, no pun intended. She's not looking out for katherine, she's looking out for janet jackson. And speaking of katherine, she cries all the time in interviews now and I don't blame her, maybe janet was manipulating that and making her think she's getting her help, cause she needs to help herself....stop saying in interviews you love helping people, it doesn't count if you can't help yourself. I learned that the hard way and it's a shame she can't. I don't want to feel resentment towards her and then regret if she's gone one day, she just needs to check herself and get her act together.

Anyone have her cowboy's digits? Coffee enema samples? I can't wait to hear her new interludes, VR pt. 2 bitches!!!

hmmm I don't know what's going on with her,but I read this story in the media recently....

Janet Jackson and Mother Not Talking, Janet Charging Mom for Use of Vegas Condo

Janet Jackson continues her descent into post-career madness: she’s charging her mother for use of her Las Vegas condo. Katherine Jackson has asked the Michael Jackson estate to increase her cost of living expenses so she can travel to Las Vegas and stay in Janet’s condo, which the “What Have You Done For Me Lately?” singer doesn’t live in or use.

TMZ incorrectly reported–then removed–a story that Mrs. Jackson asked the estate to pay Janet’s mortgage. Untrue. Mrs. Jackson travels to Gary, Indiana, where she still maintains a home. And she likes to stay in Vegas. The estate will tell the probate court in its next report that they’re giving Mrs. Jackson funds to use for these stays. Janet — since the battles this summer over Michael’s estate–refuses to be generous enough to her mother, sources say, and just provide for her at the condo.

“There’s no way the estate would ever pay Janet’s mortgage,” laughed an insider. But my question is: what is Janet Jackson’s financial situation that she’s become so publicly unglued over money?

Anyone know what this is all about?

a family who was once respected, specifically from 1969-1984 has become the most vilified in the history of entertainment, in the history of the united states

and it all started in 1987...

a time where all of the siblings were recognized for their musical talents, that recognition has been destroyed

this family has paid dearly from the worst advice they were given when they started their career journey at Motown....they were taught to refrain from speaking up for their themselves, in order to come across as non-threatening as possible so they could appeal commercially,

and they have never deviated from that ill advise to this very day, that's the major reason their are subject to the level of disdain directed their way for the past 25 years, because people feel they have the right to do so

EVEN when the family has never said anything disrespectful to people who don't deserve to be respected, and with this latest fiasco from last month, a fan following followed by lackluster commercial media, social media outlet, and radio programmers have continuously berated them with hatred..the whole situation has become putrid and its a crying shame....

people don't consider their actions, or consider what it would be like to have the shoe on the other foot, knowing the whole world is pounding on you all because a litany of lies....

and for those who feast on the attacks found themselves dealing w/what they've had to for the past quarter century, they would fold like a proverbial tent

Depression wouldn't be the term that would describe how they would feel

it stopped being about the music a very long time ago........long time ago

1984 was the beginning of the end, IMHO (and it's not just about the Victory fiasco either)...but I definitely agree with everything you said.

I don't fully agree. The family, generally speaking, are pretty secretive and far from just 'innocent victims.' I really doubt that it's just they were 'taught that' by Motown. I think it's just their nature as we saw in Janet and Micheal. I think you are self-inserting yourself into their situation which is clouding your judgment instead of basing your opinions from a more objective viewpoint.

no, I don't need to interject an individual perspective, I"m highlighting how all of this went down and when it started, and why...nothing more nothing less

this ain't about being perfect....that's not the issue

a man and a woman have had to come on tv countless times to defend how they raised their kdis some 30 years after the majority of them were already grown....I've never seen that before anywhere

and yes, from day one at Motown, the family, particularly from brothers were taught to answer certain type of questions when it pertained to their music and their performances but beyond that realm, they couldn't speak on anything else, Motown wanted them to come across as non-threatening as possible to appeal commercially, they have paid for that restriction dearly

and this is exaclty how this has played out over the past 25 years, like one bad commercial take after take....these guys are in their 50s now...heck Jackie is almost 65 years old but when they do interviews, they are spoken to like teenagers, which is exactly what they were when J5 broke bread in 69

when this stuff meant something, particularly in the late 70s, early 80s, they were spoken to like grown men

what was awesome back in the day has been snatched away and distorted beyond all recognition

I've been following the Jackson family for a number of years, and never noticed that until you pointed it out, Scorp, and I agree with what you're saying.

It really gives me a headache everytime I listen to them speak in an interview because you're absolutely right, they do sound like teenagers, and they come off as nervous, uncomfortable, and at the end of the day, not believable.

I firmly believe that the family are easy marks for the media, but I'm starting to believe moreso that people in general are dumb as hell themselves for believing everything that comes out of the media.

When it comes to the Jackson family, I learned over the years not to believe a word that comes out of the media, over the years so many stories have floated out of the media about this family that's absolutely false, it took MJ's death to vindicate him of false information about him.

I try to stay neutral about the "stability" of the family, no family is perfect, I'm certainly not perfect, so I can't speak ill of another family just because there's issues going on with them. I've seen worst dysfunction in families, famous families, fathers punching out their sons, parents molesting/raping their daughters, doing children doing drugs with their parents, so I don't buy that "The Jacksons are the epitome of dysfunction", sell that to some other sucker.

we all still talking 'bout this stuff?

only janet's therapist knows if she truly has mental issues. i say the press and the negative media mongers fuel the gossip. some of its true, some lies, most of the real facts are embellished for ratings. (so there yah go!)

the jackson's have never ever really had a chance to be a normal family since fame found them. what famous people ever have a return to normalcy in their lives?

exactly thatruth

this family is restricted now because of all the lies that has sprung forth for the past 25 years

if these people mentioned had to deal w/all that crap publically and world wide, they wouldn't be able to cope, THEY would be depressed and filled w/sadness, but they dont' think about that

Joe Jackson never took one dime of his kid's money, even Michael Jackson has admitted that on number of occassions....

whereas MacCauley Culkin had to sue his parents to get his money.....

Gary Coleman had to sue his adoptive parents for tying up all his money......

Michael Jackson or any other of the siblings ever had to do that.....

when the brothers do an interview, they can NEVER talk about their own musical talent, they can never talk about the great memories such as performing during the Triumph Tour

none of the siblings have ever been said to be strung out, especially during the age of all time drug experimentation in the late 70s, or the raging crack epidemic of the 80s

there's way more PRO than it is CON when the record is told straight

people think Joe Jackson was tough, they ain't even ready for the OSMOND's father George....

he was Joe Jackson times 10
